| Personal History | Heather Ericsson was born in 2357 on the New Vegas Colony. Her childhood was one marred by one major problem, it was that she was the product of a one night stand and when her mother returned to drop off the howling infant on her fathers doorstep, before she knocked on the door then ran away. She abandoned Heather to fates winds and as fortune was with her that night, John opened the door and took her in, attached was an apology note and a few baby items. John sighed and he simply accepted the fact that he had a third child to raise alongside the other two, his wife wasn't so willing to simply let it go but he said that a third child was a simple blessing and he would raise her alongside their other two and once she realized that this was the product of that one night stand a year ago, she simply shrugged and let it go, claiming the child as one of her own. Heather had no way to know that she was the last remaining member of a doomed family, determined to destroy itself. The Harrisons would end up all dead as Anthony Harrison found out what his wife had done and he later beat his wife to death with his fists, also he raped her a few times to ensure she got the message that he was king of the household. He then committed suicide afterward as he was unable to live with the shame or the guilt of what he had done. Meanwhile Heather would grow up as a happy and cherished child, thanks to the good fortune of strangers who had accepted her as one of their own, and when the time came she went off to the academy at age eighteen, she went into the Marines as a medic Her service jacket is filled with commendations as well as operations she has assisted with and performed. Generally, she collects top marks from those around her even if she is a bit too brash for her own good. While assigned to Starbase Lya Station Alpha, she met Julian Davis and their relationship quickly flourished as the two ended up having two children together after getting married. Together, they went from assignment to assignment and before long she would end up getting forced to accept a commission from a General who's life she saved, he would not take refusal for an answer so she finally gave in and accepted the commission that General Calhoun felt was severally overdue her. Now she serves among Roanoke's new fighter force medical guys as a medic and she is looking forward to stamping her name on this ships long and much-storied history. She would remain here until the end of Roanoke's service with her destruction. Once the dust had settled, she was reassigned to join her husband at the Starfleet medical base on Deneva, here she decided to leave the marines and go back into Starfleet as a ship driver. Her request was approved and due to her service record, she was promoted to Lt Commander. Davis was reassigned a year later to the USS Iron Duke when the posting of Chief Conn officer became available. |
