Strengths & Weaknesses Strengths: she's very detail-oriented and can reason with others creatively, she can also use emotions in context, where most Vulcan's can't.

Weaknesses: she can become emotional when provoked, almost to the point of becoming enraged. Which for the uneducated can be downright terrifying.

Hobbies & Interests She'll try anything once.

Personal History Captain T'Shaamet or "Runt" as she is nicknamed was born on Kroedis II, a bustling Federation colony world in 2349 to Vulcan parents. She was to become the smallest of her four siblings and as such she would acquire the nickname 'Runt' from her human classmates a name that always confused her until someone explained it to her which still confused her, she simply did not see the emotional context of the nickname but when she did, she would regard it as an insult for many years afterward.

Her parents were traders and while they tried to instill the tenants of Vulcan civilization into their five children, they didn't quite succeed with T'Shaamet as she was a little more outgoing and as a result, she struggled with her emotional volatility for many years, even into adulthood.

T'Shaamet was misunderstood by many who simply saw her as someone who was a rebel without a cause and others feared her as she had gotten into one fight but she had sent the half dozen people involved to the town's hospital.

T'Shaamet grew up here often struggling with her emotional side until one day when she was nine years old, she was forced to embrace it because four youth's wanted blood from her for various offenses that she had apparently committed while in school. That was the rationale for what they were going to do to her.

The battle was long and quite bloody as everyone got hurt, even T'Shaamet herself who was outnumbered and outclassed by these four bullies but while she was the last one standing, she was also defeated because she had abandoned one of the core tenants of her civilization. Her parents had always taught her to think creatively and independently but now they were wondering if she needed to go back to Vulcan, to spend time with a master.

T'Shaamet requested otherwise and she fought for it using logic as she was able to rational the balance between both that she alone had established after the dust settled, she returned to her classroom studies with more dedication than ever before.

When T'Shaamet came of age, she graduated school and applied immediately for Starfleet academy, she was accepted and went off for the fall intake of 2366 and while there, she participated in the academy's deployment to face the Borg in 2367, she and her entire class was awarded the Grankite order of tactics, so was most of the students at the academy for various reasons. T'Shaamet first met Jake Yamaguchi here at this time along with many others who would become prominent in her later career.

T'Shaamet graduated in 2370 as an operations officer and she was assigned to the USS Dauntless, a Galaxy-class ship and it was here where she would learn a great deal about warfare and its aftereffects as she would fight the Klingons, the Cardassians, the Dominion, and the Borg while assigned to this ship, only departing the Dauntless in 2377. T'Shaamet would find the last few months of this assignment most disagreeable with her as she found a Vulcan to assist her with her pon far when it happened aboard this vessel. Immediately afterward she transferred off of the Dauntless and went over to the Carpathia.

Her next posting was the USS Carpathia, an older Akira class ship where she would remain for another year, the assignment was not too difficult as she found she had to tolerate many humans who regarded her as a sex symbol, she found the attention really quite disagreeable.

T'Shaamet stuck in for reassignment and found herself going over to the USS Courageous where she ran into Jake Yamaguchi and many of the people she knew from the academy, she found herself fitting in very well with this assignment and she could see herself remaining here, however her pon-far would come back to haunt her as she was unable to make it back to Vulcan in time to take a mate so she was forced to seek assistance from a family friend, in this case, it was with Jake Yamaguchi and the two had a son together.

T'Shaamet asked Jake not to acknowledge the child as his simply because it would have caused issues between Jake and his wife, in the end however her concerns were for naught as Torilla did not protest. Jake had shared the details with his wife well ahead of time Torilla thought the entire affair was rather romantic as she decided to try and get to know T'Shaamet and her that she and Jake both named Evoras for a family friend who had died in the line of duty. T'Shaamet thought it was most logical.

Torilla came to accept T'Shaamet as a family friend over the course of the Vulcan woman's pregnancy, she knew her husband had sacrificed for it to save her life and Torilla decided she would not make things harder then they needed to be for all concerned. The issue was because of the Plak'tow. The Blood and hormone imbalance which would eventually destroy her mind, her body, and her spirit.

In the end. T'Shaamet realized that she had overreacted to Jake's humanity in that he did care for her and her son, despite the fact that he was married to another. Jake felt responsible and so he helped T'Shaamet with her son in any way he could.

It was about the same time that she became involved with one of the ships medical officers, a man named Jackson Antilles and the two bonded quickly, they ended up marrying a year after they began dating. However before they could start their family, he disappeared into the dust of the universe with no explanation given. An investigation turned up no evidence of misdeeds or anything else really so he was given up for dead and T'Shaamet grieved for her lost mate. Never knowing his true fate bothered her and that issue was something she never truly got over.

T'Shaamet because the Chief Operations Officer a year later after the Chief was promoted and went off to his own command and when Neban was promoted to command the USS Avalon, taking his wife with him as his Chief Medical Officer, T'Shaamet was selected to become the Executive Officer with Commander Tirothyn R’Shav being promoted to Chief Medical Officer.

Since heading over to the USS Song of the East. T'Shaamet was elevated from Chief of Operations to Executive Officer and two years later in 2390 when Jake was finally forced to give up the Song of the East because he was the new head of Independent Fleet Operations.

T'Shaamet was promoted to Captain and she assumed command of the Song of the East, she knew she was inheriting a hell of a crew and today she continues as Captain of this mighty ship and she also raises her son here too.

When the Song of the East went in for refitting to Renown class specs. She and her crew were reassigned to the Renown class USS Infinity as Commanding Officer. Her son went with her and now she hopes at some point to reopen the case into her missing husband and mate as she had never truly accepted his fate, she always suspected that she had been lied to.

T'Shaamet never got the chance to reopen the case as she discovered her lost husband as well as several dozen others by chance when she liberated a prisoner convoy while attacking a Klingon held star system. She was reunited with her husband.

Commander Jackson Antilles also rejoined Starfleet and asked to serve on the same ship as his wife who did not protest, this was to replace Captain Tirothyn R'Shav who was reassigned elsewhere and around the same time, T'Shaamet herself was promoted to commodore to command the battlecruiser squadron of the first division of the ninety-second fleet under the command of her old friend, Paul Emerson before she was assigned to the Taurus Reach.
