| Personal History | Commander Shaalari Zh'Terran was born in 2357, on the colony world of Alluvion. This world was somewhat colder then Earth so Zh'Terran found she fit in here better then she would have had she been born on Earth or Andor. Zh'Terran was a born Engineer, always fixing broken things time after time, people always went to her because they saw her as the one who would always get things sorted out and fixed, from hovercycles that would have another couple of years to tractors for the farmers. Even household appliances found themselves to Zh'Terran's store and this child along with her parents and siblings found themselves in high demand. When she came of age, she had to go back to Andor to become accepted into a bondgroup and undergo the Shel'reth which meant she needed to conceive children and she ended up having several children back to back within her bond group, four in all then she went off to the academy where she did really well in terms of academia but her social skills tended to suffer somewhat because she was busy raising children as she was the zhavey for her children. When she graduated, she was assigned to go to the USS Courageous as one of their new Engineers and while she and her family settled in here, she displayed a quiet work ethic that was honestly second to none but she made it very clear that's he was raising four children alone so she was not going to work any stupid hours. Chief Engineer Lt Commander Michael Walshingham agreed as he had a young child of his own. In the end. Zh'Terran was selected to replace him after he was promoted to become Captain of Engineering on Earth Spacedock and she has remained here ever since, going with the crew from the USS Courageous when she underwent her twenty year refit up to state of the art. The crew went over to the new Pathfinder II class vessel, USS Song of the East with Rear Admiral Jake Yamaguchi commanding her, she has remained here in this position of Chief Engineer to this day and she's greatly enjoying this assignment. When the Song of the East went in for refitting to Renown class specs. She and the rest of the crew were reassigned to the Renown class USS Infinity, a year or so later she was promoted to Commander. |
