Mission: Mission 98: Building Our New Home
Location: Holodeck Nineteen - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 1840Hrs - June 21st, 2393

Captain Ouros Yamaguchi was sitting on the cold concrete floor with the smooth finish as she wore her one-piece singlet, she had nobody who had come with her to this event so she had decided to sit and meditate on the floor, so she sat cross-legged and her head bowed, her short black hair fell into her eyes as she focused on being calm and collected. She had recently been promoted in the Marines and now she was learning how an officer operated and the like.

Meanwhile, 1st Lieutenant Atin Temetti was sitting back in one of the chairs, he was wearing a pair of boardshorts which highlighted his muscular physique which he didn't mind the attention from the females present, he was more interested in one of the females in particular. Selendis Yamaguchi who was presently lying more or less on top of him, wearing almost nothing, her two-piece bathing suit didn't hide much as she smiled down at him. "You know, if we were alone." she smiled as she winked at him.

"You are a tease Selendis," Atin commented. "At least you didn't forget this date, this time," he added. "Do you think you are a workaholic?" he regarded her as he gently ran his fingers over her front, he slipped his fingers under her suit as he began gently playing with her ample breasts, this elicited a sigh from Selendis. "Well I have been feeling rather tired these days, I'm not sure what the issue is," Selendis admitted. "Its been like this for the last while." she frowned. "I thought if I cut back and got more sleep, that it would help, it is but not to the level I'd like."

"Why don't you ask the Doctor.?" Atin commented with a smile.

"No. I'm not going to waste the quack's time with this issue. I'm sure it's just me being an ass to myself as usual."

Atin smiled. "Selendis. We have two fully qualified and licensed Doctors in the room. Why not ask Elizabeth?" he commented. "I am sure she won't make a scene if that's what you're worried about."

"Because she doesn't have her kit with her," Selendis answered a little too quickly.

"She does, she takes it everywhere she goes, its the same with Tienn." Atin smiled, he knew he had his girlfriend cornered.

Just then Ouros rose to her feet and came over to her sister. "Elizabeth will not toy with you Selendis, is there an issue that needs to be addressed?" she inquired as she sat down in a chair next to her sibling who was almost having sex with her boyfriend, she was not far from it as she lay next to and on top of him.

Ouros smiled. "You should deal with issues as they arise, not let them grow until you can't deal with them, it's never wise to collect issues and problems." the large female slowly grinned at her sibling. "Believe me, I know whereof I speak," she added.

Selendis sighed as she slowly sat up, she took a moment to adjust her suit which indicated Atin had been gently fondling her breasts. Ouros only smiled at this development as she regarded her sibling. "So?" Ouros pressed her sibling.

"Alright. I'll have Elizabeth poke and prod me." Selendis said, defeated.

"Very wise," Ouros answered. "I'm sure its nothing at all. It's probably exhaustion but take it from me, it's best to check." as she turned her head, her eyes glassed over as she mentally touched the mind of her twin. 'Elizabeth, could you come to do a check on Selendis, bring your medkit. I'm sure its nothing but she's tired a lot and I'd like a professional handle this.'

'Okay, I'm coming.' Elizabeth's answer was quick. Meanwhile, Elizabeth simply smiled at her husband. "Selendis wants me to give her the once-over, this won't take long kay?"

"Sure. I'll go help dad with the kids and grandkids." Kameron responded with a gentle smile before Elizabeth gently kissed him. "Thanks."

Elizabeth quickly retrieved her medkit from where she had left it next to the BBQ. Torilla noticed as she regarded her eldest child in silence for a moment but she mentally told herself that if Elizabeth had thought she needed to know then Torilla would be told in short order, she smiled as she went back to the food that she was just finishing up cooking for the feast.

Meanwhile, Selendis nodded to Elizabeth as the taller female approached, she didn't have the muscular build that Ouros had but then Elizabeth was a medic and not a marine. "Hey, Elizabeth." Selendis greeted her.

Elizabeth nodded. "You wanted me?" she had to be sure that this was what Selendis wanted and not something being forced so she had to double check with the patient and not everyone else around her.

"Yeah... would you mind giving me the quick once over.. Make sure all is well, I've been feeling really tired a lot recently." the younger female explained.

"Okay, take some deep breathes and let me handle things." Elizabeth produced her tricorder as she went to work. She blinked as her eyes opened wide before she rechecked her scans. Ouros felt the surge of emotion from Elizabeth as did Torilla, Rachael and Gabriel. "What?" Selendis asked

"You're pregnant, with twins no less." Elizabeth closed her tricorder before she slipped it back into the kit. "That would also explain many things, wouldn't it sweetie.?"

Selendis sighed softly. "I ...." she paused. "I was careless. Stupid."

"How so?" Ouros asked gently. "You were no worse then I was... At least your relationship worked out for you. You have him in your life. Atin. What say you?" the large female asked the male before her.

"This changes nothing," Atin commented. "So our children will be coming sooner than planned and we'll have to adjust but that's okay. Selendis, you and I both knew that this was gonna happen sooner or later," he commented. "You won't need to worry about a thing, I will be there... I have always been there. I will always be here."

Selendis sighed softly as she gently slid her around him as he gently held her against him. "It'll be alright Selendis. We will make it work."

Elizabeth smiled. "If it means anything. I'm pregnant too. We might end up in the same prenatal classes." she commented with a smile.

"How far along am I?"

"About six weeks. Roughly the same as me." Elizabeth explained. "I've been through this twice so I'll help. Plus you got Gabriel and Savannah, who's had three pregnancies, I know Savannah wants another. Rachael has had a couple as well, and then there is mom who had all of us, both Torilla and Plataea, so you have no shortage of help on tap."

"That's good to know," Selendis responded. Atin gently rubbed her shoulders. "I told you it'll be okay."

The four people were interrupted as Torilla called out about dinner being ready and everyone was required at the table. Atin rose to his feet before he helped Selendis to her feet. Ouros came in on her other side just in case as Elizabeth led them to the table where dinner was indeed ready for eating.
