Bachelorette Party - Part One

Mission: Mission 6: Q-ualty Time
Location: Various Locations - Starbase 400
Timeline: 1900Hrs - February 10th, 2389

Deela wanted to do something for Alex. Alex was getting married and Deela thought it would be nice to have a party for her. Deela got word that not only was there a wedding in Alex's very near future, Jewel was getting married the next week. So she decided to have on big party on the holodeck for both.

Deela sent out an invite to the women on the base:

"It's time for us girls to mix and mingle.
These are Alex Harrison's and Jewel Dartts's last few days of being single.
Time is ticking and the bells will soon chime.
Let's get crazy while there is still time!

Tomorrow @ 1800 hours in Holodeck 1."

PARTY DAY

Deela arrived at holodeck 1, entered a program into the computer and walked into a night club setting. She waited for the guests to arrive.

Jewel was in her quarters getting ready for the Bachelorette party. She put on a nice outfit, and done her hair very nice most of it down while only some was pulled back. She smiled as she felt that this was going to release some stress.

She just hoped that no drama she just wanted to enjoy the day before she would get married. When she finished getting ready she walked out of her quarters and headed towards the holodeck. After a few moments she reached the holodeck and walked in. She smiled as she seen Deela, "You have out done yourself this time," Jewel said with a smile.

"Thank you. I hope this setting is okay. It as all of the elements of a great party. Music, drinks and good friends." Music was playing but it wasn't too loud.

Soon later both M'Kota and T'Lyn entered, M'Kota went for the bar while T'Lyn just looked around not sure what the purpose of this was. She nodded to Jewel as she took a seat at a nearby table.

the door opened and in walked Commander Torilla Yamaguchi who was wearing a cocktail dress, it was cut high on the leg as it hung to her curves as she smiled. "Lovely... I so love a good party." she commented

Alex walked in and smiled. The lighting wasn't too dark and the volume of the music was just right. She saw Deela and greeted her, "Deela, I love, love, love it. I can't wait to see what else you have planned for us."

"You're welcome Alex. You deserve it. I hope you don't mind sharing the limelight with Jewel."

Alex shook her head, "No, I don't mind. I think it was smart to combine them. Thanks again."

Deela smiled, "Good. How about a drink?" Alex joined her at the bar.

Jewel walked up to both of them, "Hello Alex, how are things going?" Jewel asked with a smile. She had a drink in her hand but wasn't alcohol but a soda as she was pregnant.

Alex replied,"Things seem to be going great."

Torilla came over to the three woman. "Ladies.." she commented as she
smiled. "Alex, Jewel.... Lets celebrate your last hours of being single.."

The door opened as another woman entered, this one was wearing her duty uniform as she came over to Torilla. "Hello." she commented as Torilla looked at her. "Elizabeth... what?"

"Hey Mom." with that Elizabeth hugged her mother.

Jewel smiled at how Torilla was happy to see her daughter.

Saith entered the “night club” dressed in a short cocktail dress. Maal had assured her that it was appropriate, although considering his exact words, she wasn't at all convinced that is what he meant. She paused in the doorway, and like any good Security officer took a look, before she committed to entering. Finally, she moved away from the door as a shorter woman with dark hair came in. Although she didn't know her personally, Saith recognized Sarah Ashley, a nurse on the base. Saith got a drink from the bar and looked around for Alex. She was standing in a group of people, so Saith found a table and sat down.

Sarah ducked into the holodeck and grinned. She had to move around a taller, very pretty woman to get in. She bounced over to the bar and got her drink, non-alcoholic as she would have to go on duty in an hour. She then started making the rounds smiling and saying hello to everyone. Finally, she got to where Alex and Jewel were both standing, “Congrats to both of you! What a wonderful thing.” she said with great enthusiasm.

"Thank you Sarah," Jewel said with a smile. "Thanks for sharing it with us," she smiled looking at her. Soon Sasha walked in wearing a dress and smiled at Jewel. "Well Congrats boss," Sasha said with a smile. "Were off duty call me Jewel," She said as she chuckled.

Sasha nodded and moved off to get a drink and the mingle with the others.

Fashionably late, Janice and Becca arrived. Janice headed for the bar, but she was good and only ordered a water. 'Mike would be proud' she thought.

Becca said hellos to the people she knew, T'Lar, Racheal, then walked over to Harrison.

"Congratulations, I know you and Captain Pike have been waiting for this day."

Alex smiled brightly, "Yes we have. I am so glad that you could come."

Jewel seen Janice enter and smiled, "Well it's good you made it." Jewel smiled and gave her sister a hug. She nodded at Becca and smiled.

"I wouldn't miss this for the world" Janice replied. She looked around, start the music, it's time to make this a party!"

Jewel smiled as the music started play again, It was good to see Janice out having some fun. After the events of the last couple of days this was a good way to unwind and have some fun.

Torilla smiled as she accepted a glass from a passing holographic waiter as\she watched her daughter accept a potent drink from another. "So... Mom, who's the lady that's getting hitched, Dad never said..."

Torilla indicated Alex. "You recall the sexy thing over there?"

Elizabeth smiled "I do indeed.... wait, her wedding?"

"Well not just her, the General over there is also getting married at the same time, apparently it'll be a dual event." Torilla explained to the woman who resembled her in so many ways.

"Oh..." Elizabeth went over to Alex. "Alex... Congratulations...." as the doors opened and in came a rather tall woman, wearing a black cocktail dress, she was tanned with long blond hair and blue eyes, the unusual part was that she was heavy pregnant as Torilla smiled. "Savannah," she commented as the pregnant woman came over to Torilla. "You look good sweetie." Torilla commented.

"Its great to see you again, mom..." Savannah commented evenly. "I'm here to party before this little one puts in an appearance.." she commented as Torilla smiled. "The Captain who is talking to Elizabeth and the General over there, so... celebrate."

Jewel was on the dance floor dancing, thinking to herself 'seems like a family reunion. She started to get depressed again but didn't let it show. After the song was over she went and sat at the far side of the bar and got something a bit stronger to drink but nothing that would harm the child.

That was where Phoenix ended up at. She arrived very sneakily in order to avoid conversation. Hitting the bar was the only thing she wanted to do, really. And judging by the two empty pints of beer, and a nearly full glass in her hand, anyone could tell Phoenix was deliberately getting herself plastered.

She looked at Phoenix and rolled her eyes, she thought to herself she better not start any trouble. She just ignored Phoenix she wasn't going to deal with it. This was her and Alex's day before getting married a week apart from each other. Jewel just took another drink and walked away from the bar area.

Elizabeth Yamaguchi finally ran into the woman she had been tacking for close to ten minutes now. "General, may I walk with you...." she smiled at the taller woman, it was said that Elizabeth was a near identical copy of her mother except she was slightly stockier and a couple of inches taller at 6'2 tall rather then the even six foot of her amazon of a mother.

She looked at her and smiled, "You can call me Jewel, were not on duty...well at least I don't think we are," she laughed looking at her. "Of course." Jewel smiled.

"I heard, Mom spoke almost reverently of you.... I have no idea why though as getting that woman to say anything nice about anyone other then family is like having a baby." the Cadet spoke with a wide smile. "Still... you're getting married and that is worthy of celebration..."

"Indeed, and I must have that charm." She laughed at her own statement. "Your mother is a good officer," she added with a smile.

Meanwhile Torilla was talking with Alex as Rachael seemed to congeal from out of the shadows, "Oh hi ladies... am I late?" the teenager asked as she looked at Alex. "So... this is your bachelorette party Alex, looks to be quite a bash..."
