Mission: Mission 105: The Mirror, Shattered
Location: Various Locations - USS Infinity / Retep Three
Timeline: 0920Hrs - October 7th, 2393

Colonel James Taggert smiled as he appeared on the planet surface, alongside the troops he had assigned for this mission. He was not interested in leaving the marines to execute this liberation alone and this was something that his troops understood and knew, he knelt as he examined the consignment of equipment that had been beamed down with them, he produced two rifles as he sluing one of them over his shoulders before he handed the second off to one of the privates who had come with him. "Thanks, skipper." as he settled into position to cover McTaggert. "Alright, these are ready to go," he commented. "Let's go."

The private nodded as McTaggert drew his rifle. "Let's move out." as he moved towards the combat area, the sounds of silence was punctuated every one in a while with the sounds of weapons fire, the ferocity seemed to be almost nonexistent. When suddenly the sounds of combat reached McTaggerts ears.

The combadge affixed to his chest beeped at him. "Sir, the second squad reports they have breached the main gates defences." as McTaggert nodded. "Push through in numbers guys..." he answered. "Remember to stun enemy guards and secure them." as he moved towards the entrance of the camp.

Meanwhile, at that same point in time, ten kilometres further west. Captain Ouros Yamaguchi smiled as she reached the bunker, her four troops followed in silence as she nodded. "Targets?" she asked of her marines.

"Two guards... They look bored." came the answer from one of her marines.

"Take em," Ouros answered quietly. "Make it quick," she added, as two phaser blasts impacted both guards and downed them both at the same time.

Ouros moved forward as she drew two grenades, she primed both and tossed them at the open door, one of them bounced and ricocheted around a corner while the other stopped and landed at the deck, both of them went off a moment later. Ouros moved into the bunker only to find that everyone within was downed, fortunately, they were not dead, as Ouros marked everyone present for relocation to an improvised jail, which was a tropical island over a thousand miles away.

The Infinity beamed out the prisoners as Ouros tapped the display, she then proceeded to hack into the system, the tall woman smiled as she activated the auto-destruct system, setting the system for five minutes, silent countdown. "Wyvern to Gryphon. Objective two is complete."

"Very nice Wyvern. Objective three is also complete. Head to the main objective and assist us with securing the camp." came the orders.

Ouros activated the system. The alert went off before announcing its intentions. "Let's go, guys," Ouros added as she exited the bunker, her four marines followed in silence as they began moving away across the planet's landscape, she led them across some rather rugged landscape before the large bunker that they had vacated suddenly blew itself apart in a truly impressive explosion.

Meanwhile, in the camp, McTaggert and a squad of marines performed a breach manoeuvre on the main building, before tossing in two flashbangs, both went off with a loud whump. McTaggert moved in as he proceeded to clear the building quickly, it was more of the same across the entire camp before the prisoners were located.

Enyo opened the first jail, she had two of her marines standing at the entrance. "You guys stand here and triage them, see who needs what. mark the prisoners as needed before sending them up to the Infinity for processing," she explained. "I'm going to go in there and find out where the other jails are." before she moved into the cells, she began opening doors as she directed the liberated prisoners over to the main entrance, one after another, she opened the cells and she did not find what she wanted.

"Head that way and see the marines waiting for you, we have a ship waiting," Enyo explained.

The two prisoners regarded her before nodding their heads and heading off, as Enyo cracked open another cell, she repeated herself for the umpteenth time. She knew this jail had two levels and other marines were opening other cells. Enyo quickly realized that this was an adult prison. "Where's the re-education camp?"

"It's up the hill Commander." came the answer. "Captain Yamaguchi?" the woman inquired of her. "Is... is that you?"

"It's me... Karen, what have they done to you?" Enyo whispered.

"We were slaves, nothing more..." Karen McWilliams answered softly. "The child camp is up the hill, along with the re-education camp... Last I heard, your children were there..."

"Let's get you out of here." Enyo finished opening the last of the cells in the lower levels. "Come on guys, follow me," she commented before she tapped her combadge. "Gryphon, this is Enyo. The first camp is secure... I'm going to assist with the second..."

"Confirmed," McTaggert answered. "Good hunting."

Enyo moved out the door, down the hall, and out the entrance. "Second, third and fourth squads, with me... Let's move!" Enyo called loudly as just over a dozen marines fell into line behind her. Enyo tapped her combadge. "Enyo to Infinity, beam me and the marines with me over to the second camp please..."

"Stand by for transport." came the response from the Infinity.
