Mission: Mission 106: Restitutions and Resolutions
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 1100Hrs, October 17th, 2393

Fleet Captain Siaxx Dvald-Vaxx trudged down the hallway, she was tired and her feet were sore, as she wasn't used to walking this much and it showed as she was getting slower and slower for the same distance. She was off to see her husband, as she entered the science wing of the Starbase on level two thousand forty. She regarded the receptionist. "Hello. I'm looking for Master Chief Chen Vaxx. My husband is not expecting me but could you let him know I'm here to see him?" she asked of the young Bajoran seated behind the desk.

"Of course ma'am." the young woman answered as she tapped out a message on the display before her before she sent it off. "He'll be along shortly ma'am," she added. Dvald-Vaxx gently slid her oversized form into a chair as she knew she could be here awhile.

Meanwhile, in science lab nine. Master Chief Petty Officer Chen Vaxx sighed softly as he regarded the display before him. The doors opened and in came Commander Fardreamer. "Hey Chen, I hate to bug you but Captain Dvald-Vaxx is at the front gate, she's asking for you."

Vaxx turned to address his boss, he knew Siaxx wasn't the type to drop everything and come running when an issue needed to be resolved. "Is she alright..."

"Well the yeoman didn't report he having any issues, she walked in, asked for you and then took a seat." Fardreamer paused as he regarded the older male before him. "Don't worry about the analysis too much. If you wanna take a few hours to look after things. I won't mind... "

"You... Thank you, sir." he rose to his feet and he passed the Commander. "I'll be back as soon as I can."

"That's not required Chief... Your wife needs you more then we do. Besides, if Yulaan ever found out I kept you here when your wife who is pregnant with your child came for you and I refused you in her hour of need. I'd never hear the end of it... and that's if she even gave me the chance to address the issue in the first place." Fardreamer smiled. "Yulaan is teaching me about how the Deltan mind works... Its been an experience."

Vaxx regarded the human before him. "Keyan... Are you having intimate relations with a Deltan?"

"We're heading in that direction but she and I are taking precautions... I wish I could know the full joining of sharing minds when we mate... But the average human mind can't take it." he paused. "But there are always alternatives and other ways to go about the matter... I mean why charge in the front door when I can slip in the side entrance." Fardreamer smiled at his pun.

"So long as you are aware of the issues and risks..." Vaxx answered quietly.

Fardreamer nodded his head in agreement. "I have been aware of the risks since Yulaan and I started spending time together., She has educated me of them, at length." he frowned but not from malice but rather out of concern. "I'd be lying if I said it didn't bother me." he paused. "I'd like to be able to take her to bed and know what it feels like to mate with a Deltan but... I can't... Not until both Yulaan and I are both satisfied that our arrangements are both in order."

Vaxx found himself knowing where the other man was coming from. "The fact that I can take my wife home and mate with her at any time, has to drive you insane... Doesn't it?"

"No, because I am not having intimate relations with you or your spouse," Fardreamer commented. "Siaxx is a beautiful woman. However, I do not desire her." Fardreamer paused. "On your way Master Chief, she is waiting for you, we can chat later."

"Sounds good sir, till later then." and with that, the massive Bolian walked out of the science lab heading back to the main science admin area. He found his spouse dozing in a chair as he smiled at her. "Siaxx..." he whispered. "Siaxx..." he added a moment later. "Hey... You called for me?" he inquired as the smaller Bolian's eyes flickered open. "Mmm... Chen... I need your help with a problem." she commented.

Vaxx noted two things instantly, this issue was not pregnancy-related with honestly calmed him down and Siaxx had not had a mishap, but then if she had, it would be the Hospital calling him to drop everything and come visit now, as in right this second. "Sure, let's go home Siaxx and you can tell of the issue at hand..."

Dvald-Vaxx rose to her feet before the two departed, heading for their quarters. Vaxx noticed his wife was having issues with walking so he gently scooped her up into his arms, she was not a heavy or large woman as he carried her in his arms, the same as he would for his children. "Relax..." he said evenly.
Dvald-Vaxx instantly did so as she let out a soft sigh. "My feet..." she admitted.

"Starfleet boots never have enough soft padding," Vaxx answered as the two made their way through hallways and a turbolift before reading their home.
Vaxx gently set his spouse down upon the deck as she smiled up at him. "Thanks for the lift."

"No worries, thanks for not struggling," Vaxx answered as the two entered their quarters. Vaxx sat down on one of the sofas before Dvald-Vaxx gently nestled herself onto his lap. "Mmmmm..." the small female Bolian moaned softly at her husband.

Vaxx gently coiled his arms around her, to steady her. "Oooh, I know what you want... But after we talk... Okay?"

"Okay," Dvald-Vaxx answered quietly. "See... I want to resolve this issue with Admiral Lasky but he ... He's not interested in even making the attempt." Dvald-Vaxx sighed. "I tried and he wasn't interested. We started off discussing Rachael... and it got out of hand quickly. He asked me what had changed in the fourteen months since I tried last."

"Well, you've gotten your real rank back, you've had two pregnancies and assignment as second officer, colonial liaison officer, and the First officer on one of the most important starbases in the Taurus Reach," Vaxx explained. "You aren't the same woman you were a year ago." he paused. "All of that is what's happened here on Vanguard alone... You got offered command of a Century class cruiser but you turned that down."

"The Norfolk, stupid name, if you ask me... I don't know what it means." Dvald-Vaxx answered quietly.

"Its the name of a city, on Earth Siaxx..." Vaxx gently chided his spouse for her lack of memory on anything that didn't interest her, it was something she and Chen would discuss often. "With quite the history attached to it, if memory serves." as he regarded his spouse with a smile.

"I know... I know..." Dvald-Vaxx answered with a soft sigh. "But... Will you assist me with Lasky?"

"Of course... I've never let you fight your battles alone... You are my spouse, so your battles are my battles... We will deal with Lasky once and for all... and maybe we can hammer out a peace we can all live with..." Vaxx commented evenly. "But before we do... I will assist you with your stress relief. Come on, I'll let you have your way with me." as Vaxx smiled at his wife as he stood up, Dvald-Vaxx kicked off her boots before she slipped off her jacket, she then moved into the bedroom, her husband followed in silence.
