Operation Bedlam: Stronger than we Thought

Mission: Mission 44: Operation Bedlam
Location: Planet Surface - Lobox VII
Timeline: 0930Hrs October 6th 2391

Ryuukei, Weyai, Aerin and Kasana took off and went on their own. After destroying several bunkers, they came upon the fallen assault company. Weyai couldn't help but look in frustration. "What a senseless slaughter, so many young men and women, cut down in the prime of their lives, because of someone whom was an idiot."

Ryuukei himself was fuming at this point, "Who cares, we don't need these weaklings, let them stay out here and distract the enemy, we will deal with this on our own."

Weyai looked at her brother, it was rare that she had seen him get like this. Kasana then added," Well, our medical technology is a lot more advanced than the federation, we do have the ability to revive the dead, at least, as long as its not more than 48-72 hours.

Aerin then added, "As long as they haven't taken a headshot."

Ryuukei didnt say anything as they walked to an open hole in the fortress. Where three marines laid, all with holes in their heads. One Reman popped out and attempted to fire, But Aerin blasted him away before he had the chance. Ryuukei looked over and noticed four marines, all dead from headshots, again. He then walked over to another group of dead marines.

"What is it Ryuukei," Weyai asked.

Ryuukei investigated these bodies, all down with headshot's too. "This is odd, all these marines have been hit with headshots, that's not typical."

Weyai and Aerin both looked around as well. Almost every body they saw had a head wound of some kind, "Yeah, your right," Weyai finally said.

Aerin was puzzled," But what does it mean."

Ryuukei stared at one of the bodies," I don't know."

Kasana looked at the Bunker, "well we shouldn't dwell on it too long, Lets get moving."

All four Kurokuri quickly moved into the fortress, not wasting any more time outside.

The group of Kurokuri moved along without too much difficulty, when an energy blast came out of nowhere, Ryuukei and Weyai both dodging the shot. Ryuukei looked up, and noticed a humanoid figure, just hovering in the air. He couldnt tell what species the guy was, thanks to the full suit of power armor he was wearing.

"Did the romulans have this technology," Kasana Inquired."

"They do now," Weyai replied, not taking her eyes off the soldier.

Suddenly, the soldier fast teleported right next to ryuukei, hand raided up, he fired an energy blast, which Ryuukei just barely managed to avoid. Ryuukei responded by putting up both hands and firing an energy blast of his own. Weyai, Aerin, and Kasana responded by throwing their own energy blasts, but to the shock of all four Kurokuri, The Soldier stood there unphased, an energy shield glowing.

Ryuukei growled," Should have figured he wouldn't go down that easy."

The soldier then responded by firing off more energy blasts, which all four kurokuri managed to either dodge or deflect with their own energy shields. It was then that Ryuukei noticed more. Looking beind him he shouted, "Aerin look out."

Aerin just barely managed to dodge the punch from a second soldier, the soldiers punch hitting the ground instead and making a sizeable crater.

"we have three more incoming," Ryuukei announced.

Weyai sighed," Well, I guess we have little choice.

Kasana and Ryuukei both nodded and all three of them began to gather energy. Within a second a subtle, blue aura appeared around them, prompting Aerin to comment," Dammit, If only I hadn't slacked off, Id still be able to use power form."

Ryuukei nodded," Don't worry about it, We got you covered."

The power armored Reman's wasted little time in resuming their attack, however with the Kurokuri in their powered up forms, They where able to take the the Reman's far more easily. Within a few minutes, the Reman's where on the ground, either unconscious or dead.

Ryuukei was onyl breathing lightly, "Well that went well."

Weyai nodded, but she had that feeling that they where being watched.

Virashek's attention turned to the four intruders in the stronghold. He had never seen these powers before, nor was he familiar with their species. But he could feel their power, they where strong. But not too strong for him.

Weyai looked up, "Looks like we got more company."

Two massive beings appreared, from what Ryuukei could tell they where about 3 meters tall. Upon closer inspection He realized they where large suits of power armor, and he could sense that they where stronger than the others. Wasting no time, Ryuukei put his hands together and sent a massive energy blast at one of the Power armored suits. The blast impacted but was immediately absorbed by an energy shield. Both Suits returned fire, and the Kurokuri barely had time to get out of the way. Weyai, Kasana and Aerin all avoided the blast But Ryuukei got hit. His own shelds took the brunt of the blast, but not without being heavily drained. He managed to evade the second shot.

All four Kurokuri returned fire, but found their own energy blasts insufficient to penetrate their shields.

Ryuukei gave a low growl, "should have figured those things wouldnt go down easily."

Weyei didnt take her eyes off the suits, suggesting," Well, we might need level 2 after all."

Ryuukei nodded, then looked at Kasana. She merely reponded by shaking her head, and ryuukei looked back at his opponents," Well Weyai, looks like its up to us."

Both of them began to gather more energy, and then within an instant, a flash of light appeared, and sparks of electricity appeared around Ryuukei and weyai, signalling the activation of their Level 2 forms. The Remans hesitated only briefly, then continued to open fire, However, ryuukai and Weyai where now having a far easier time avoiding their attacks. Kasana and Aerin both pulled back to a safer distance, deciding to wait for their opportunity.

the opportunity came sooner than later, when ryuukei and Weyai combined their attacks, disabling the energy shields on one of the suits. Their follow up blasts hit the suit directly but failed to penetrate their armor. Kasana and Aerin took their opportunity, and attacked from behind, hitting the weaker rear armor of the suit, they successfully severed primary power cables and knocked out the power supply. causing the suit to freeze in place, then fall over.

Ryuukei was breathing heavily at this point," Well that's one down."

The second reman, the grabbed the arm of his fellow comarade, then firing the rockets on his own suit, he took to the sky, leaving the kurokuri behind.

"Well, that was eventful," Weyai commented."

Virashek quietly observed these events from their command center, the inruders proved stronger than he anticipated. Those where his most powerful combat suits, and he only had just the two, However he wasn't concerned as he reached out with his own abilities, going for what he saw as the strongest.

Ryuukei suddenly felt a massive fog come over his head, and was if acting on its own accord, his arm raised, pointing at Weyai. His AI, Rynn, had just enough time to shout, "Weyai, watch out."

Weyai acted on instinct, just barely avoiding the energy blast that was fired out of Ryuukei's hand."

"What the hell Ryuukei, have you lost it."

Ryuukei bot both hands on his head, crying out in pain as he fell to his knees, he just managed to say," No.... Something... its attacking my mind..."

Kasana looked in horror, while Rynn managed to inform Weyai, "Its a telpathic assault, someone is trying to control him."

Virashek paused. This was an unexpected development. It was as if two beings where inhabiting the alien. He exerted greater effort on Ryuukei, but Rynn fought back, "You, get out of our Head."

Virashek could feel his control slipping, he was being pushed out!. He now had no choice, he could no longer distract himself with controlling others. If he was to take control of ryuukei, he would need to put all his effort into it, and he needed to control that second being as well. Pushing his abilities to the limits, he began to invade Rynn as well, and after a brief struggle, he finally realized what he was dealing with. "I see, your an AI, but a very advanced one, And your the one whom regulates his power."

Rynn could only scream at this point as she too was taken over. Weyai looked at her brother, still on his knee's, not moving.

Weyai went to put her hand on his shoulder, but just in time she jumped out of his way as he threw his nad up and fired another energy blast at her. "Ryuukei?"

Ryuukei stood up, and in an erie voice, one that was his, and yet wasnt at the same time," resounded, No little one, I am not your dear brother."

Weyai, desperate, sent a message to Kasana and Aerin, through her own AI, "You two, find this guy, take him out, I'll hold him off."

Kasana and Aerin both took off, but Virashek tried to stop then, by firing an energy blast, but Weyai got in the way, Deflecting the blast and sending it up in the air. "Go, now."

Kasana and Aerin quickly took off, heading deeper into the compound. It was then that Weyai send a message to everyone on an open channel, "Guy's, there is a telepath on the battlefield, and a damn powerful one too. he has the ability to invade peoples minds and take them over, he is the one whom is responsible for all the friendly fires that have been occurring, Be very careful."

Tienn took aim as she heard the announcement moments later. "Fantastic." she responded. " then she shot one of the Orion's who was moving around through the chest. "Dreamcrushers marines. Pull back.. we're outclassed and our guys are dropping like flies.." she sighed. "Miami, Miami, this is Coldsteel. Fire mission over?"

"This is Miami fire control. Go ahead with coordinates over?"

"Weichang!" Rohr shouted over her comm. "Are you there?"

"Weichang here. We are in cover. Were getting shot at by our own side!" Weichang told Rohr.

"Ya, some telepaths were doing that." Rohr replied. "They were taken care of."

"So we should start the assault again?" Weichang asked.

"Negative!" Rohr shouted. "The Miami is about to hit a fire mission on the stronghold. Stay put. I repeat, stay in cover!"

"Roger that!" Weichang responded. She didn't need a lot of persuasion to stay in cover.

Weyai briefly stared at her brother, and he stared back. Weyai could tell it wasnt really her brother in control, but she still had a hard time bringing herself to fight him. It was then that Ryuukei said in that Errie voice," Sorry, you will have to excuse me, I have something I have to do first."

Before Weyai could act a transporter beam activated, transporting Ryuukei from Weyai's Position to where Major Bix and his command team where located. Before anyone could react Ryuukei sent an energy blast into Staff Sergeant Kawabe, piercing him through the chest. As the others turned their weapons on him, using his abilities, he caused the power cells in everyone's phasers to short out, disabling all their weapons.

"Take cover!" Bix yelled. "Don't let that thing shot you!" Bix then got on his comm. "Bix to Akurians: one of your personnel is engaging our forces!"

Weyai got the message, at least it told her where her brother was located. Taking to the air, she moved as fast as she could to his location. Ryuukei meanwhile, blasted several other marines, however he was about to resist the mind control just enough to avoid inflicting fatal injuries, prompting Virashek to comment through Ryuukei," So, it appears I am not entirely in control of this body, oh well, just need a little more persuasion."

Ryuukei then, with his high speed, appeared right next to Bix and Devon, one hand pointing at each of them. A glowing ball of energy appeared in each hand while he said," So, you two like to execute your own men and send them on senseless headlong charges into the meatgrinder. Huh, I didn't think the federation had officers like you two, your just like the Romulan's that hold my people captive. I think I'd be doing the federation a favor by removing your pathetic lives."

Devon fell back away left Bix alone. Bix for his part was oblivious to the danger he was in. "I'm following orders from my commander." Bix told Ryuukei. "If he tells me I'm to die here than I shall die here." Bix's words may have been correct but did not help the marines watching nearby. Bix just came off as the blind fanatic that he his.

"Then your commander is a blind fool too," Ryuukei replied, and just as he was about to fire, Weyai caught up to Ryuukei and knocked his arm away, just as he released his energy attack. The beam grazed Nix in the arm, while Weyai, got behind Ryuukei and got him in an armlock.

Ryuukei growled," You really dont know when to quit do you."

Weyai didn't reply, and taking Ryuukei with her, she flew off into the distance, away from the other marines.

On the other side of the stronghold Rohr moved her marines around to support the main effort. The barrage from the Miami seriously weakened the defenses. Rohr hoped to link up with Weichang to reduce casualties while Tienn entered the stronghold.

In the rocks two of Tienn's marines decided that they have had enough of the fight. LaJae and Mathews were hiding in the rocks and well away from the fighting. "Your a pussy Mathews." LaJae told him.

"Your running from the fight too." Mathews retorted.

"No, I'm different." LaJae defended himself. "I'm not combat qualified so I really shouldn't be here. Your just a pussy."

"Neither am I!" Mathews raised his voice. "I'm a propulsion tech. I got sent here as punishment. You were sent here because your a dumb fuck and too stupid to do anything but shoot a weapon. And even at that you suck."

"Shut up!" LaJae screamed. "I am too smart. I'm totally smart. I'm the smartest person on this rock!" he yelled at Mathews. LaJae's yelling attracted the attention of a crag leopard. The large cat easily approached the two who were busy yelling at each other.

The crag leopard pounced and grabbed Mathews in it's large maw. Mathews screamed "Help me!" to LaJae but he had already thrown down his weapon and was running away screaming.

After the crag leopard made short work of Mathews it saw half of its meal running away. It gave chase and was shortly on top of LaJae. The big cat had LaJae in its mouth. The creature couldn't compensate for LaJae's large amount of weight and the two slide down the side of a ravine. The crag leopard got caught up in a cluster of rocks. For a moment LaJae was suspended by his equipment and cloths that were in the cat's mouth. The cloths then ripped away and LaJae tumbled down the ravine.

LaJae got up, completely nude save for his boots and started to run back to the marines. As he approached Tienn and the rest of the Dreamcrusher marines he screamed at the top of his lungs. The whole unit saw his fat body jiggling and his arms flailing in panic.

Tienn raised an eyebrow as she looked up. "Uhh... dear prophets. I think I've gone... blind..." as someone nearby fired off his rifle once. Tienn opened her eyes to see LaJae sprawled out on the ground, half buried in the mud. "Tag him and bag him.... please?" the small Bajoran woman lead her troops forward.

As they got some distance away from the fight, Ryuukei managed to break free of Weyai. " Well, I guess I'll just have to deal with you first."

Weyai prepared herself as best she could. She knew she wasn't as strong as Ryuukei, but her level 2 form was just about as strong as his, and from what she could tell, the person mid controlling him wasn't fully aware of the extent of his abilities. However, she knew, if he used level 3, she wouldn't stand a chance.

Come on Ryuukei, I know your in there, you can hear me right."

Ryuukei interrupted, "Oh he is in here, and can hear you, but your little friend has no control at all." He threw a strong energy attack at Weyai, whom countered with her own attack, deflecting Ryuukei's.

Ryuukei then started throwing a barrage of energy blasts, but Weyai was able to deflect or dodge the incoming attacks, though her shelds where forced to take a few hits. However her own counter attacks where weak and easy for Ryuukei to deflect. Despite the situation, Weyai simply could not bring herself to hurt her brother.

Meanwhile Braelynn Di'Tomasso slowly blinked her eyes, her body acting almost of its own accord as she felt like she was watching a home movie. "Okay... Reman acquired..." there was something in her tone as she softly slurred her words. "Set?"

Odessa smiled as she rammed a new magazine home. "Whenever you're ready.... bone him baby."

Braelynn smiled as she pulled the trigger, sending a twenty millimeter round downrange towards Bix, the round impacted with enough force to shatter Bix's physical body, that was assuming the heat impacted from the kinetic force of the round didn't vaporize a hole through him.

Needless to say his head vanished along with a good chunk of his torso as the blood and guts splattered against the back wall where Bix was huddled with another three or four wounded marines who were more or less helpless.

Mickturd Bremer and Krotch mitch, whom had both somehow managed to avoid being killed in combat, mostly by being cowards, saw bix's body explode, and promptly screamed, dropped their weapons and ran away, in the direction of Dreamcrushers marines. They soon ran straight onto the nude Lajae, and all three of them fell over and landed in the mud. The final insult to injury came in the form of a stray energy blast from Ryuukei and weyai's fight, which landed near the three of them, singing all their hair off and burning up the majority of Bremer's and Mitch's uniforms.

Tienn sighed in disgust. "Really... what is it with these beachballs.?" she asked anyone around her before one of the two lifted a large clod of wet mud and hurled it at Tienn. It impacted and splattered against her chest, the force of the impact knocking her down.

The small Bajoran woman landed with a soft huff as the wind left her lungs. "Bastards.." she growled as she hauled herself back to her feet. "How the fuck do you two fuckers live when half my marines are dead!?" as she gave up. "Alright, move up by twos." as she gave the order to advance.

The Akurian tank, with Chalan riding on top of it approached, firing several rounds into the Reman positions, whom only returned fire very sporadically then ceased firing. After asking for reports from above, Chalan mentioned," Well looks like the Remans and Orions have had enough, they are falling back."

Tienn sighed softly. "Prophets be praised." she responded quietly. "Lets move up!" she called to her guys that were clustered around the area.

Suddenly, two powered armored Reman's showed up, and fired multiple energy blasts at the marines and the akurian Tank. Varkon opened fired with his own assault phaser, but then, one of the reman's hit him with a powerful disruptor beam. The beam pierced straight through his chest and went out his back, and he went down like a bag of bricks.

Chalan was the first to notice Varkon go down," FUCK, he then shouted at the tank commander. "Fire at the remans, NOW."

The Akurian tank commander obliged and opened fire on the remans, but they managed to avoid getting hit, then they began attacking the other marines.

The Remans started to shoot at the unprotected marines in front of the stronghold. Wiechang tried to rally her marines but is shot down by a Reman. The marines tried to shot at the power armor but the shots were harmless.

Werner put his marines in cover and had them engage the power armor with isomagnetic Disentegrators. Several of the Remans go down before the last armored Reman. turns and fires on Werner's squad. After the explosions stop all the squad lay still on the ground.

Rohr cursed. The armored Reman started to whittle down her marines.

"I'll get its attention!" Vaal shouted. "You plant a demo charge on it!"

With that Vaal stood up and started to rapid fire her phaser on the armor. The Reman faced Vaal and shot a grenade at her. She dived for cover as the grenade exploded.

Rohr moved behind the armor quickly and planted the charge on the back of the armored Reman. The Reman turned around and quickly grabbed Daisy by her arms. The Reman then crushed her arms and dropped the screaming Rohr to the ground.

The Reman moved off to kill more marines when the charge went off. A corporal rallied the marines and they moved into the stronghold.

The tank opened fired on the strongholds walls, knocking a large hole in the wall allowing the marines to get though. Unfortunately Chalan didn't notice Daisy go down, as he led the assault from the tank. Kasana and Aerin, whom where much deeper in the stronghold, noticed that the Remans and orions where in full retreat, so they said over the Comm," Hay it looks like our enemy is in full retreat, where too though, I'm not sure yet."

Devon and the surviving marine NCOs on the surface rounded up any marine in fighting condition. The NCOs took the remaining marines into the stronghold to link up with Captain Tienn. Devon stayed on the surface. After the conscious wounded marines were treated medics down to assist Tienn's force. A few medics protested but they all obeyed under the threat of a phaser.

Devon looked over the wounded. He found Rohr wounded next to several unconscious marines.

"Sergeant Major," Daisy weakly spoke. "We need medical attention."

Devon just smiled. "Your arms are broken?" He asked.

"Yes." Daisy struggled to talk. "Get the medics over here."

Devon laughed. "You disobeyed Colonel Nye."

"What?" Rohr asked. "Obey your orders Sergeant Major and fetch the medics."

"Oh, I'm going to obey orders." Devon replied. "Just not from a coward like you." Devon then pulled off a hand grenade and placed it in Rohr's wounded hand. He put her broken fingers around the grenades spoon.

"What the hell are you doing?" Daisy asked.

"You won't be able to hold the spoon for very long. You can think about your crimes until you're too weak to hold." Devon then pulled the pin and dropped it a few inches out of Daisy's grasp.

"No, please don't." Daisy pleaded as Devon smiled and left. Daisy yelled out for help but everyone around her was unconscious or dead. Daisy cried out again. Finally, Vaal groaned in pain.

"Olga! Olga get up!" Daisy yelled.

Vaal groaned again. "Stop yelling." Vaal replied in a weak voice.

"Olga! Olga please get up." Daisy yelled. "if you don't we are going to die!"

Olga lifted her head. Her face was covered in blood and her eyes were blood shot. "What! How?" She weakly replied.

"There is a grenade in my hand!" Rohr told her in a near panic. "I can't get the pin back in!"

Vaal groaned again and then dragged herself with one arm up to Rohr. Olga struggled to use her uninjured arm to hold onto the grenade. With her mouth Olga picked up the pin and replaced it.

"Stupid officers." Olga moaned. "Try and not use anymore hand grenades." Obvious Olga thought that Daisy is the one you dropped the pin.

Rohr was too exhausted to tell Olga what really happened. "Olga, please tap my comm badge so I can can call for help." Olga complied and promptly passed out. Daisy called for help and the two were beamed out with Olga still holding the hand grenade.

Devon looked over the marine casualties. He spotted Werner among the bodies. Devon went over and lifted up Werner by his collar. Devon pulled his knife and put the blade up to Werner's neck. Werner opened his eyes.

"Oh good," Devon told Werner. "You'll be awake to hear your half-breed commander die." Devon turned and expected a grenade to go off. Instead, he say a transport beam flash.

"What the hell?" Devon asked. Frustrated he looked back at Werner. "No matter, your gonna die on this rock asshole." He then looked down to see that Werner had grabbed the blade of the knife. "No!" a shocked Devon cried out. "You suppose to die!"

Devon dropped Werner and tried to use his other hand to gain control of the knife. Werner used his free hand to grab Devon's shoulder and pull himself up. Devon pulled the knife free. He swung the knife wildly and slashed Werner across the face and chest.

With his left arm Werner grabbed Devon's hand with the knife in it. Werner then punched Devon repeatedly in the face. Devon tried in vain to block the blows but failed. He collapsed to his knees. His face was covered in blood. Werner continued to beat him.

Werner then twisted his arm until he heard Devon's bones crack. Devon cried out in pain and dropped his knife. With his good arm, Devon reached for his pistol. Werner easily pulled it away.

"You know, I promised to kill you." Werner told Devon.

"Then why don't you just do it." Devon whined.

"Because I changed my mind." Werner replied. "i want to see you get busted down to private and suffer the humiliation of a court martial. You'll get to see the face of everyone you hurt and they'll know what type of guy you really are. And when you are sitting alone on a prison world you'll know what type of wretched human you are."

Meanwhile on the bridge of the USS Ericsson. Commander Carrie Hawkwood watched the scene unfold with fascination, she had not expected such stupidity from the Marine officers aboard the Argonne but also she had not expected the mutiny either. "Any more fire missions?"

"Negative skipper."

"Alright." Hawkwood responded quietly as she shifted her body ever so slightly while she sat in her command chair. "We do have one extraction request however. One guy to be beamed into the brig."

"Alright.. do it. have security standing by."

"Aye sir." as the Chief Petty Officer in charge of the ships small security detail went about seeing to the skippers order. "Security team dispatched."

Hawkwood nodded her head, her attention drawn back to the tactical display on the viewscreen.

Both Ryuukei and Weyai where breathing quite heavily at this point, having battled intensely this entire time. Virashek now was concerned. He himself was beginning to Tire, and as a result his control over Ryuukei was weakening. He needed to end this fight quickly. Controlling Ryuukei, he began to gather as much energy as he could control. Weyai knew this was trouble. With the sheer amount of energy ryuukei was gathering, she knew she couldn't deflect or take that, she had to avoid it. So she promptly fell back to puty as much distance as possible, but to her frustration, Ryuukei followed.

An instant before Ryuukei released his energy attack, he teleported very close to Weyai, then fired. Weyai put her arms up in vain, but it was too much for her. Se managed to redirect some of the energy, but she took the majority of the blast, which shattered her shields, and hit her square in the stomach in a bright flash of light.

Moments later, Weyai fell to the ground, a large hole where her stomach used to be, and Ryuukei, still under Virashek's control, approached. But then, Virashek himself, had a flashback. he remembered the sight of his own brother, forced by the romulan guards to kill his own brother with his own hands. No, he couldn't bring himself to force that kind of pain on someone else. His control slipped, and something in Ryuukei snapped, as if a fog lifted. The smell of his own sister's blood, the sight of her lying helpless, he refused to be under control any longer, and with a loud scream, Virashek's hold over Ryuukei broke.

It took a moment for Ryuukei to fully process what was happening. Weyai was no longer moving, and Ryuukei couldn't hear her breathing. Ryuukei's primal instincts had taken over. When he broke Virashek's control he learned the location of the reman, and now fully enraged, he powered up to level three, and charged straight towards Virashek. His speed was so great, he appeared only as an energy bolt in the sky, flying straight for the middle of the stronghold. Not even the walls where an obstacle, as he blasted clean through them.

Withinn an instant, Ryuukei blasted through the wall of the control Room. Blasting several Orions and Remans out of the way, Ryuukei charged straight at Virashek, but before he could land a hit, Ryuukei's energy finally exhausted. His powerform dissipated, indicating he was out of energy, and Virashek, didn't waste the opportunity. Using the energy projector on his suit, he fired at Ryuueki, punching clean through his weakened energy shields, the beam went through his torso and out his back, and Ryuukei dropped like a brick.

Virashek looked around at the Surviving Orions and Remans, a couple whom where approaching Ryuukei, "Leave him, he is not our priority, lets get out of here."

The orions and remans acknowledged, and along with Virashek, they where gone only moments later.

Ryuukei was only barely conscious, but he was now aware he was alone.

The fighting had ceased entirely outside. Nightstar then said over the comm," Well, we have gone through much of the Stronghold now, no remans or Orions left though, looks like they have retreated."

Arumi, whom was up on the battlecruiser had Lirvinx scan the base, whom then reported," yeah, your right, no reman or orion lifesigns remain in the area, looks like their gone."

Chalan was the one whom said what everyone was thinking," But how."

It was Kasana to be the one to present the answer," I think I got the answer to that one." As she found herself staring at an active Iconian gateway.

"An Iconian gateway.... and here I was thinking those were just myths... stories told by old warriors standing round the glowlamp."
Tienn stated as she came around the corner, with a half dozen of her marines. "Spread out, secure this area." she said quietly.

The marines hurried to comply with her command while Tienn approached the others gathered before the portal. "Impressive tech.. I wonder if we'll ever be able to use something like this for ourselves." the small Bajoran inquired as she took in the sights.

Aerin made his way up to where Ryuukei was. Seeing him on the ground in a pool of his own blood, Aerin rushed over and checked Ryuukei, finding that he was barely alive. Wasting no time he opened a comm channel. "I have a medical emergency, need to have Ryuukei transported out immediately."

Siaxx's voice came back. "Stand by for transport." before Ryuukei was beamed away. "Its a right mess up here.."

Aerin soon found Weyai, whom was also in critical condition and had her beamed up.

Meanwhile on Ryazar's Shield, Lirvinx contacted Tranquility saying. " Hey, we are sending over our own medical personnel and some equipment to help you guys out."

Siaxx's voice came back. "Sounds good. we're up to our ears in bodies over here... its a right mess or so we're hearing."

Meanwhile in sickbay it was organized chaos as Lt Commander Stephanie Bell was working on a sucking chest wound. "Shit. I'm losing this one." as she fought to stabilize her paitent.

Staff Sergeant William Ramirez was sitting on a biobed with a Doctor tending to his wrist. "Stop moving around."

"Stop hurting me." Ramirez responded quietly.

Anzan walked into the sickbay with numerous Akurian medics, asking the person whom he figured was in charge," How can we help."

Siaxx indicated three separate areas. "help those guys." she responded quietly. "We're up to our ears in wounded... help out where you can... I'll be grateful for any aid you can offer."
