| Personal History | Tracy was born in Sligo, Ireland where the rest of her family called home. She would be raised in a rather conservative household with traditional family values. In other words, she was a woman out of time as she was more or less from a time setting around 2000AD rather than 2350AD. Her parents didn't like replicators as they felt it was too easy to make things. Tracy felt stifled by the closeness of the community and she didn't like the fact that sometimes she would need to walk five minutes to school as it hurt her feet, also because her parents were unwilling to pay for a hovercar. She hated growing up so she applied to join Starfleet Academy as soon as she was able. Tracy joined up in 2363. Here she learned so much it was almost a heady rush for her mind to comprehend it all. she loved explosives and defusing them, the rush that came with it and the other daily activities of Starfleet life. She graduated in 2367, just in time for the battle of Wolf 359 when she was assigned to be the Alpha Shift pilot for the USS Goodson, a Nebula-class starship, this was an honor that thrilled the young woman but her assignment would come to naught as it as destroyed in the Wolf system she was lucky enough to escape with the vast majority of her crew, however, several members of her crew including Thomas Reyth were lost in action. Her next assignment was to the New Orleans class frigate. USS Thomas Paine and it was here that she showcased her various skills across many assignments. It was here where she met her husband and future father to her children. She earned a couple of medals and a couple of promotions for various actions saving others and saving situations from going to war but her time on the Thomas Paine ended in 2370 and she was reassigned. Her husband simply followed her across to the USS Vel'dna Her third assignment was to the USS Vel'dna where she showcased her skills again, but it was also here that she gave birth to her eldest child, a girl she named Traci, with the 'I' instead of the 'Y'. it was something a little different but her husband was fine with it. She would have two more children before things necessitated her switching her view from family to war. The conflict with the Dominion Broke out in early 2374 as Tracy sent her husband and children home to Earth so she could focus on her efforts. Her efforts were by far and large success as she helped to win the war against the Dominion, though they paid for it with hundreds of millions of lives and two brutally long years. Tracy retained her command as she brought her children back to her and then she had one more two years after the war ended. She would remain here for the next fifteen years, making this a home and her crew became something of an extended family. Tracy remains in command of the USS Ishtar to this day with her husband and children beside her. Early in 2392, the USS Ishtar was decommissioned as she was unable to be refitted with the newer technology that was going into the new ships. Her crew was assigned to the newly commissioned USS Ishtar, a Kumari class ship and she went along as their commanding officer but she was assigned a new Exec to replace the old one who was earning her own command. |
