Mission: Mission 105: The Mirror, Shattered
Location: Various Locations - USS Infinity
Timeline: 1145Hrs - October 8th, 2393

The USS Infinity had already departed the rendezvous point and was now approaching her final destination, the portal. This mission had actually been quite short, but it had been graphic, violent and educational, for various reasons, many of them were things that many of the Infinity's crew would need to learn for themselves and process on their own time. Smithson regarded her commanding officer as she handed the small woman before her a PADD. "The damage report you asked for skipper, with your permission, I will send that to Vanguard's engineering personnel when we get home."

T'Shaamet nodded her head. "That sounds good to me Master Chief. Proceed," she responded before she turned her head to regard her science officer. "Alyssa, can we collapse the rift?"

"Negative Captain, not completely... We lack the energy reserves to do so... However, the USS Charal does not have our issues and she should be waiting for us on the other side of the rift..." she explained. "I have the entire package ready to send to them, it's a simple programming sequence that they will need to apply to their own systems, they will be ready to do it in ten minutes from receiving the files from us," Temetti explained with a smile on her lips.

"Very nice Commander," T'Shaamet answered with a nod of her head. "Heather, how far are we from our destination?"

"At present speed, four minutes, eight seconds." Walking Bear answered. "I can't wait to get home... I can take this horrible get up off and don a real uniform again." Walking Bear added. "It's bad enough my husband lusts over me while I'm wearing it but it also reveals a lot more then I had expected. I would honestly wear something like this to bed... Not on duty."

Horner nodded. "I know exactly how you feel... I think all the ladies aboard ship do," she commented.

"Speak for yourself, Sarah... I rather like this getup. I think it reveals my legs... and it also is less to take off later." T'Shaamet answered with a smile. "I might make it standard policy to wear this uniform."

"You would have a mutiny on your hands if you did." Kolar's voice rumbled across the bridge. "For me, at least the uniform compliments my looks, now all run in fear when I approach." his uniform was the usual top and pants except his top was a wraparound tunic which highlighted his massive physique, his arms were easily the size of his wife's thighs and he was simply physically large. This was the main fact his uniform emphasized.

Temetti smirked as she regarded her husband. "I think you would enjoy it a little too much, I will need to-" the small Asian woman grinned as she spoke.
"-curb your enthusiasm." she finished what she was saying as her eyes sparkled while she regarded her husband.

T'Shaamet regarded the entire conversation without emotion, she did not mind the banter as she knew it would be something that she would miss when this crew was to be broken up and sent onto new assignments. Amakawa meanwhile turned her head. "Preliminary scans show negative sir... There's nobody out here."

Duval turned his head as he regarded T'Shaamet. "That will not mean anything if we are detected by a random patrol." he reminded her. "We should be done with this soonest." he rumbled.

"Indeed," T'Shaamet answered. "Heather, time till arrival?." the small-framed Vulcan female asked.

"Arrival in six seconds..." Walking Bear answered in a light tone of voice.

"Alright," Horner commented as she mentally counted down the seconds, when suddenly the starlines snapped back to stars as the Infinity's warp drive was deactivated, the massive ship dropped out of warp and back to sublight speeds as the portal appeared before them, as they had never left it. "Helm, take us in and through at your leisure..." T'Shaamet commented. "Meslina, be ready with that answer to the challenge we know we'll get from the Charal."

"Aye Captain, taking us into the portal. Contact in eight seconds..." Walking Bear answered as she focused on her driving.

Amakawa nodded her head at the same time. "I have been ready with the Identity friend or foe challenge for the last week sir." she quipped.

Kolar found he could not fault the Trill's sense of duty, but he knew she was afraid, fear was sometimes a healthy thing but not at this point it wasn't. "The Charal will either accept us.. or they won't" he commented in a light tone.

The Infinity slowly moved through the portal and she was back in her native universe with the USS Charal waiting for them. Amakawa turned. "They are challenging us..."

"Answer the challenge," Horner answered. "Hopefully this works."

"They are standing down... We're being hailed. Captain Gilmore would like a word." Amakawa answered.

"Put the Captain on the screen." the small Vulcan stood up as she nodded. The image reverted to that of a Betazoid-looking female. "Infinity, its good to see you. Were you successful at accomplishing your mission?" she asked.

"Yes, Captain we were... We're sending you a data file, it'll allow you to close the portal. We believe that you and the Charal should have that honor, you have been waiting for us for over a week and you've been helpful in this assignment, so the honor.. is yours..." the small Vulcan explained. "Send them the file Meslina..." she commented.

"Sending now." the small Trill female commented. "Sent."

Gilmore nodded. "We have it... Nice work Infinity, you guys don't need to stick around and wait for us... We've been ordered to head out on patrol as soon as your mission was accomplished. Vanguard is expecting you. Again fine work on your mission... Gilmore out." and with that, the transmission was terminated and the view returned to the starfield. "Very well. Helm, set a course for Starbase Vanguard... Warp seven... Engage when you are ready Conn..."

Walking Bear nodded her head as she tapped in the destination and then she engaged the warp drive. The Infinity turned away from the Charal and departed as her warp engines activated and she flashed away into warp.
