Mission: Mission 105: The Mirror, Shattered
Location: Various Locations - USS Infinity
Timeline: 1040Hrs - October 8th, 2393

Meanwhile, seated in one of the sets of guest quarters. Sarah Horner was meeting with three people, two were in starfleet and one was a civilian. Commander Hannah Mueller who had a compact, wiry body and was of average height and Lt Commander Anthony Raynor who was a large hulk of a man as well as a civilian whos name Horner had forgotten. "Well, the empire has done this sort of crap before. Oh all's forgiven they'll say and then when they become stable again, they pull some dumb assed stunt and reopen all the labor camps which they never really closed in the first place." Mueller explained.

Horner raised an eyebrow. "You three speak for everyone?" she inquired of the gathering before her.

"Yes." the civilian spoke. "Everyone has made an interest in seeing what your reality looks like..." Raynor answered in a flat tone. "It's gotta be better then what we have... right?" he asked.

"You better it clear that when we reach the portal, there will be no going back. their choices cannot be unmade." Horner explained in a calm tone of voice. "Make sure you gather your people and impress this upon them. Our next stop is the portal and home... Once we go through, we will attempt to close the portal from our side... If we succeed then the connection will be severed forever..."

"So we'll end up being written off as lost or dead..." Mueller answered. "At least in this universe anyway... I'm okay with that. I'm tired of having strange men hold me down and rape me on a nightly basis..." she growled. Horner found she had no good answer for the other woman except. "Well, we don't have labor camps but I can assure you that we have the ability to at least help you with your present issues... My Federation has its issues... But if you are all in Starfleet... With the infomation, we downloaded from the facility's computer core. We can facilitate you joining and serving in our starfleet, should you all desire it. Or we will give you some assistance and you can go off to live your lives as best as you can, free..."

"You'd let us go... Just like that?" The civilian inquired.

"Are you saying that I shouldn't?" Horner inquired of the gathering.

"No... It's just a... A little weird being told that... I apologize." Mueller answered instead.

"It's fine. No offense was taken." Horner answered. "We arrive in less then an hour and we have twenty-two hundred people to remind of that they will never see their homes again in this universe if they wish to come with us." she paused. "We'd best be sure of this."

"Why not ask them over the com system" Mueller answered.

"Yes.." Horner then tapped her combadge. "Attention all personel. Everyone, I need a moment of your time..." she commented. "If there is anyone who is having second thoughts about remaining in this reality. Meet me in Shuttle bay three in thirty minutes and I will fly you to the nearest inhabited planet to drop you off...Because let me remind you that if you wish to come with us then we will be heading home, back to our universe... Once we go through the portal, we will then try to seal it behind us... You will be stranded there with us... for better or for worse... So... Shuttle bay three... In fifteen minutes... If anyone wishes to remain here... Thank you for your time, everyone... Horner out." and with that, she lightly touched her combadge on her chest.

"Nicely said," Mueller answered with a nod.

"Well put Commander... I for one. Wanna know what your reality looks like, maybe Raynors farm is still around... Maybe I'll spend some time there... Maybe my family exists here... I hope they can accept me..." he commented as he smiled. "Anything's better than staying here."

Mueller nodded in agreement. "Here, I am little more than a slave, used for other people's lust... Maybe in your universe, I can do something better."

Horner nodded her head. "Well, you'll all have to fill out documentation but you will all need new names... Because both of you two at least, have counterparts that are already serving. Maybe their families will be accepting of you, but then that's me... and I'm not you." she explained with a soft sigh. "Anyway. I need to head down to Shuttle Bay Three..." she breathed out and then back in again. "Because I gave these people a choice... I should honor that choice."

"Commendable Commander. I wish others thought as you do, maybe this universe would be a better place." the civilian commented in a light tone of voice.

"Alright, then I'd best get to it..." Horner commented before she departed the set of guest quarters. Mueller slowly smiled. "It'll be nice to enjoy my own set of quarters without some random dude looking for sex..."

"I'm Sorry Hannah..." Raynor commented quietly.

"It's not your fault. Anthony... You and the other guys can't be expected to protect the females among us at all times and still be expected to get your work done... It would only give the guards more excuses to be assholes, considering that it was the guards who did it in the first place... Now that they have understood the depths of their failures, now the empire will allow them permission to die."

Raynor slowly smiled. "Well the empire never tolerated failure and these guys failed rather pathetically, they didn't kill any of their attackers and the defense was a failure, they allowed themselves to be captured and stripped of all of their gear before being trapped on some island somewhere. It's pathetic really."

Mueller nodded her head. "The first imperial ship will simply target the island and either beam down an assault team to exterminate the guards or they will simply glass the island from orbit. Or worse yet, leave them here to fend for themselves forever."

"Maybe it'll be the last one, they deserve to be left alone... Death is so permanent whereas life is so full of possibilities." Raynor explained.

Mueller simply giggled like a little schoolgirl at that statement.

Meanwhile, Commander Sarah Horner stood outside the primary entrance to Shuttle bay three. She inhaled a big breathe of air as she fought to calm herself, before she entered the shuttle bay, inside was only a half dozen shuttles and not a soul in sight. The personel who normally worked in the hanger were standing outside as the Chief had insisted they all take thirty minutes for an extra break. Horner smiled. "Computer, is there anyone in Shuttle bay three?" she asked in a soft tone of voice.

"Negative." came the answer.

"Thank you." and with that, she departed the hanger, tapping her combadge in silence. "Horner to bridge."

"Bridge, Walking Bear here." came the voice of Heather Walking Bear.

"Take us home Heather. Nobody wishes to remain here."

"Outstanding sir, we're are on our way now."

"Good," Horner answered. "Horner out." before she tapped her combadge a second time.
