| General Overview | Plataea is easygoing and have a jovial nature but at times she can become hard to reach because she has often felt unwanted or unloved by her husband who treated her rather poorly. She is special forces and as such, she has honed her body and her mind into a weapon of war. Torilla is a very tactile woman, she tends to get along with many people easily and quite well until she has cause not to do so and this mentality as well as being prepared for anything and everything has served her well repeatedly as she has fought in several of the Federations most bloody battles, she has a dark side to her personality which she uses to her advantage in battle many times. It has saved her life in the process. She also is easy to deal with, she can be reasoned with and is able to calm down when angered, also she doesn't lose her temper easily or often either but when she does, she can become a frighteningly destructive force to be reckoned with. |

| Strengths & Weaknesses | Strengths: Plataea is reasonable, operates well with others and can handle many tasks at once, she has an excellent sense of humor and can shrug off insults that would deeply offend others. methodical when assigned tasks, she is meticulous in her work as she will often check things several times in a short timeframe, also her skills in weapons is excellent as she has a working knowledge of various types of weapon systems from phaser weapons to old style ballistic weapons to railgun style technology as well. Weaknesses: When angered. Plataea has a ferocious temper that a Klingon would admire, also when use of deadly force is authorized, she has no qualms about using force to deal with her opposition but this is only after all other options have been exhausted. Can become seriously distracted when the subject of her exile for choosing to mate with an offworlder is brought up, when in this situation, she can become very angry and aggressive extremely quickly. This is a woman who has no problems with death or with killing people. |

| Personal History | Torilla Unal as she is listed on her birth certificate was born on the Hallian world of New Hallanna on November 9th, 2349 on the Terran Calendar, in the capital city to Nebris and Selonis Unal, the pair had been trying to have children for years and Torilla was their last attempt. She grew up as the cherished child and while she wanted for nothing, she also learned tolerance, respect and humility as grew up watching as her colony world was terraformed around her from a polluted hellhole into a paradise, this made her appreciate Starfleet and as result she would choose her profession, Strategic Operations with a side of Tactical. After joining Starfleet and going to the academy, her worlds elders had permitted it in the hope she would grow out of her dalliance and then return home to help save her people from extinction but when this proved not to be the case and after she mated with an outlander, they banished her from ever returning home. From the Excalibur to the Invincible to the Capone. Torilla Unal showcased her lethal skills for the Federation as she helped win several victories over the war with the Klingons. She has been told several times by various CO's that she is a little too dedicated to the destruction of the enemy once the first shot is fired as she tends to stop wanting to talk when she gets shot at, its not a serious concern but if pressed she will not wish to discuss terms while ordinance flies, also she has two none-punitive letters of caution in her file from combat during the Klingon War. this did not deter her from the destruction of the enemy when needed. Torilla has a highly defined sense of right and wrong as she had no problems about defending those weaker then she is and standing in at an even six foot tall and weighing in at about two hundred pounds, facing off against this woman would be a daunting prospect as she is lethal with any of her known implements of war, the katana or the Bo, the Tulwar or the Mek'leth, the Dak'tag or the Scottish Dirk. This is a woman who is no stranger to close quarters battle and she regards it as highly as she does time spent with her husband with is just as skilled as she is. Also she has trained her children in the arts of war and now they are just as well-honed as she is because she raised them with a highly defined sense of right and wrong. She, however, has two skills most lack, her psionic abilities and her temper for when provoked, she can become almost a force of nature especially when lethal force is authorized and she is armed appropriately. Torilla Unal proved to be a reliable officer and a capable officer which most people liked and respected, however, there were the odd few who didn't like her because when she was younger, she used to be a lot harder to deal with which caused her two reprimands. One of them was at the academy where she would meet her future husband during a bar brawl. The second was she disobeyed orders to save her Captains life as he was stranded on a Volcanic moon, The Exec of the USS Endeavour decided to file a reprimand, as she saved his life she demanded the reprimand be dropped however she was required to service him sexually which in the end she did rather than fight with him on the subject but he did make the reprimand go away. She entered Starfleet Academy when she was sixteen and proved herself a capable and diligent student, she excelled in classwork and theory and frequently scored extremely highly but often did poorly with Engineering so as it turned out she was not good with her hands, she has taken extra engineering courses to cure her of these issues but she still replies on the computer for the bulk of her engineering work. She was just entering her second year when Wolf Three Five Nine occurred and the effects of that one battle were far-reaching and devastating on many ways as the bulk of Starfleet's cadet corps was activated and placed on standby status, prepare to fight the Borg. Torilla was called up along with her classmates and her now boyfriend, Jake Yamaguchi who gave her some training with bladed weapons to prepare her for the challenges that lay ahead, it was then when she realized she had feelings for the young cadet next to her on the line. Fortunately, the USS Enterprise-E was able to pull a rabbit out of their hat and stop the Borg as they entered Earth orbit and Torilla, as well as her comrades, were all able to breathe a sigh of relief. She graduated with honors and when she did so, she proposed marriage to Jake and he declined her, citing that he wanted to make his career a priority, his ambitions could not be stopped and while she wanted to help him with matters, he decided to keep her as his mistress, also his entire family had all accepted her into their sizable family which by this point had over a dozen members as Jake's concubine. Unfortunately, this would end her ability to come back to New Halanna as the elders, upon learning what she had done, they proceeded to banish her for failing to uphold the teachings of her people in that she needed to think of them first before all others because her species was slowly dying off due to genetic damage sustained from centuries of stupidity and overpopulation of their homeworld. In rage she turned to her husband and her new family and rather than fight with her about it as she had expected, they still only grudgingly accepted her into their ranks and they unified behind her once she proved herself to them. Late in 2367, she gave birth to her first child, a daughter she wanted to name 'Elizabeth' but Jake advised her not to let his children take his name as they would be vulnerable to his political enemies, two years later along came a second child, this too was a girl. Both were named 'Ouros' and Lasarra' respectively. While it was not what she wanted, her children would still give Torilla a compass to follow where as before, she had none thanks to the elders of her home, casting her out for following her heart. Alas thanks tot he situation that happened as a result of the Endeavour's skipper forcing himself onto her, he had gotten her pregnant as she never bonded with Jake in this universe. Her third child was named 'Selendis' and Jake never bothered getting to know her or any of the others. For a time, her career flowered as she got to fight in the war but she went from the Halfgan to the Endeavour, it was here where she would earn her second reprimand for disobeying orders to save her Captain's Life on a Volcanic moon. The reprimand was expunged when the Captain of the Endeavour used her as his sexual plaything for several hours, the word of this was kept secret and Torilla's second reprimand was removed from her file. Also, she was slipped some information from Jake Yamaguchi that dammed his mother. Captain Rachael Yamaguchi was a criminal by her words and by her deeds so Torilla went and assassinated her, then she presented the evidence. April Yamaguchi quietly swore vengeance against the 'Half Queen' for her action. Around this time the Klingon War had begun and she served on the Front lines through some of the major battles, Archanis with the Seventh, Operation: Thunder with the Second, Operation: Return and the following assignment to secure the Klingon border, she also fought with the Sixth at Khitomer and again at Rura Penthe. She was also present for the battles at Morska which turned the tide of the war to the Federation's favor as well as Donatu. Torilla was also present for the Battles of No'Mat where she and her mate were reunited since the start of the war and the two of them helped conquer the planet, she was also present for the battles of Kronos and the end of the War at Ty'Gokor itself. Torilla had become a combat veteran in every sense of the word as she now no longer cared to help others, she was more interested in security rather then peace, vengeance rather then mercy and while Jake and her children who now returned to her could see the changes in her as she tried to cope with peacetime, she was very quick to reach for her sword, phaser rifle or whatever weapon she had at her disposal as opposed to talking the situation out. In many ways Jake was happy with the changes in his wife as he now realized that she was perfect for her work as she was promoted to Executive Officer on a Sovereign Class ship, named USS Chimera. Their victory was short-lived as the Romulans who had been waiting for their chances. Attacked several years later. Torilla realized that her best uses were in small field tactics and not in command as she went over to SPECWARCOM. getting command of three special forces companies, she would send them out on various missions and sometimes she too would go out on the most dangerous missions, reserving them for herself. While the war was going on, April Yamaguchi was secretly helping the Romulans ever since the start of the war as they used her for information and the like, However, the word of this would not get out until after Torilla had left on her mission to an alternate reality. It remains to be seen if this is actually a threat to her or not but that would prove to become the greatest threat she would ever know, when her sister in law and her own husband both tried to kill her and her children. Others from this new reality were willing to step up for her and for them. For that she owes them her loyalty and now she makes do in this new home. Since coming here and showcasing her skills, she was quickly offered the posting of Commanding Officer of the Special Forces unit assigned tot he Roanoke and her battlegroup. Torilla accepted and she now serves aboard the USS Dreamcrusher alongside her new troopers. Training alongside them rather than shutting herself in her office. Plataea has no idea of what she wants anymore, she is hoping she can find out for herself on her next assignment, also she is hoping that her new extended family can assist her as well. Since this universe's Jake accepted her as his own wife without hesitation or reservation, its broken down her barriers somewhat, her new relationship with her new husband or brother in law is confusing to her more than anything else as there is another version of herself in this reality named Torilla Yamaguchi. What started to break down Plataea's barriers was that this Jake accepted her children as her own without hesitation or reservation. Her new relationship with Jake and this universe's Torilla is still soft and needs to be gently nurtured as she had never imagined anything other than the monster of a man she had known. However, Plataea will have an easier time as this Jake knows what she has been through at the hands of the monster that wore his face in her home reality. Since meeting Commander Tom Lasky, the two developed a rather unusual friendship that developed after Lasky broke things off with Zara Tane. What helped matters between these two was that Plataea laid claim to Kurt Lasky as his mother but she only started that after she and Lasky began dating, which indicated to Lasky that she was serious about their relationship, something he liked, appreciated and prefered. Since Lasky and Yamaguchi went to the same assignment together, he offered to formalize their relationship, he proposed and she accepted, now they face their future and young family together, aboard Vanguard as she is still the last hope for a species. After helping to cure Torilla Yamaguchi of her issues. Plataea was presented with an offer she simply could not refuse, accept a promotion to Captain and take over as Chief Operations Officer of Starbase Vanguard, she accepted without hesitation and quickly assumed her new post. |
