Mission: Mission 36: The Crusade Against the Infidels
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 0900Hrs - July 1st, 2391

Chief Petty Officer Toshnarr beamed into sickbay, the blooded and battered form of Ensign Elziabeth Yamaguchi in his arms. "Medic!" he called as Siaxx came out of her office. "Bring her over here. what happened?"

"Tienn Iteela assaulted her." Toshnarr's response was simply stunning.

Siaxx regarded Elizabeth before she regarded Toshnarr. "You're kidding me right?" as she went to work tending to the more serious of Elizabeth's wounds as Sokanon came over to assist. "What happened?"

Toshnarr went into an explanation for the Caitian female who hissed angrily. "I'll fucking-"

"Do nothing...." Siaxx said softly. "I mean it Sokanon... Let it be..."

"But.."

I said let it be... let JAG handle it." Siaxx growled softly. "You are a Starfleet Officer, act it..." the small Bolian snapped angrily.

"Yes Doctor." the Caitian responded quietly. "I'm sorry"

"Help me with this... and we need to select someone to inform her family."

"I will do it." Toshnarr responded. "She would not have gotten hurt if it-"

"Its not your fault big man." Siaxx responded. "Even Elizabeth would tell you that."

"Accepting blame is not important, accepting responsibility is." and with that, Toshnarr left sickbay as he queried the computer for the locations of Admiral and Commander Yamaguchi, both were at home.
He turned as he made his way there, thinking his job would be made simpler by telling both at the same time.

He reached his destination a few minutes later, he tapped the door chime once as Torilla greeted him "Chief... whats wrong?"

"Elizabeth is in sickbay being treated for various injuries. As for their cause.... Might I come in?"

"Oh, yes of course.." as she stepped aside for Toshnarr to enter, which he did a moment later. "Admiral." he greeted Elizabeth Yamaguchi's father who was playing with the twins and the cats. "Chief... whats going on?" Jake inquired.

"I must speak with you and the Commander... It concerns Ensign Yamaguchi."

"Right.." Jake turned as he looked at his cousin, one Commander Celeste Yamaguchi who was also getting to know the twins. "Alright come on guys... You don't wanna hear this..." she responded as she gently gathered the half dozen or so cats before she took them all with her into the master bedroom. Leaving Jake and Torilla alone with the massive Gorn.

"Whats going on Chief.?" Jake inquired. "How is Elizabeth?"

"Physically, she was very badly beaten, one of her knees has been destroyed by a kick and she has suffered extensive soft tissue injuries to the extent that she was coughing up blood. Now the good news is that her baby is alright... her attacker seems to have avoided that part of her body."

Jake listened in growing horror as the dark memories of what happened at the academy and its aftermath came back to him. "My god.." he whispered.

"We'll be there for her." Torilla was saying. "Thank you so much Chief for bringing us the news in person."

"I apologize for bothering you at home but I felt you both needed to know... her attacker her been arrested and will be dealt with..."

"Alright." and with that, Toshnarr took his leave.

Jake turned to his wife and he could see it in her eyes, the fear, the anger and the black rage that he could feel in his own heart. "You remember what happened the last time this happened?"

Torilla nodded her head. "I do... yes." she admitted. "I remember the aftermath.. James Slone was arrested and her name was dragged through the mud.."

Jake nodded. "Celeste. you can come out now." he called his cousin who emerged. "What happened?"

"Elizabeth is in sickbay, she has been very badly beaten."

Celeste raised an eyebrow. "I see.." she regarded Jake. "I assume her attacker is at large?"

"No, he or she has been arrested." Jake responded.

"Leave it be Jake.." Celeste gently placed her hands on his shoulders. "I can hear you thinking... I can see in your eyes.... you want to go down there and rend them limb from limb.. for what this asshole did to your little girl.... I'm going to ask you... don't do it... you'll only make things worse for all involved."

Jake sighed softly. "Yeah..." he whispered. "Alright.."

"Good..." Celeste smiled at him. "Justice will be done... We have the most stubborn Security Chief in the entire Fleet on this ship.. so you're in good hands Jake... but let the system work..."

Torilla nodded. "She's my daughter too... and we got other problems to worry about.."

Jake nodded. "I won't go down there and tear him or her a new one.... as he or she deserves.." he paused. "as much as I'd like to."

Torilla gently gave her husband a hug. "Thank you."
