Mission: Mission 50: This Grey Spirit
Location: Inside the HD-385784-2395 Star System
Timeline: 1600Hrs - November 20th, 2391

On the Bridge of the Courageous, the chaos of the last two hours was saying quite a lot as Torilla Yamaguchi regarded Daniel McKnight. "Talk to me Goose?"

"Lots of clutter out there." McKnight responded. "The collision between Planets six and seven is ten minutes away. We're gonna make history." McKnight responded with a smile. "This is wonderful."

Yamaguchi watched the insanity presently taking place on the screen as one small moon went screaming into the atmospheric maw of the second gas giant. "Wonderful isn't exactly the word I'd use." she looked at the scene taking place. "Tell Rawalpindi to break off and lead some of the other ships down to the site of the gate..." she paused. "Tell Ryazar's Shield to go with them... We'll be fine up here by ourselves."

Jiao nodded as she went to work. "The radiation is increasing.." she explained. "Ryazar's Shield sir, on screen."

Ryuukei answered the comm," Yeah what is it."

Torilla addressed Ryuukei. "Would you mind leading the rest of the group down the gravitational slope to where the USS pinto was lost.... We're going to remain here and chart the gravitational impact of the two planets..."

Ryuukei looked at her apprehensively, " In other words, you want to gawk at two planets smashing into each other, am I right."

Yamaguchi nodded, almost eager for the show that would soon be starting. "Oh yeah. I don't wanna miss this." she added cheerily.

Ryuukei sighed, then added," Probably best if one of the science ship is in front, their sensors are better for detecting random anomalies than ours are."

"Okay." Torilla agreed. "Contact the Rawalpindi, have them lead the rest of the group in."

Meanwhile on the bridge of the Rawalpindi. Captain L'Ruan raised an eyebrow as she turned her head as she looked at Paul Dragon. "Sir'we re being hailed... the Courageous is remaining up here while we're to lead everyone else in."

L'Ruan nodded. "Helm... take us in, steady as she goes.."

Ryuukei looked over at Lirvinx," How are our drones doing."

"Several have had to land for repairs, But otherwise we still have all of them. "Lirvinx reported."

Ryuukei nodded, " alright, well keep the remaining ones on patrol then."

Meanwhile on the Courageous's bridge. Torilla made herself comfortable. "Time?"

"Four minutes." McKnight answered. "I'm recording everything.."

Torilla and the rest of the crew watched the display on the screen before them as the two planets began to contort from sphere's and turn into egg shaped objects as they pulled closer and closer together, gasses from both worlds began to pull from one to the other as the first stages of the collision began.

McKnight watched the displays as the planets began to merge, the massive object began to swell up as the mass before there was a massive explosion as the two planets finished merging.

Ryuukei stopped paying attention to the planets after the collision occurred, instead focusing on keeping the ship on course. He looked over at Kasana," Any crazy anomalies show up yet."

Kasana shook her head," No nothing too serious yet."

Meanwhile back on the bridge of the Courageous. Torilla and her guys watched the collision with rapt fascination. "You get all of that?"

"Oh yeah." McKnight responded evenly.

Torilla nodded. "Drop a few class ten probes." she paused. "set them to remain here and record whatever we miss... then after a preset time... have them head out of the system and begin transmitting all of their data." Yamaguchi ordered.

"Aye skipper." he paused as he went to work. "Probes away.."

Torilla nodded her head as she sighed. "Alright... Helm, take us down to where the rest of the group is heading. One half impulse... and steady as she goes.." she looked at the tactical display with the several billion rock fragments from the side of a person's torso up the size of moons all flowing around.

As the group headed deeper in, Kasana reported," Well we are picking up an increasing number of subspace disturbances. Its causing some interference with our sensors."

Ryuukei nodded. "Alright, keep an eye on it."

Meanwhile back on the Courageous's bridge. Torilla narrowed her eyes as she watched the display. "This.... is getting interesting."
