Mission: Mission 47: A Crack in the Mirror
Location: Various Locations - Starbase 12
Timeline: 1300Hrs - November 5th, 2391

Fleet Admiral April Yamaguchi was just getting back from lunch as she regarded her days work as she sat down behind her desk, she looked a little bleary eyed, tired from a night awake with her middle child. Kimora Yamaguchi who was sick with a stomach bug and from having something of a rough morning.

She lifted her mug of hot coffee to her lips before she took a mouthful. "Mmm... This is gonna be a long day." she muttered to herself as the com system beeped at her. "Admiral Yamaguchi. We have a security breach."

"Lovely.. How bad is it?" April responded as she wanted to take a long, scalding hot shower, preferably with her husband ravishing her but she knew that wasn't going to happen today. "Sir.. We have indications that we were boarded and files were copied and stolen but thats about all."

"Mmm..." April raised an eyebrow. "I wonder if this has anything to do with why the Akurian battlecrusier took off three hours ago.." the taller woman mused to herself.

"Possibly sir. We're looking into it."

"Understood. Get me a report as soon as you can..." April sighed as the door beeped at her.

April gave the door a rather evil glare before she lifted the mug of coffee to her lips, she drank a mouthful before she answered. "Its Open!" she called as she placed her mug back onto the tabletop.

The door opened and in walked several people. Torilla Unal led the people in as Ouros followed along with Toshnarr and Selendis, Lasarra and Ryuukei bringing up the rear.

Torilla peered at April. "Interesting.... You look good for a dead woman." as April caught the various looks of fear mixed with a great deal of loathing, especially from Rachael.

"I feel like shit actually... Torilla... Why are you standing before me wearing that fancy getup?" she inquired as she indicated Torilla's bare midriff, the skirt and belt with the knife on it and her knee high boots. "It doesn't suit you. Whats wrong with your regular uniform?"

"This 'is' my regular uniform." Torilla Unal answered. "And you... How are you alive... I watched you die an hour ago.."

"Well... reports of my death were exaggerated.. but not by much... spending the night with a sick child tends to wring it out of you."

"Child... What are you talking about... you don't have kids... you never let anyone get you pregnant... Not after you murdered Franklin anyway."

"What are you talking about.?" April blinked, now totally confused. "
"Franklin is at home... Looking after Kimora and Torilla. Danial is at daycare."

"You're so full of shit woman.. You make up stories just to keep others off balance."

April growled. "Okay.. Enough... What the fuck is going on?" now she was losing her temper when the doorbell beeped at her. "Yes!" she snapped.

The door opened and in walked Captain Torilla Yamaguchi. "Hey...Oh.." her mouth formed a perfict 'O' as she looked around. "Well... this is different."

"Yes.." she tapped her combadge. "Yamaguchi to Armstrong. Franklin. I hate to do this.. but I need you in my office quick... You need to see this for yourself."

"On my way April." Franklin's voice came back.

The two Torilla's faced each other, one the dark reflection of the other as Torilla Yamaguchi blinked. "So... You're me.. from... another reality I assume."

"Yes... and you are the native Torilla who belongs here."

"So do you." Torilla gently placed her hand on her counterparts shoulder. "and you have Elizabeth and Rachael with you too... and Toshnarr no less.."

"You know me?" Toshnarr rasped softly.

"I know the version of you that's native to this reality." Torilla Yamaguchi responded as she turned to where Lasarra was sitting. "You look like my own daughter... Rachael Yamaguchi."

"So... Jake accepted you then... took you in along with your mongrel children."

Torilla Unal growled. "Lasarra. Watch your mouth.." she growled angrily.

Torilla Yamaguchi raised an eyebrow. "I think... That you best not say that to Jake... If I were you.." she growled softly.

April watched. "Okay.. Thats enough... I won't let you three have a pissing contest in my office and not at Eight O'Clock in the morning and not when I'm half asleep." she growled. "You. park it at the door..." she pointed to Lasarra. "

The door beeped a second time, April sighed. "Its open!" and with that the door opened and Jake Yamaguchi walked in, he covered his surprise better then Torilla did but he looked around. "This... is new."

"Considering your dead and we killed you the better part of an hour ago.." Lasarra responded, the door opened a second time as Franklin Armstrong walked through the door. "April. you called?"

"Yeah... These guys think you're dead."

"Lovely... Well... Considering how Kimora and little Torilla both kept us up all night... Yes, I only wish I was dead.."

Torilla Unal turned to Torilla Yamaguchi. "This is... different."

"Could be worse," Torilla responded.

Jake looked at Ouros and at Lasarra. "Rachael.. What are you doing here.... you should be off at Warrant school."

"What are you talking about... and since when did you care?"

"What?" Jake Yamaguchi looked totally lost. "Rachael...?"

"Oh don't play the fool with me... I watched you get atomized along with your entire crew.... which frankly you deserved after what you did."

Jake snapped out of it before he glared darkly at Lasarra. "Okay.. someone best start talking some sense here because of this is a joke... I'm going to be annoyed with every one of you."

"Oh you'd like that... Wouldn't you.." Lasarra seemed to enjoy taunting him as she growled softly. "You like getting annoyed with people because you're a heartless bastard ... You always were."

"Lasarra. Shut up already and stop making our situation worse then it already is."

Jake sighed before he turned and walked out.

Torilla Yamaguchi regarded the woman who resembled Rachael before she went over to her, before anyone could stop her, she hauled off and bitch slapped her twice. "How dare you.."

Torilla Unal smiled coldly. "You earned that.."

April Yamaguchi was now quickly growing irritated. "MEV'YAP!" she screeched at the top of her lungs, which had the effect of silencing and almost freezing everyone. "Calm the fuck down.... this is my officer, now a free for all combat ring." she looked at Lasarra. "You are pissing people off." she tapped her combadge. "Yamaguchi to Ops. send the Sergeant at Arms to my office, right now!"

"Oh his way Admiral."

Meanwhile outside April's office. Jake sighed softly. "I can't beleive she said that to me.." he said it being more confused then upset while the doors opened and in walked Rachael Yamaguchi. "Hey Dad." she greeted him cheerfully.

She got back a confused look. "Rachael... What the hell... How are you out here?... You were just inside April's office."

"Nooo.." Rachael responded, dragging out the 'O' sound as she now looked confused. "I just got here... I thought I'd come to see you before I went to see Ennis and Saki."

"Oh... Well then there are some people you should meet..." Jake turned and led Rachael back into the office where April looked annoyed.

April sighed. "Right.. now that I have your attention... I am going to keep this simple. I'm going to ask you five to help with this investigation into the security breach since I'm guessing that you are the culprits. So... with that said... I'd like it if you could help us out to sort this matter out."

Ryuukei sat there, with Weyai with an amused look on his face, before letting slip, "April your culprits are standing in the same room with you."

"Oh good.." April sighed softly. "You five... how however many there were will assist in soprting this matter out and help us plug the gaps... and I won't have you charged with theft." as she gave Lasarra a rather evil look. "You however.. need to something straight young lady.... If you are going to continue to serve in Starfleet... you need to learn that we are not the people you left behind in your home reality.."

"Yes... I'm noticing. You're-"

"Stop talking back to me." April growled softly. "I mean it lady. Just because you resemble my niece doesn't mean to can replace her." as she pointed to Rachael. "See her... she's the nice version of you."

Jake looked pissed off at this point. "April... what are you going to do with them..."

"I'm going to have them assist in the investigation. Then.. when that's finished.. I'm going to ask then to consider serving in Starfleet.. and wearing a decent uniform instead of that drab and ugly looking pile of horse-rags."

"If we refuse.?" Ouros inquired in a mild tone, clearly at ease wearing her unusual uniform.

"Then you'll be given some cash and sent on your merry way." April responded.

Lasarra found she had no answer for that.

"So... I'll need your various service records so I can see what I can get for you... That is... if you intend to continue to serve in Starfleet..." April responded. "I'll let you guys have a week to consider it. You'll be given quarters on the base." she regarded the Sergeant at Arms. "These people will go with you and cooperate in regards to your investigation. Once you have what you need.. show them to the Quartermasters office and get them some accommodations on the base.."

"It'll be done sir." Chief Petty Officer John Hart responded. "I'll see to it personally." he turned. "If you will come with me.?" and with that he lead team Noble out the door.

Torilla Unal was last out as Torilla Yamaguchi remained behind. "Wow... that was different.. in any case. I must get back to the Courageous. I have an exersize I need to handle.."

"Of course. Go on." and with that Torilla turned and departed.

"What about you Jake?"

"I've got to see Lt Commander Furban in an hour or so... So the twins can have their checkup and I need to see how Nalla is coping."

"Fair enough.. Then I'll leave you to it." as April rose to her feet. "I need a drink." she sighed.
