Captain Torilla Yamaguchi was seated in her command chair on her bridge. "Are we all here?"

Jiao Anderson who was seated at Operations. "Yeah skippy. Barnham and the Callisto are both inside sensor range and are approaching at high warp."

"Hail them" Morales commented with a smile as Torilla rose to her feet. "Split screen, let the three of us see each other."

The image of two separate bridges appeared with two very different women who were both standing, one was blond haired and fair while the other was brunette and rather rough looking. "Captain Yamaguchi. I'm Traci MacIntosh of the USS Callisto. We're here to help with your scavenger hunt."

"I'm Ashley Kuechler but you knew that... We've met before."

Torilla nodded. "Yes... We met in battle." she responded. "Well lets hope we don't start shooting at each other here.."

"Well.. We can hope not." Kuechler responded. "In any case... We will find your lost destroyer... even if its just subatomic particles.."

"Alright.." Yamaguchi responded. "Signal the group, Lets head in system... get me a full scan of the system?"

Jiao's eyes opened wide. "Captain... There was a thriving ecosystem on two planets... one has been reduced to molten slag and the other.... glassed.."

Torilla regarded Jiao. "Two planets... destroyed.. just like that?"

"Its not just the planets sir... Its the systems star... It used to be Class G. Now I'd... I'd call it a T Tauri star... its in an extremely violent state, throwing off many times its normal level of radiation with massive solar flares.."

"My god... That means any life in the system..."

"Has been exterminated.." Anderson responded softly. "Whoever commanded that ship... has alot to answer for."

Torilla paused. "Get me the Ryzar's Shield. I want to talk with Ryuukei."

"I'm way ahead of you skipper." Jiao responded as she opened the comline requested.

As a Precaution Ryuukei had Ryazar's shield's weapons loaded, but he didn't have the ship at general quarters. Fortunately they had managed to fix the turret jam a week ago, so all main guns where functioning. Lirvinx then commented," Hey courageous is hailing us."

Ryuukei nodded, and tapped one of the buttons on his console, opening the channel. "Yeah, whats up."

"I don't know if I'm being paranoid Ryuukei... But would you mind leading the sortie into the.... whats left of this system?"

Ryuukei nodded then guided his ship to the front, he then asked, " So I take it fighters are pretty much out of the question for this mission huh."

Anderson nodded. "Indeed... I don't want to chance it... The radiation is going to start getting bad enough to affect various ships systems the closer in we go." she reported. "Whatever did this... the star itself has become unstable. Its too small to go Nova but thats not going to stop it from throwing off massive amounts light and energy.."

Yamaguchi could not be more pleased with her Operations Officer as she decided to simply let the other woman explain. "The star has all the classic signs of a T Tauri star but... It used to be a G type star... similar to Sol or Tau Ceti." Anderson explained.

"Jiao.... Theorize... What could cause this?"

Anderson paused. "There is only one thing... In the known universe that can cause something like this..." she paused. "Gravity."

Ryuukei also added in, while the AI's scanned the system," There is also the possibility of subspace rifts being present or other anomalies, so we have to watch for those as well."

Lirvinx watched as the sensor systems processed the raw data, then added. "Well, this system has definitely been damaged. The star is completely imbalanced, one side of the star has lost a lot of mass, and its movement is unstable. Every planet in the system has been knocked off its normal orbit, several of the closer planets are in the process of falling into the star."

Torilla nodded. "Alright... chart everything.." she paused. "Spread out... " she sighed softly. "Javier. you ever feel like you're crashing a funeral party?"

"You have no idea Torilla." Morales responded with a smile. "We're in a shooting gallery."

"Sir." Nathan Duhamel commented. "We're seeing the start of a collision between two gas giants... they are approaching fast... Impact in two hours."

"Helm, take us there.. we are not missing this..." she paused. "Have the destroyers stay with an assigned ship... Just in case subspace anomalies pop up... With all this insanity, its hard not seeing them making an appearance as Ryuukei said." Torilla responded.

Ryuukei looked at Lirvinx asking," How many working drones do we have right now."

"Forty two right now." Lirvinx answered.

Ryuukei nodded," Alright, launch them." He then said to Torilla. "We have Forty-two working drones, hopefully we will be able to maintain a good command signal with them."

"Alright... But keep an eye on the radiation. I'd rather not lose them out here... Indulge my paranoia on this one alright?" she smiled before her ship suddenly shook from the concussive force of an impact. "What the?!"

"Direct it from an asteroid strike. minor damage only." T'soon'ah reported.

"Lovely. Steady as she goes helm." Torilla responded softly.

Kasana Rekevo came up to the command center and began to study the sensor readings. Ryuukei looked over at her," Hey Kasana, your here."

She nodded," Yep, wow this system is active, what caused this."

Ryuukei shrugged," Some guy with a giant ship trying to open some wormhole."

"I see." Kasana then mentioned," Yeah, I am detecting a subspace anomaly, right in our path too."

Ryuukei nodded. "Steer us around it."

The various other ships all began ducking and weaving around the various anomalies as they began popping up, the rockstorm only intensified as they got closer to their destination.

"We're approaching the gas giants sir."

"On screen." Torilla responded.

Kasana watched as one of the moons was swallowed by the gas giant, prompting her to comment. "Well this is an impressive event."

Ryuukei nodded. "I'll say, that portal must have been generating a hell of a lot of energy to cause this."

Torilla watched as well. "Wow... this just... wow." she commented as her personnel watched and monitored everything that was going on around them.
