Mission: Mission 66: Double Helix
Location: Tuanko Colony - Planet surface - Medical Center
Timeline: 1100Hrs Local Time - Feb 26th, 2392

Commander Derris Feraan shifted her position ever so slightly in her oversized chair but that was because she was more then twice the size of her skipper. "What a pretty ball of rock.."

"Mmmm... if you say so." Miratu Stark responded from her station.

Gyce sat on a biobed in sickbay, watching the medical staff recheck their supplies for the outbreak. She was there for Iteela, so she decided to remain quiet.

Lt Commander Tanya Stevenson regarded Gyce. "We're here... you coming planetside with us...?" she inquired, she was holding a case in each hand and a duffel over one shoulder.

"Yea Ma'am," Gyce affirmed before she stood up and began to check on her biosuit. "I'll be there for crowd control mostly."

Stevenson smiled as she grinned at Gyce. "It'll be good." she responded. "When you see Tienn again.... Give her my regards."

"I shall, Ma'am." Gyce gave Stevenson a respectful head bow.

Stevenson smiled at the shorter woman. "Good luck Commander." she responded.

"You too, Ma'am." Gyce turned to leave the room.

Stevenson smiled as she thought to herself 'I hope she is worthy of you..' before she turned and went back to work.

Meanwhile on the bridge. Commander John Sheridan turned to the smaller Caitian. "Medical reports they are ready to beam down skipper."

Teyo nodded, "alright go ahead and send them down then."

Sheridan nodded as he tapped the display next to him. "Bridge to sickbay, we have arrived, commence with the operation." he smiled as he thought of the fact that he would only be here a week or so more before being reassigned back to security and then his replacement could look after this eclectic crew.

Once Gyce got up to the pad, she gave one last look at her hazard suit before she materialized to the place of her girlfriend.

Tanya Stevenson beamed planetside, she looked around as she regarded the outside of the colonies hospital, she hefted her medkit. "Alright. My guys with me."

An Akurian shuttle dropped from the sky and landed in a nearby clearing. Shortly after, Numerous Akurians wearing hazmat gear approached. The lead Akurian, an Ankuri asked. "Which of you is in command here."

Commander Celeste Yamaguchi turned to address the being talking to her and her medics. "I assume that I'm in command.." she paused.

Daisy and Ryngwyth were both behind Yamaguchi. Daisy spoke up. "We're here in reserve in case you need us."

Yamaguchi turned as she regarded the two females in Marine garb. "Thank you... I have a feeling I'll be needing you both for this." she paused. "Can I borrow some of your medics?" she inquired of Daisy. "Maybe they'll see something we missed. the more eyes on this that we have, the better."

"Yes," Daisy replied. She looked over at Ryngwyth. "Call the platoon leader of the medics, have them report to Siaxx Dvald."

Ryngwyth nodded and turned to use her combadge. "Anything else we can help with?" Daisy asked.

"Double check with the security guys, they could use some extra guys for security patrols." Yamaguchi explained with a smile. "You'll be wanting to talk to Tienn Kerris, she's been working with the Sheriff's office. Helping them out." Yamaguchi paused. "In the meantime..." she paused. "anyone could can assist with orderly duty would be great. we're stretched thin.. Basically go around and make sure people eat, drink. get to the bathroom .... that sort of thing." Yamaguchi sighed. "Its been an exhausting week.."

"I'll check with Tienn Kerris." Daisy responded. "I can ask for volunteers for orderly duty. If I can't find enough volunteers then we'll round some up." Daisy sized up Yamaguchi. "You look exhausted."

Yamaguchi tried to smile but she couldn't quite do it. "I feel like I've been run over to be honest.." she paused. "Tell me you can relieve me of my work... That would be just... heavenly... and I'll stick your your name in... for whatever medal you want." Yamaguchi sounded like she was really getting her hopes up.

Daisy smiled at Yamaguchi. "Go get some rest, you've earned it."

Celeste almost smiled gleefully. "You are too kind..." she responded. "I'll give Colonel Hobbs your regards." as she turned. "Tanya, you're in charge now." before she tapped her combadge. "Yamaguchi to Argonne. One to beam up?"

Yamaguchi was beamed away.

Daisy turned to Ryngwyth. "Have the rest of my battalion beam down."

Sergeyev meanwhile was overseeing the loading of supplies onto the runabouts that where too sensitive to be transported. He then contacted Daisy, "Major, my pilots will be arriving with sensitive medical supplies in about ten minutes, have you figured out a landing zone yet."

"Um, yes." Daisy answered, though it was obvious she was reluctant to tell Sergeyev. "There is a crop field about five kilometers away from here. It is large enough but the ground is rather soft. From what I'm told you shouldn't have any problems landing."

"Do we have any ATVs or troop vehicles coming down?" Gyce asked as she adjusted her khaki shemagh.

"No but we can arrange to have one landed." Daisy replied.

"We should probably req some of those to move about with, I'm thinking," Gyce told to the others.

Daisy nodded. "Alright, I'll ask Captain Ryngwyth to get some APCs down here. They have anti-gav sleds so that will be easy on the medicine."

"Once we get our vehicles, we should be able to move out then," Gyce spoke as her eyes scanned the room.

The transports landed. One gravetic APC was unloaded and several marines swarmed it, loading it with supplies from the other transports.

Daisy looked at Gyce. "Supplies loaded and waiting."

The entrance to the hospital opened and out walked a small Bolian female, she wore a gentle smile on her face as well as a standard duty uniform but it was command red rather then medical teal. "Hey guys..." she greeted the assembled personnel. "Its good to see you all." Siaxx Dvald commented. "Especially you Major. you look lovely as ever." she said to Daisy.

"Thank you Commander." Daisy replied. "I hope we're in time with the medical supplies."
