Mission: Mission 12: Hitchhikers are Escaped Convicts
Location: Various Locations - Starbase 400 / USS Shadow
Timeline: 1800Hrs - February 12th, 2390

Rear Admiral Jake Yamaguchi was known for his exotic tastes in food, it helped because he could cook as well as eat as Jake for his
credit sighed softly, in another life he would have been a Master Chef and would have been content to own a restraunt or a series
of them but Jake also liked to cook for small gatherings, this one of his family qualified.

He looked around at the people gathered, his closest kin that were present on the starbase when a darker skinned woman walked thorough the door, she had two Andorian children with her in tow as the human woman was clearly their mother.

Jake looked at Daniel. "Hey Daniel, look who just showed up."

"You're shitting me?" Daniel replied quietly to his elder cousin as Jake rose to his feet, the move caught everyone's attention as
he flagged his youngest cousin down.

Celeste turned as she spotted her elder brother with Jake's family as she came over. "Hey guys. I've missed you
all." she noted that Captain T'Rae was not here and neither was Torilla Yamaguchi, people who'm Celeste had come to accept as kin,
as close to her as her own sisters like April, Heather or Talon.

Daniel likewise rose to his feet as Jake picked up his younger sister in a rather powerfull bear hug as he smiled at her.

Celeste smiled as she missed these little family get togethers in odd and different places. "So... you guys remember Pasha and Pava?"

The two Andorian children needed no encouragement as they found seats around the table with the other Yamaguchi's and befoe long they were all getting stuck into their meals.

"So.. Celeste, what brings you here?"

"I'm newly assigned to USS Shadow and she's just finished her refitting so I'm going to become her new permanent Chief Medical Officer."

"Thats great news..." Jake answered. "Daniel here is just waiting for the Alexander the Great to return."

"She should be back tomorrow..." Daniel answered with a smile

Celeste smiled as she listened to the chatter around the large table as
she helped herself to some of the potato caserole. "Mmm... this looks good.
Jake is this yours..."

"No. this was a dish that Torilla sold to Crim Widdy, the owner of this
place." he smiled. "Since Crum Widdy has gone home to Bolarus for ... I
think it was a family emergency, Torilla has been stopping in almost on
a nightly basis to help look after this place, she seems to like it more
then her quaters." Jake explained

Celeste chuckled softly. "Girl has to have a hobby you know Jake... can't
be all martial arts and Rachael with her.."

"Yeah well, Rachael has a boyfriend." Jake commented deadpan as the protest
came back "Dad!" the thirteen year old growled at her father. "Why don't you
just spraypaint it on the bulkheads....a little discreation here!"

Celeste thought that was just hilarious as she started laughing. "AAhh Rachael
thats wonderfull, soon you might have bigger problems then you know how to
handle yourself... but then why worry when you got so many of us around."

"Yeah Aunt Celeste, we breed like rabbits.." Rachael's acidic resposne only
made Celeste smile grow wider. "Ahh... tell me something... do you kiss your
mother with that mouth?"

Jake knew that Torilla would be laughing uncontrolably at this point as he
smiled. "guys, please.." as Celeste chuckled softly.

An hour or so later after the meal had finished, Celeste was walking beside
her brothers as she explained what was going on with her life, her two adopted
children following at a discrete distance

"So you'll be staying aboard USS Shadow untill further notice then." Daniel
looked at his sister as he regarded her with a smile.

Celeste nodded as she regarded her sibling. "Yep, besides I made full Commander
four years ago and now if they promote me again... I'll have to transfer to a
medical ship as her commander."

"I have a feeling that Commanding a ship would be boring for you." Jake
commented with a smile.

"For now, yes.... I want to be doing something other then sitting on my ass,
doing little other then telling others what to do and doing endless ammounts
of paperwork." she sighed as she looked at her two siblings. "Well. We'd best
go.. the Shadow won't wait forever and I do need to go aboard her."

Both men gave her a hug, one then the other. "Take care." and with that the
five of them parted company after a few hugs and kisses.

Celeste gave her two adopted children a few extra moments with their uncles
but soon even that ended as she led her two children over to where the USS Shadow was docked.

The guard gave her premission to go aboard after he checked her authorization and
her sword she had sheathed next to her pack which she carried on her back, she
smiled "Thank you."

"Welcome aboard Commander." the Ensign responded and with that Celeste Yamaguchi
along with her two children went aboard the USS Shadow
