Mission: Mission 17: The Drug-Dimmed Tide
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 1810Hrs - December 15th, 2390

Gunny Duval knocked on the door after Corporal Olga had departed as he knew what was going to happen. "Daisy... what was that all about?"

"Please come inside Gunny." Daisy told him. "Make yourself comfortable."

Duval walked into the office and sat down on an ammo crate that doubled as a bench. "Whats going on?"

"Yeah. You deserve an explanation." Daisy sighed. "Olga is like a sister to me. She saved my life on Rasna Secondus. We're very close." Daisy explained. "I know she has her flaws but she is a very good Marine."

"To the point where the master Chief has to come in here and tear various people a new one Daisy... ?" he inquired as he regarded her. "Are you going to go talk to him at least?"

Daisy sighed. "I'll talk to Orthos when I'm ready, Gunny." Daisy sighed. "Olga has really never been the violent type. When she was assigned to my platoon back in the 11th Marines she had just been busted back down to Private from Sergeant. She took a shuttle and was AWOL for about three weeks. She never gave me any problems."

"I'm not worried about her..." he commented. "I'm worried about you." he raised an eyebrow as he pulled off his cover before he ran his nails to scratch an inch, a sigh escaped his lips as he did. "Dammit Daisy... You can't mouth off the Exec... I checked... he was acting as the Exec..."

Daisy sighed. "It was more than that Gunny." Daisy starred at her desk. "It's kinda personal. Besides even the XO knows better than to come into a department and take over without talking to the head first. The chain of command works both and and down."

"I see.." he commented evenly. "I'd still recommend you talk to him before the issue becomes toxic.."

Daisy thought about Duval's last comments. "Maybe but right now I'm still to seriously pissed off."

Duval simply turned his head from her to the door and then back to her. "Don't leave it too long.." he commented. "But I'll leave it with you..."

"Alright, thank you Gunny." Daisy replied.

Duval rose to his feet before he took his leave. "I'm going to arrange a few drills.... but I want to start chapter paperwork on LaBrosse. He's not improving.."

"Yes, other NCOs have complained about him." Daisy replied. "The sooner you can have that written up the faster we can send him back to civilian life."

"Alright... it shouldn't take me too long..." he commented. "Anything else you need done?"

"No Gunny, that is all. Thank you." Daisy answered.

Duval nodded as he turned and departed.
