Mission: Mission 38: Last One Out, Get the Lights
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke / USS Dreamcrusher
Timeline: 2100Hrs - July 23rd, 2391

Jake Yamaguchi watched as his wife was packing, a sigh escaped his lips. "Torilla. that was a really stupid thing you did.... you mentally fucked her as bad as Elizabeth did. What were you thinking."

"What does it matter anyway... I tried to help her. "

"By mindfucking her... Torilla seriously.... godammmit!" he growled softly. "You know better than this... I expect this from someone who's an idiot.." Jake fumed. "Not you."

"Well...I'm out of here anyway."

Jake watched as over the next hour, she recycled anything she didn't need, she shoved only the essential clothing she needed into a bag, before tossing the backpack over her shoulder. "Let's go." she growled softly.

Jake looked around at the now-empty quarters. "You're not going to miss this place... are you?" he asked his wife as a realization dawned on him, that she truly hated this assignment, the most recent in a string of assignments that she had hated.

"No. Telios can move in and keep it... I won't miss this ship." Torilla answered quietly.

Jake nodded. "Come on... the twins miss you... and so do I." as the two of them went off down the hallway. Upon arrival at the transporter room. Jake and Torilla were met by Telios Wintersnow. "Commander. Admiral."

"Commander Wintersnow. I hope you are ready for this corner of hell.... how long do you what her for?"

"Until we get back to spacedock."

"Sounds good to me," Torilla responded before gently shaking the other womans hand. "I wish you luck..." she said quietly.

"My luck is built-in... I wish you luck aboard the Dreamcrusher."

"Thank you." and with that, the two parted company as Torilla beamed over to the Dreamcrusher.

Meanwhile, Telios went over towards sickbay where Siaxx Dvald was busy doing paperwork for this incident, the small Bolian woman wasn't happy as she placed the PADD on her desk. "Seriously... and people thought Phoenix and I would kill each other in a week.." a smile escaped her lips as Shonax ruffled her hand. "Hey, beastie.."

"Raarrrooww.." Shonax responded as Siaxx took a moment to feed him a small treat of dried steak. "Only the best for my little man.." as the door opened and in came Zara Tane.

Ensign Elziabeth Yamaguchi cringed almost in terror as she was getting her knee looked at. "Easy Ensign.. its just the skipper."

Siaxx lifted her head. "Zara... Whats up?"

Shonax greeted her with a loud "Rrrraaaaooowww.." as he sat up on the desk while facing the cat.

"I think my allergy shots are -" Zara sneezed heavily while she scratched the rashes on her arms. "...wearing off."

"No worries." Siaxx hopped out of her chair as she came around the desk. "Right this way.." she added a moment later as the cat hopped off the table and followed Siaxx out the door.

"Beth all right?" Zara sniffed. "Kid got a bit jumpy when I entered."

Siaxx went over to the medical cabinet nearby. "She's coming along nicely, her knee should be fully healed in a couple of weeks.... but... she's scared witless of you." Siaxx explained. "Considering your history together... I can't say I really blame her."

"I forgave her.... what's to be scared of?" Zara asked with exasperation.

"She mentally assaulted you Zara," Siaxx explained with a soft smile. "She feels she must atone for her actions. She did you a great wrong and she needs you to know that you forgive her..." she paused. "she feels she's doing penance for her actions against you... I don't get it either... but then, considering you and I had our own share of problems. You hauled me out of bed in the middle of the night because you thought I desecrated a dead body by beaming a hand onto your dinner plate. Remember?"

"Well... That is something you have the demented sense of humor to pull off," Zara tried to smooth over. "I am sorry I jumped to you first, though.

"Bah." Siaxx waved her hand, consigning Zara's words to the dustbin of history. "It could have been a hell of a joke." as a rather evil smile appeared on Siaxx's face. "The Human festival of Halloween is a few months away.... cringe in terror..." she then slowly laughed maniacally.

Elizabeth meanwhile gently placed her hand on Sokanon's shoulder. "Thank you Doctor." she responded quietly as she gently picked up Shadow. "Come on pretty kitty... Lets go for a walk."

"Elizabeth, a moment please," Siaxx's voice came to her ears.

"Shit.." Elizabeth looked down at Shadow and then over to Sokanon. "Is it too late for me to claim insanity?"

"You have been hiding this too long... go on.." Sokanon mewled softly.

"Yeah..." as she hobbled across to where Siaxx was standing next to Zara. "Siaxx... you wanted to see me?" Elizabeth looked down at the two women who were both much shorter and smaller then she herself was.

"You feeling all right? Zara asked with concern to Elizabeth.

"I... Ummm.." Elizabeth paused. "I still need to atone for what I did to you." she admitted, looking down at the deck plating.

"Sit, please," Zara sighed sympathetically. "I don't hold any anger with you anymore. I've forgiven you. I have no intention to seek revenge. You must see that, yes?"

Elizabeth gently sat down on the nearest biobed. "I know... if you wanted vengeance, you would have done it long ago... but I still violated you.." she paused. "I thought I was doing it to protect mom.... I didn't know." she sighed softly. "What I did was still wrong.."

Zara hugged the taller woman, to give her a moment of privacy, is she needed a cry. "You learned from your mistake. That's all any of us can do. And you cannot know pure joy until you let this weight go."

"I can't..... not after what Fives said.... he accused me of violating you again... and he didn't believe me when I tried to deny it.... Zara...I... What is going on aboard ship?"

"Your mom sought to fix my addiction problems via Doctor Stevens' hypnosis techniques..." Zara fought not to cry herself. "I was in the dark about it, naturally. Tom found out though. Told me after he hit your mom. Then your hubby went after Tom for yelling at you."

Elizabeth moved over as she gestured to herself. "Come 'ere." she said softly.

"The people we love are all crazy," Zara laughed nervously.

Elizabeth nodded in agreement. "I know..." she sighed. "This is just crazy... can't these people just talk to each other?"

"I suppose being sober isn't so bad... But I'd of preferred it and accepted it far better had your mum shown tough love instead of having me mindfucked again," Zara spoke more as an afterthought.

Elizabeth quivered, not in sadness but in repressed rage. "After what I did... she makes light of my crime and then repeats it." she hissed.

Siaxx came over as she placed her hands on Elizabeth's shoulders. "Easy sweetie... calm down.... this anger isn't good for the baby.."

Elizabeth seethed. "She has disgraced herself.... and disgraced me.... and she must pay for it.."

"I felt like that when I first found out but..." Zara shrugged and sighed in resignation. "I can't hate people like I used to. And I don't know how to make her pay without stooping to her level."

"I will.... deal with her... myself." Elizabeth was now well and truly enraged as Siaxx stood in front of her. "Beth... please... calm down?" the small Bolian asked softly. "Don't do it sweetie... she's not worth you're anger.. and two wrongs don't make a right... don't do what Kameron did..."

Elizabeth looked at Siaxx. "Alright... you're right..."

"I cuddled with Teval," Zara told Siaxx. "Actually really cozy and sweet."

Siaxx chuckled softly. "That explains the rash." she responded before going to retrieve some medication, before coming back a moment later. "Now Zara... this has enough doses for two weeks... take it once a day and you can cuddle with all the Kurokuri aboard." she responded. "Hell.. you could sleep with Sokanon and she won't protest."

"Wait. what!?" Sokanon responded. "Werner would protest..."

Elizabeth snickered softly as she tried not to laugh.

"I'll take it. I promise," Zara assured her. "I may need to cuddle with him more often anyway."

"Anyone else... will need to go through me." Elizabeth responded quietly."Even Luhanna and Dad don't get near you without being vetted by me."

"Err... OK. But vette Fives. I like him a lot," Zara asked uneasily, for she was not used to seeing Elizabeth like this.

"Fives threatened me..." Elizabeth responded softly. "I will make him pay myself."

"No. you won't... " Siaxx answered quietly. "I know what its like to be assaulted by someone I love... and while she swore she'd never hurt me again and she has kept her word. I still have nightmares about what happened.... I get that your angry Beth... but don't make a dumb decision about this.."

Elizabeth looked down at the small Bolian. "How do you know?"

"I got into a fight with Phoenix... and she smashed my skull in.... I needed three surgeries to repair what she did to me... and for a long time I didn't let her close to me again.. because what she did scared me witless.." she Bolian explained. "Now you're been in this situation twice Beth... and I've seen what its done to you..." Siaxx explained. "But please listen to me.... don't let your hate cloud your judgement... think of the baby... it'll be needing a mother who's mind is clear and she is ready.."

"Fives only threatened you because he thought you mindfucked me again... the same sin you just said you wanted to confront your mom about," Zara pointed out in a very calm, concerned voice. "Give him the time to apologies to you, because he cares about the same things you do."

Elizabeth paused as she slowly nodded. "Alright... I'll give him a chance..." she paused. "But would you mind if I stick in for a new room assignment for myself and Kameron... I don't think I could go back there after what happened."

Siaxx paused. "I can ask Toshnarr to look after you again as your bodyguard Elizabeth... unless you want him Zara?"

"It might not be a bad idea," Zara supposed as she scratched her chin. "At least until I feel safe in my own skin again."

"I'm Sorry.." Elizabeth sounded miserable. "I'll go pack out Kameron and myself and then move to another room after we get back from the Dreamcrusher."

"I wish it hadn't gotten this stupid," Zara told sympathetically to Beth.

Elizabeth sighed softly. "so am I.." she whispered.

"Let me know if you need anything," Zara spoke wholeheartedly.

"I will do that.." Elizabeth answered.
