Mission: Mission 12: Hitchhikers are Escaped Convicts
Location: Various Locations - USS Shadow
Timeline: 0800Hrs - February 13th, 2390

Commander Celeste Yamaguchi had come aboard, checked in with sickbay
to let them know that she was indeed real and would be soon reporting to
the Captain so she could formaly take her post as Chief Medical Officer in
fact as well as just theory, then she had taken her two Andorian children
home to their new home and now she had come to pay her respects.

'Celeste, are you off to meet someone new or are you off to a funeral?'
she thought to herself, 'cheer up, what's the worst the skipper can say'
as she smiled to herself.

She walked into a turbolift, the doors irised open and then closed behind
her as she stated. "Bridge"

Moments later she was standing before the ready room doors as she tapped
the door chime, thus announcing her presence as she brushed off her left
shoulder with her right hand as she waited for the Captain to admit her.

Yoshi looked up from her reports, "Enter," Yoshi said as the doors opened
and a women in teal walked in. "Ah you must be my new Chief Medical
Officer, it's about time I don't know how much more I can take of the EMH.
I think he needs a better bedside manner." Yoshi joked as she stood up and
extended her hand to welcome her.

"Please take a seat," Yoshi stated looking at her.

Celeste did as she was bade in silence as she sat down in the designated chair.
"Yes Captain. I am indeed your new Chief Medical Officer... though I think I'm
far better looking and much easier to deal with then the EMH." Celeste explained.

She nodded, "Well we are scheduled to leave here within the hour on our
shakedown cruise since the refit and upgrade to the Shadow's systems
including a new Slipstream drive." She stated. "I want you to get settled
and start on everyone's medical exams as soon as possible." Yoshi stated
looking at her.

"Medical checks for eight hundred will take me some time sir." Celeste explained.
"But I will work on it." she added.

She chuckled, "Well at least the Senior Staff would be fine to, and the Assistance
Chief's as well should be alright." She said with a smile.

Celeste shook her head. "No sir." she responded. "Everyone gets the same treatment
from me, I don't have their paperwork in and which means they are getting the checks
regardless."

She nodded, "your choice." Yoshi stated looking at her. "But tell me about yourself your
last name sounds familiar to me are you any relation to a Captain Jake Yamaguchi?"
She asked looking at her. She had served with him once upon a time.

Celeste smiled. "Jake is my cousin." she responded evenly. "I come from a
rather large family with a lot of members in it." she explained. "I'm the only one of my
generation who has yet to find someone or get married." she explained. "my various
cousins don't count however...." she paused. "So... how do you know Jake?"

Yoshi smiled "I served with him a few years ago fresh out of the Academy. He is a
good officer, I havent talked to him since that time." Yoshi stated, "How is he doing
by the way?" She asked.

"Jake is happier then I've ever known him. he just became a grandfather." she explained.
"Gabriel and Savannah recently welcomed their first child so I'm Aunt Celeste until further
notice." she smiled. "You could try calling him... he commands the USS Courageous these
days."

"I will make a point of it," She smiled. "That is awesome news," Yoshi added with a smile.

Celeste smiled at the other woman. "Did you ever serve with any other members of my
family?"

She thought for a moment, "Not that i remember," Yoshi said looking at her. "I think Jake
was the only one," Yoshi added.

"Well his wife, Torilla is serving on the base... and Daniel, one of my other siblings is on
the USS Alexander the Great," she explained. "Next time I talk to Jake... I must mention your
name to him....his response will be highly amusing."

Yoshi smiled, she looked at the time "well i dont see anything else that I need to tell you.
I will be down to sickbay soon for my checkup." Yoshi smiled as she stood up "again
welcome aboard Commander." Yoshi stated with a smile.

"Excellent... then I will take my leave.." and with that Celeste rose to her feet in one smooth motion,
indicating she had dance, martial arts training or both and with that she turned and departed.
