Mission:
Mission 50: This Grey Spirit
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 1300Hrs - November 20th, 2391
The door opened at the approach of Commander Tom Lasky as he entered sickbay, he looked around. "What... The... Fuck... Happened in here?" he asked quietly as he looked at the abattoir that used to be laughingly known as the sickbay. There was blood everywhere and the remnants of items and things smashed or shattered. Lasky looked over the bodies lying on the floor as a sigh escaped his lips. "Teval. What happened in here?"
Teval, whom had his fur soaked in blood, none of it being his own, looked like he was ready to claw someone. Fortunately, he had just succeeded in keeping one of the nurses from bleeding out all over the floor. Looking up at Lasky, he growled," The ambassador's security detail, this is THEIR handiwork."
Lasky sighed softly. "I see," he said simply. "Where do you guys need me?" he inquired as he slipped off his uniform jacket and dropped it by the door.
One of the nurses answered his question with one of her own. "Commander. Right over here... Hows your strength?"
"Decent enough."
"Good." the smaller Asian woman responded. "I need a hand if you got it to spare?"
Lasky nodded and went over to her.
Toshnarr slowly woke up, he shook his massive head as Lasky stopped next to him. "Hey El Tee... I know you feel like shit..."
"I've been better Commander.." Toshnarr rumbled. "What's the situation.?"
"Bad... We need ya.."
Toshnarr hauled himself to his feet. "I live to serve... What do you need me?"
"We have twenty-four wounded Doctors. Three critical's..."
"Very well... I will assist in triage." Toshnarr rumbled as he climbed to his feet.
Lasky found himself not being needed now as another nurse tossed him a medkit and he went to work on the wounded lying on the floor. "Shit... This one's dead.."
Toshnarr turned his head. "Who?"
"It's Chief Ralih..."
Toshnarr paused. "She was my friend..." he rumbled. "Those who murdered her... will pay... with their blood."
Renhai, along with several medical personnel from Spirit of Winter, was among the first ones from anther ship to arrive. Seconds later Kroo and his fighter corps medical personnel arrived on the scene. Renhai first went to Teval, "What's the situation."
Teval tried his best to calm himself, "24 wounded, one dead, our CMO, ACMO, and just about all my medical officers are down. Also this sickbay is pretty much going to be unusable."
Kroo nodded, "Alright, well then we take them to the pod's sickbay."
Teval nodded. "Alright, start transporting them then."
Meanwhile in the tower pod. Flight Captain Heather Davis was busy putting away the last couple of items she was checking as her husband came in. "Heather, gear up. We got incoming wounded," he said to his wife.
Davis nodded as she yanked out her medical kit. "Call in our medics..."
Her husband responded. "Already done.." as the wounded began arriving, as they did Heather exclaimed. "These guys are Doctors and nurses.. what the hell happened?"
"Beats me!" Julian Davis responded. "I wish I knew myself." he shrugged. "Let's get to it."
Meanwhile, Von Estling released all of Ronanokes crew from the brig and began to bean the casualties to the flight pod sickbay, Nalla included.
After all, the wounded in sickbay got transported to the flight pod sickbay, Teval took a seat in one of the chairs, now very exhausted. He then noticed Siaxx, Olmos, Bree, and Zara enter sickbay.
Dithen had trailed behind them closely, though he immediately got to work with helping orderly and ops folks clear the debris. Zara and Bree, however, looked horrified while Olmos radiated with absolute rage.
"How the fuck does this happen?" Zara spoke in disbelief. "This is a hospital!? Our own people did this to each other."
"Is there any way I can assist your people, Captain?" Bree quickly asked to Teval.
Teval shook his head, answering, "No, the secret service did this to our people. I have those six clowns responsible in the brig right now."
He then looked at Olmos, "Your daughter should be in the fighter pod sickbay by now."
"If you need another surgeon, call me. I'm going to assess my daughter," Olmos spoke with a stony expression. She wanted blood.
Teval nodded," Be sure to document everything, and tell that to all the other doctors doing treatment as well, I want this event meticulously documented, because I am going to send this report up to the commandant of the secret service himself as well as JAG, because I am going to press charges on these assholes, get them locked away for good."
Everyone within earshot heard this. Lasky tapped his combadge. "Lasky to Brown... Warrick. I need you in sickbay... bring your CSI kit... and your A-Game.. Its ... It's ugly in here.."
"On my way Commander." came the response.
A few minutes later, the door opened and in walked Warrick Brown. "Holy... Okay... I'll have this processed and squared away shortly.." as he opened his case and he went to work.
Teval just sat there, rather tired at this point while the crew went to work. Soon Von Estling arrived and reported in, "We had five of our people in the brig, but all of them have been transported to the fighter pod sickbay, the secret service personnel are secure."
Teval nodded, looking around the room, then said quietly, so no one else would hear, "Send those guys to the Dreamcrusher and don't tell anyone. A lot of people are going to be looking for revenge, and I don't want anyone to get in trouble or do anything stupid, so move them to Dreamcrusher, and do it quietly."
Von Estling nodded, then moved out of the room.
Lasky smiled. "Excellent move skipper." he rumbled softly.
Meanwhile, the door opened and in walked Sheridan. "Hey, Warrick."
"Lo John... This the main scene?" Brown inquired.
"Yeah... process everything, this... is a blue on blue.. and we got one fatality because the Secret Service bastards killed one of our own..."
"Okay. I'll handle everything, Its gonna take a while since I'm alone."
"No rush. There are no other crime scenes in this fleet tonight." Sheridan said. "If you need more guys, let me know and I'll get you some."
"Okay. Well, I'd best get to it." Brown responded before he went back to work. Sheridan turned and went over to Teval. "Our people have been released to their quarters, except Lieutenant Fordring who should be here shortly. You got orders for me?"
Teval nodded," Yeah, Rykar is one of the few people on the bridge right now, can you go up there and help her out."
"Yeah. Willdo." Sheridan turned and departed in silence.
Lasky sighed softly as he gently picked up the dead Andorian nurse as he carried her away. "It'll be okay Ralih," he said to her corpse, as not to alarm anyone who didn't know she was dead.
Toshnarr watched him in silence, his large eyes betraying his hate and rage. "I am sorry my friend..." he rumbled before he refocused on his work.
Warrick turned. "Alright. I'm ready to start taking samples... Skipper. I'll start with you... I need a lock of your fur... your evidence... I'm Sorry... Don't worry. I won't take a huge amount."
Teval nodded, and let Warrick get his evidence. " Well Warrick, make sure you dot you i's and cross your t's with this case. I am going to press every charge i can against these bastards, So I need you to do a good job, make this the best job you have ever done, if you please."
Warrick Brown regarded Teval, a soft smile on his lips. "Consider it done Skipper. Its gonna take me awhile but it'll be done... I'll see to it."
Teval nodded," Well recruit anyone you need, take as long as you have to, this one goes by the book."
Warrick nodded his head. "Willdo skipper. The fleets finest is on it."
Meanwhile Von Estling was on a very secure channel with Zuko and Selgae, giving them the rundown of the situation. He then added, "Use your most trusted people for this job and keep it on a need to know basis, and I suggest putting them in a very secured quarters instead of a normal brig, just in case Roanoke crew members decide to sniff around."
Zuko nodded, "Got it master chief, we'll do this."
Selgae nodded her soft furry head. "Okay, expect trouble from Roanoke's crew. okay," she responded. "We have several sets of crew quarters that are not being used in section eleven of Deck Sixteen." she paused. "I can set up a couple of roving patrols on that deck and call it a combat drill... but it'll need to be shipwide to get past those crazies," she explained to Zuko. "I'll make it be against several infiltration teams... and they are to treat Roanoke's people as targets of chance... just in case."
Von Estling nodded," Good idea, Alright, I'll be sending them to you within five minutes."
Zuko looked at Selgae, "Well I think this ship just suffered an internal explosion, and we need to seal off Section 11 deck 16."
Selgae smiled as her whiskers twitched. "Alright... We'll bring them in and evacuate everyone else out, then lock the place down... I'm going to keep this exercise going for several days until we are rid of these goons." she explained her plan before she produced a PADD and started jotting down notes. "Any of Roanoke's crew that get caught by my guys will be sent back... repeat offenders go into my brig."
Zuko nodded. "Yep, good job." He then sighed and shook his head. "Wow, I can't believe anything like that would happen on a Federation ship, what a disgrace."
Selgae kept her silence, she did not disagree with him. "I'll be ready in ten minutes," she added.
