| Personal History | Bruce Fraser was born on the 7th of May in 2355 and he was raised in an atypical household as he was raised on Mars. he was the eldest of three brothers and the three of then spent their childhoods generally being happy and well-adjusted kids. Bruce decided he wanted to go into the Marines as he felt the need to give something back and as the Federation was having a rough time through the late sixties, he felt he would be called up anyway. His brothers didn't wish to serve in Starfleet as they generally felt that Starfleet was too self-serving. His time at boot camp was highly educational academy, to say the least, but he was thrown into the frying pan early with the Federation-Klingon War of 2373, the Second Borg attack and the Dominion War. He was offered a field commission of Second Lieutenant twice during the Dominion war but Bruce refused them, citing he was not yet ready for such responsibility at either time, he wished to remain enlisted instead so he was awarded the Bronze Star for gallantry under fire and the second time he was awarded the Marine combat infantryman ribbon, mostly for fighting hard. He came across a man named 'the bastard of Bremer' and the two hated each other instantly because Bremer thought that Fraser was too much of an ass-hat and Fraser thought that Bremer was a social sociopath and an outright nutcase. He was not far wrong in his thoughts on Bremer The two men collided a few times and this only added to the issues between them, until both men were reassigned to separate assignments. Fraser was reassigned to the USS Strong in Will, which was a newly built Ambassador class starship built at the Okrana Shipyards on Bajor for the Federation, his assignment here was therapy from the last assignment. In 2383 he was offered the chance to go to Force Recon School. He did well and he graduated two years later as a level one operator. He was then assigned to the USS Omens of Woe, a Pathfinder II Class starship for the better part of six years He was attached to this ship because he was gone most of the time on various assignments, many of which are classified so he can't and won't talk about them. In late 2391. he was posted to the USS Dreamcrusher as her new Marine CO. Fraser replaces Captain Tienn Nerra who was reassigned to the Argonne, on his first day he met one of his Marines, a Corporal named Chen Dulari Her first meeting with Captain Bruce Fraser was her breaking into his quarters while he was home, taking a shower and she made rather blunt advances towards him, they ended the dispute with him taking her to bed and having his way with her, it was a sexual encounter they both enjoyed. While he had the option to charge her with various offenses, he decided not to bother with it and enjoy the encounter. Chen and Scorch served together on the Dreamcrusher. Later, Chen developed a romantic interest in Scorch, who eagerly returned Chen's affections. Andorian females are known for their sexual aggressiveness, and Chen was certainly no exception to this. Scorch felt especially honored to be chosen by Chen, who came from a privileged, wealthy family on their homeworld. Chen had the freedom to choose any career she wished but chose the military – endearing her to Scorch as a soldier. She could also have any man she wanted but chose Scorch – endearing him to her as a lover. He was never the same after her death before he was killed in action on the surface of Goranar, however, a few days he was revived and he did not take this well in the slightest. |
