Mission: Mission 17: The Drug-Dimmed Tide
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 1800Hrs - December 15th, 2390

Corporal Olga Vaal sat at the bay windows looking out over space, weeping in silence. Two security guards came around the corner and stopped at Olga.

"Excuse me Corporal, I'm Petty Officer Smith. This is a restricted area. Would you please leave now?" The taller security guard asked.

Olga looked at him. "Oh come on. This is observation deck. What could I possibly do here?" She replied.

"You may be correct Corporal but you still have to leave the area." Smith politely responded. Olga looked at him and flipped him off. "Alright Corporal, I'm escorting you out of the area. Please come with us."

"I'm not going anywhere." Olga replied.

"As you wish, Rogers we need to grab her." At that both men picked Olga up and started to carry her off, each grabbing on of her arms.

At first Olga went along. Then, Olga smashed Roger's knee and the man fell in pain. Olga then kneed Smith in the gut. As Smith reeled, Olga grabbed him by the shoulders and slammed him head first into the wall. She then turned to Rogers and gave him several swift kicks to his torso.

Olga then turned to Smith again but he had already pulled his phaser. She shot Olga on heavy stun and the women fell in a heap.

Orthos sighed softly as he got the report from two enlisted security guards about a Corporal Olga. "Blast it Daisy, why do you guys always pull stupid shit." he rose to his feet as he walked off of the bridge to go and deal with Daisy once and for all. this shit had to stop.

He walked into the Marine spaces as he knocked on Daisy's office door, PADD in hand.

Werner, who was cleaning a Phaser rifle addressed Orthos. "excuse me Chief, if your lookin' for the Captain she is down in the brig getting out one of our guys."

"Yes.. I figured." and with that he turned as he marched out the door.

Five minutes later. "Daisy... we need to talk." he commented as he regarded the Corporal who had been set loose from the brig.

Daisy's face was red, Olga was quiet and starred at the deck. "Those little turds from security detained one of my people." She told Orthos. "Can you believe their gall?"

Orthos held up the PADD. "Actually... yes." he commented. "She assaulted two of them, they are both in sickbay..." he turned to Olga. "You mashed up two guys from Security. Lieutenant Sheridan wants your head."

Olga kept her head down and didn't look Orthos in the eyes. "Well, I was allowed to be there. They had no right to grab me."

"Well.. since the Captain has sprung you." he sighed. "I recommend you depart Corporal before I have you re-arrested..."

"Excuse me Chief," Daisy's voice inflected on 'Chief' "This is Marine country. She belongs here." Daisy told Orthos.

"Another word from you... you'll join her.." he turned as a malevolent glare appeared on his face. "Move the fuck out of here Corporal." he paused. "Get the fuck outta my face...." he snarled, he was in full Master Chief mode now.

Daisy turned a bright red. "You don't come into my fucking department and threaten me. Ever!" Daisy shouted and started to look much more feral.

"You don't get it do you.... you can't discipline you're people properly, I have two guys in sickbay that got smacked around and you're letting your woman free... what the fuck it is with you?"

"These are my Marines and I'll deal with her. You can tell that gigolo, Saint to train his little thugs to a higher standard so they don't get there pathetic asses kicked so often." Daisy said through clenched teeth.

"You and your Marines can't go around kicking other people around... you're here to help Security with policing... they don't assist you.... and if I hear that another one of your Marines tangles with any of my enlisted guys... You'll be the one who answers for it." he growled. "Do I make myself clear!" he roared at her

Daisy was quivering with anger. Her hair was now in wild state. Her left eye was twitching. "I do not answer to you." She said slowly and full of contained anger. Werner moved to stand behind Daisy.

"Wrong." Orthos answered. "I'm the Ships Chief of the Boat...
Which means this is matter for me to deal with.... "

Duval came over along with a couple of others. "Back to work guys... nothing to see.." he growled. "Werner... you too." he commented quietly. "Master Chief... this ain't the place for this.."

"Yeah... I get that..." he gave Daisy a truly evil look.

Daisy starred back at Orthos, snarling. She motioned Olga to move into Daisy's office which Olga did. Daisy only starred at Orthos as she walked back to her office. Werner gave Duval a quick, friendly nod and went back to his rifle.

Duval was standing between Daisy and Orthos, he was larger and more massive then both of them as he went over to where the Marine CO's office was located, he wanted a word with her but he could wait.

Orthos growled before he turned and departed.

Daisy was pacing in her office. Olga sat in Daisy's chair. "Damn it Olga!" Daisy yelled. "Why in the blazing name of fucking hell did you do that?"

Olga just looked at the deck. "I'm sorry Daisy. They grabbed me and I just lost it." Olga apologized. "I haven't lost it like that since 76'."

"When you were a Gunnery Sergeant and got busted down to buck Private and lost your teaching position at Star Fleet Academy?" Daisy asked. "I can't protect you from shit like this."

Olga started to cry. "I'm sorry I ruined it between you and Orthos. I know you really like him."

Daisy sat on her desk. "That's not your fault. We were bound to fight over something." Daisy stood up and went over to Olga. Daisy than kissed Olga on the forehead. "I'm still not sure what to do with you. I do know that you will make an apology to the two security guards and try and try to make amends." Olga just slowly nodded in response.
