Mission: Mission 115: The Pale-Fac'd Moon looks Bloody on the Earth
Location: Various Locations - USS Grey Wolf
Timeline: 0825Hrs - November 11th, 2393

Fleet Captain Torilla Yamaguchi tapped the display before her, she frowned as she considered her orders. She was not happy that she would lose another leave with her husband and children. She slowly rotated to her left as she regarded the wall portrait of her family on the wall. With her and Jake in the centre with all of their children arranged in a semi-circle before her. Gabe and Savv were front and centre with Rachael and Ennis off to her left and Elizabeth and Kameron off to her right.

Torilla slowly smiled as she knew she would need to commission another portrait soon. One with Ouros, Selendis and Lasarra involved. Jake was the centre of Torilla's universe and she didn't care who knew it. Her own people had turned their backs on her when she decided she would carry her half-Human, half-Halanan child to term. Elizabeth did not deserve to die because her mother's people demanded that she terminate her pregnancy with immediate effect. So Torilla opted instead to refuse. She brought her child to term and now Elizabeth is having children of her own.

It was their response that shocked her. Their response broke her. The response was to cast her out and be forgotten. Her sadness and heartbreak were nothing compared to her husband's rage. Torilla was then told that if her people could not accept these events. Then Jake would replace her people with his own. When word of this had gotten out. The raw incandescent fury of Jake's sisters was telling, she was considered as part of the family regardless of anything else. Rachael had known of her daughter-in-law and it was her acceptance of Torilla that the younger woman had never forgotten.

Torilla smiled as she had named her now middle child after her mother-in-law. Rachael Yamaguchi would never know her granddaughter as a wave of anger passed through Yamaguchi. "Even after all this time, you fuckers can still make me angry," she commented softly.

Yamaguchi slowly rose to her feet as she let out a long sigh. "Maybe I should return home." she paused. "I know Jake will be happy to have me back home," she spoke aloud. "I dunno... But I keep hearing rumours that I'm to be offered a posting elsewhere, away from the Grey Wolf." she then shrugged. "Listen to me, sitting here talking to myself... If I'm not careful People will start thinking I'm crazy." Yamaguchi stepped out of the chair as she smiled. She sighed. "Computer, A glass of water, please. Five degrees Celsius," she commented, her soft dulcet tones had her smile.

The beverage appeared as requested. Yamaguchi lifted it from the replicator as she took a sip. She missed her husband, her children and grandchildren. She found she desired their company over anyone else. But she knew that this new mission would have her confronting a very old demon who had held her in its grip for most of her life. "Very well, old enemy. It's time I dealt with you... Once and for all." as she took a second sip of her drink. The Halanan female then turned before she went onto her bridge, her drink of water in hand. "Report?" Yamaguchi inquired.

Tienn Kerris rose to her feet from where she had been sitting in the Captain's chair since Torilla liked to delegate as much as possible to everyone around her. It was to ensure that they were ready for their own assignments as possible first officers and Captains of their own ships of the line. Rather than Yamaguchi being lazy and not wanting to do anything. Tienn Kerris regarded her commanding officer with a gentle smile, as she proceeded to give her report to her commanding officer, as had been requested by said officer. "The USS Pembrookshire and the USS Yorkshire have both arived to replenish us and our three escorts," she explained in simple terms what was going on. "Other than that, everything is status-quo, Captain." the Bajoran reported.

Yamaguchi slowly sat down in her command chair. "Thank you, number one. I have our new assignment... I could question why I was selected for it but I suspect it was due to our being available rather than because of who I am."

Tienn Kerris frowned. "What do you mean, skipper?" she asked, her concern coming through in her voice.

Torilla tapped her combadge and asked all senior staff to come to the bridge so she could brief everyone on the coming assignment.

"I'm being sent to my old homeworld." Yamaguchi was known for holding her briefings on the bridge where all could hear her rather than in the conference lounge. If anything needed to be restricted then Torilla would host the meeting either in the ready room or in the conference lounge but otherwise she would host it on the bridge.

The others members of the senior staff all arived within moments of each other. "Whats happening skipper?" T'Ree asked of her.

Yamaguchi paused a moment as she proceeded to launch into her explination of the mission at hand, its issues, concerns and objectives. She knew it would be very risky but she also knew it could resolve the issues present already.
