Mission: Mission 36: The Crusade Against the Infidels
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 0930Hrs - July 1st, 2391

Lieutenant Commander Siaxx Dvald or Siaxx Sullivan as she now preferred to be called, she had yet to make the change permanent as she sat down behind her desk

She had called a small meeting of the senior people in sickbay to inform them of recent events and changes. "Is everyone here?"

Just then the only female Caitian assigned to sickbay came around the corner and slipped through the doors as she took the last remaining seat.

Siaxx looked at the gathered personnel. "Okay... We need to figure out how the knee surgery for Elizabeth Yamaguchi is going to work." she turned to Windspirit. "Do you mind if I give that one to you?" she inquired. "I want my best for that one and you're not compromised by Tienn losing her mind."

"Yeah I can do it," Windspirit replied

"Alright.," Siaxx responded. "Sokanon, until further notice... you're now assigned to the tower sickbay... When Elizabeth gets well, she will rejoin you up there."

"Understood," Sokanon responded. "The change of scenery will be good for me."

Siaxx nodded her head as she took a moment to take a sip of her drink. "Okay... Where are we with the drugs investigation?" she inquired. "Do we know anything we didn't know already?"

"The drugs found in Aryssa Sullivan's system were extremely potent, not to mention their toxic nature to humans.." Sokanon explained. "The lab is still processing the tests... they should have the results back to us in a few hours or so Ensign Archer told me."

"Okay. I'll go see Archie and see if he can give me an update after we finish here." Siaxx commented. "Elizabeth is presently convalescing in recovery room one, right Toshnarr?"

"Indeed, she seems to be comfortable... though prying Flight Officer Yamaguchi from her presence is somewhat difficult," Toshnarrr answered in a dry tone.

"No. Leave him be... He needs to know that she is okay and she needs him." Siaxx responded with a knowing smile. "How soon before you can sort her knee out Windspirit?"

"I can start as soon as tomorrow. I can give oyur new technology a field test Nalla with this surgery, it will greatly reduce the time required for this Operation." the small female answered.

"Alright..." Siaxx paused as she sighed. "Nalla. I would like for you to assist Windspirit, we can really use your new tech for this... give its first trial under fire."

Nalla was not entirely sure why she had been asked to attend this meeting. Rarely had she been involved in things of this nature. So she remained silent and stoic, as was what she was known for.

Sokanon inquired. "Doctor, what of the rest of us."

"Continue with your duties as normal. I don't think any of us saw this coming... not from Tienn... Everyone, keep working as if nothing has changed... if we need new people then let me know... I can get us a few medic's off of the Alexander the Great and the Stalingrad" Siaxx explained. "Between the Elizabeth case and the Aryssa case.. I know we have our hands full but... We can do this... Because I know we're the best... any questions?"

It seemed straight forward, so Nalla nodded, but quickly added, "Miss Sullivan's case fits best with my specialties, but I will endeavor to train Doctor Windspirit how to use my device."

Siaxx nodded. "Okay." she responded. quietly. "Anything else?

"I find that if I were on a Vulcan posting, I would flourish as CMO... But here, Captain Tane demoted me because of my inability to articulate well with my peers," Nalla noted with a confused headbob. "I am wondering if you could help me improve, once we settle these two matters."

Siaxx regarded Nalla before she nodded her head. "I can do that. yes." she responded quietly. "anyone else?"

"None that I can think of," Nalla answered dutifully.

Siaxx nodded. "Alright... dismissed everyone, let's go to work.."

"Aye," Nalla agreed, nodded respectfully to Siaxx, and left to her duties.
