Mission: Mission 64: Mortal's Chiefest Enemy
Location: AQ-2834-474-Ab also known as Dylans World
Timeline: 1000Hrs - February 13th, 2392

Commander McKnight watched as the Federation native force in the system began rallying for a counter-attack on the local Klingon forces that had clearly been at this assault for a while but what felt odd to McKnight was that these were not regular Klingon Defense Force ships but more they looked and acted like private houses ships.

"Anything?"

"I'm just reading battle debris... I need a science officer for this.." Lieutenant T'Lee Duval growled.

McKnight turned to Yamaguchi. "Wait... Do we have a science Chief?"

"No, sir."

Just then Lieutenant Kameron Yamaguchi's voice rang out. "Sir. I'm reading a slight but elevated surge in tachyon particles, bearing one five two mark six... It's a Klingon warship." he reported as if stating the obvious.

McKnight shared a look with Yamaguchi, she nodded. "Kameron, you are acting Science Chief until further notice."

"I'll get the paperwork started... after this song and dance," Yamaguchi added a moment later.

"Yessir," Yamaguchi responded as he went to work at his new post and his new duties.

"Isabella. Could you extend an invitation to come out and play?" McKnight inquired of the attractive looking Latina who was standing behind and to his right.

Rojas targeted the Klingon ship as she blasted it with a single phaser blast, as expected its cloak failed and the ship began to maneuver, however, she quickly put it down with a blast to its port warp nacelle and a second blast to its main impulse reactor, which caused the reactor to undergo the beginning stages of meltdown, the Klingons reacted by ejecting it and Dreamcrusher demolishing it, producing a sizeable explosion that further crippled the Klingon ship.

"Isabella. disable all Klingon ships we encounter from this point... We might end up liberating prisoners.."

"Yessir." the lithe female responded as she went to work.

McKnight smiled. "Scorch are your troops in position?" he inquired of his marine commanding officer

"They are." came the response.

"Very well. Commence Operation: Marathon." McKnight smiled, clearly, a few people got the reference to the ancient battle on Earth with the same name.

"Commencing." Scorch responded, he turned to his troops. "You guys set?"

"Ready sir." as the man tapped the display on the 'package'. "Send in the package Chief."

"Willdo." and with that, the man energized. "Heh... and... wait for it.." the man responded. "There. the package is on-site and... has just detonated. Ohh I'd say half the Klingon ship felt that.."

"Good.. beam us over. Marines.. form up." as Scorch drew his rifle and took a moment to prepare. "Energize." and he was beamed over into hell itself as the marines around him, began moving out, quickly securing the room they were in before they placed a det-charge on the door. "CLEAR!" someone called out before the door simply shattered outward, with marines right behind it, they drilled three Klingon personnel with phaser fire as they tackled the forth and subdued him quickly.

The marines following quickly secured the Klingon as they sent him back to Dreamcrusher, the Marines meanwhile were pressing towards Engineering and the main hold, there moments later Scorch located several hundred prisoners, all of them looked human even if they were different looking, considering many of them were well over six foot in height and many were extremely muscular. The men all looked powerfully built and the women looked tall and extremely strong too.

One of the females peered down at Scorch as she was almost a foot taller then he himself was. "Hello.. and who might you be?"

"I'm Scorch."

"Scorch... Interesting name... What's the matter?". You're mother not like you or something?" the massive woman responded.

"It's my callsign... Right, I need you guys to prepare for evacuation... We're here to save you."

"You hear that. We're saved." the tall woman yelled. "My name is Kelly Shaddock."

"A pleasure Miss Shaddock." Scorch responded as he tapped his combadge. "Dreamcrusher... The main hold is secured.. I have several hundred people to need help being relocated.."

"We're on it." as Shaddock turned. "We're about to get evacuated to the Federation ship... Will they seek to put us to the sword this time?"

"What?" Scorch responded with such surprise that she almost laughed. "We are augmented humans, cooked up in a lab to fight the Dominion." the tall female explained.

"That's unimportant to me at this point." Scorch responded. "As for the Federation's augment laws, they are more of a taboo at this point anyway... Besides.. life is still life, does it matter where it comes from?"

Shaddock and the others all regarded him with odd and funny looks as someone said. "I don't know that guy is.. but I like him!" as Shaddock smiled down at him. "You might get somewhere with us Mister Scorch of the Federation Marines..."

"Right... Now please everyone, assemble for evac." Scorch called, the people began doing so. "Dreamcrusher. Proceed with evacuation.. then start evacuating the marines present."

"Yessir. right away." came the response as the transporters began beaming out the prisoners from the hold, quickly emptying it and leaving nobody behind.

Scorch turned as he departed the hold. "Dreamcrusher, scorch again... are there any prisoners left?"

"Negative... Just you and the last few marines."

"Alright... Send over the demolitions package as you beam us out... no sense keeping something that's worthless.."

"Understood. Energizing now." and with that Scorch was beamed away with his last few marines that were in harms way, what replaced them was a heavy quantum missile that was just moments from detonating, which it did, separating every part of the ship from every other part, this had the side effect of reducing the Klingon ship to its constituent atoms.

Meanwhile, on the starbase, Commander James Munroe smiled. "Nice... Now Dreamcrusher needs to leave.." he turned to his coms officer. "Hail them..."

"On screen sir."

McKnight regarded Munroe as he suspected what was to come, the man wasted no time in telling Dreamcrusher what he wanted from them and McKnight said. "No. I'm not going anywhere.."

Munroe sighed. "Fine, then you leave me no choice.."

Orianna looked down at her display. "Sir.. we're breaking orbit. Heading out of the system and.. I'm locked out."

McKnight regarded Munroe. "You do not want to make an enemy of me Commander.. as that.. will be your last mistake."

Lieutenant Kameron Yamaguchi meanwhile located the source of the feed. "As I expected, they are hacking in using the prefix codes via the com system."

McKnight turned to Rojas, to her credit she didn't hesitate as Dreamcrusher opened fire on the Starbase, one single phaser blast that crippled their communications array.

Orianna tapped the display. "I have control back..." she paused. "Thank you, Lieutenant."

"No trouble at all.." Yamaguchi responded.

McKnight regarded Yamaguchi. "Number one.. Could you take an away team and head planetside and start the ball rolling.. I'll remain here and deal with whatever might arise."

"Yessir. I'll handle it." as the pregnant woman tapped her combadge. "Bridge to Scorch, bring one of the liberated prisoners and yourself to transporter room two, we're going planetside."

"I'm on my way... and I know just who to bring."

"Sounds good. I will see you shortly." Yamaguchi responded. "Yamaguchi to Dragon?"

Dragon's voice came back. "I'm here."

"I need you in transporter room two. Come dressed to impress and bring a smile..But we leave in two minutes." as Yamaguchi went into the turbolift.

Just minutes later she and her away team went down to the planet.
