"I hope so. I am so glad that you were able to pull yourself away from Paul long enough to join us." Alex snickered. "Feel free to get a drink as long as it doesn't contain alcohol."

"Well... don't worry, I won't be getting hammered like the drunk at the bar.... miserable old sot she is."

At the same time, Alex had just taken a a sip of her drink when she practically choked on it.

"Rachael... watch your mouth young lady." Torilla commented, every inch the mother as a few people within earshot all chuckled softly at that.

Rachael looked at her mother. "It's still true... isn't that right General?"

She looked, "Don't bring me into this," Jewel laughed looking at Rachel with a smile.

Rachael chuckled softly as Torilla sighed softly. "Rachael, drink up and go have fun... and stop giving your old codger of a mother grey hairs before her time.

"You could always talk to the 'Miserable old sot' instead of insulting her right out tha start'n gate," Phoenix intoned with indifference to Rachael, then scratched a spot on her shoulder, right above the tattooed numbers.

Had the CAG not been numb already to her pain, thanks in largely from her alcohol intake, she might of been more conscious about the ink. Which clearly shown above the black strapless dress she was wearing.

Rachael looked at the woman at the bar who'm she didn't know. "Then tell me something...." the thirteen year old asked. "Why are you in such a hurry to drown your sorrows...."

"When you're older, someone might explain it," Phoenix both answered and evaded as she took another sip of her fuzzy beverage.

Jewel looked at both Rachael and Phoenix very closely to make sure there wasn't anything started.

Elizabeth Yamaguchi came over as she had a feeling this woman would start something with her smaller sibling. "Whats going on?" Beth looked at Rachael.

"Are you causing a disturbance?"

"I was just asking a question..."

"Nothing but drinking. Which both of you are too young to start doing," the pilot answered, inwardly gritting her teeth, as she felt like she was in one of those irritating counseling sessions. "Not rightly sure what the other gals are doin'n."

Saith had also been watching Phoenix from her table. She watched as the two young ladies engaged her in conversation. Taking a drink of her own, she scanned the room; others were watching as well, but Saith was Assistant Security Chief now, if something needed handled she would do it. Still, it ran through her mind that Phoenix obviously wanted to sit and drink, the girls had approached her, and like Saith’s own experiences she was sure if something did happen it would be blamed on Phoenix. Starfleeters apparently couldn’t mind their own business, Saith thought not for the first time.

Elizabeth noticed the numbers on the other woman's shoulder but she didn't point that out to the Colonel. "Phoenix, why don't you come over here and join us... get to know us instead of walling yourself up over there.... "

Torilla meanwhile was watching her two daughters very carefully as she was truly hoping this wasn't going to turn into a major incident, she didn't understand the Colonel as she raised an eyebrow, then she realized what exactly was going on so she turned back to Alex "Alex... what are you doing tomorrow?"

Alex thought for a moment, "I am studying up on Klingon weddings. I have no clue what my part in the wedding is. Does Klingon weddings even have Maids of honor or bride's maids. But if any of you know the answer, please, tell me. I'm a little worried about messing it up."

"I know there is a party of guards for the bride and groom... they attack the groom and attempt to beat him to death. the bride and groom fight them off... its got something to do with the fight at Kahless's wedding." Torilal explained with a smile "Duval gets to attack you... how cute. Its a real shame my husband isn't going to be there.... Jake is off with the Courageous battlegroup."

Tressa Brislan walked into the busy room and smiled at Jewel; she was just beginning to show her pregnancy. From the corner of her eye she saw Phoenix at the bar but the Major was facing away. She considered leaving, unsure that she was ready to face her patient, or rather, former patient.

Deela saw Tressa walk in. Tressa's emotion that she was feeling when she saw Phoenix, Deela sensed it quickly. Deela went over to her, "Tressa, I am so glad that you made it. Don't worry about Phoenix. She will probably forget about this party in an hour." Deela joked.

The doctor watched as Phoenix lifted another drink to her lips. "That's what I'm afraid of," she said softly as she hugged Deela in greeting. Just being in her friend's presence made Tressa feel better. "You've made everything so beautiful," she added, smiling in spite of herself.

Deela was about to lead Tressa to her table, when Q and Q3 showed up, "Q and Q, do you not see that this party is for women only? Please leave...now."

Q shook his head, " Hello T'Lar. You are looking wonderful as always." He partially bowed down to her, "Q, I mean, Q3 is intrigued by this...bachelorette party that only women are allowed to attend. I hope you..." Q3 interrupted, "Where are the strippers? There are supposed to be strippers...male strippers."

Deela sighed, "No strippers Q3, sorry. I think that tradition is just not appropriate for women to watch men strip down to nothing, especially, Starfleet officers. Now please go. You are not female so you..are...NOT...invited, capish?"

"Come on Q." Q said to Q3 in a disappointed voice, "Come on. I know when we are not wanted around." Q3 got this smile across his face. All the sudden, Alex and Jewel were sitting in chairs and the Chippendale dancers were gyrating around the two ladies to the tune of YMCA, an old 20th century song. Alex's face turned beet red. She spied the Q's standing and watching.

Deela yelled at Q, "Q. Stop!!!" But the music was too loud.

Phoenix unintentionally ignored the kids in front of her and instantly began to pull latnium strips from her handbag. Once she had her coin, she began to walk wobbly over to the brides and pulled up a chair of her own.

"5 strips to the one that lap dances on me," Phoenix yelled over the loud music.

Jewel rolled her eyes, "Enough Q!" Jewel growled and tried to get up but couldn't. She was now annoyed and getting frustrated with this Q. "You sure know how to ruin a party don't you?" Jewel growled.

Elizabeth growled softly "Q!" she hissed as she looked at the male strippers who were standing around the two ladies that were about to get married as she watched the drunk woman go over to sit next to them.

Torilla went over to her daughters. "Rachael... you're too young for this"

"So it would seem mom." Rachael commented as her attention was fixed on Q. "He really is so bored with life."

Torilla raised an eyebrow. "How do you mean?"

"Think about it Mom.... It takes a child to understand a child..." she explained. "From my point of view, he's so terribly bored that he'll go out and create any sort of drama for his own amusement.... though its always so tragically short."

Beth raised an eyebrow. "She does have a point mom."

"Indeed... she does.." she commented

They were interrupted by a clatter of dishes as a woman suddenly fell to her knees.... "Shit..." Savannah gasped as Torilla almost leapt to her side. "Easy, I have you..." she gently supported the younger woman in her embrace as Beth came over with Rachael in tow as Torilla watched as Doctor Brislan came over. "Beth, call Gabe to meet us at the infirmary..."
