Location: Various Locations - USS Dreamcrusher
Timeline: 0900Hrs, May 29th, 2392

Lieutenant Elizabeth Yamaguchi smiled as she went down the hallway towards her destination, the lounge as she had requested part of the morning off from her usual duties which to her surprise. Commander Celeste Yamaguchi had granted her request as Elizabeth had cited mental health issues and Celeste knew that the younger woman was under a great deal of stress, mostly because of the fact that she was pregnant and also due to the recent death of her mother almost two weeks earlier.

From the other direction came Lieutenant Ourops Yamaguchi, who was also wearing her own uniform except she was slightly leaner and smaller than Elizabeth, considering she had never been pregnant where as this would be Elizabeth's second, the first one of her own.

"Elizabeth. What did you do to your hair?" Ouros inquired, as she noticed the change with her twin.

"Like it?" Elizabeth inquired of her twin.

"Well, you sure look different but then people will easily tell us apart now." Ouros paused. "Heading my way?" she inquired of her twin.

"Where is that?" Elizabeth asked gently.

"The lounge. Mom is meeting me there." Ouros responded with a smile. "I think she has a thing for Tom Lasky but doesn't tell anyone I told you that." Ouros regarded Elizabeth with a look.

The idea that Plataea Unal had a thing for Tom Lasky was something that Elizabeth really did not see coming on any level whatsoever. "I can understand. He would be like a forbidden fruit to her." Elizabeth answered with a smile. "Sure. Why not." the two women smiled evilly at each other before Elizabeth then followed Ouros to her destination, her husband beside her. he too held his silence.

The double doors to the lounge parted at the approach of the three people as Commander Plataea Yamaguchi waited within, she was wearing her own uniform while the tall female stood near the replicators. She smiled at the approach of her eldest, she had not been expecting Ouro's twin or her twin's husband. "Hey guys." she greeted the three with a hug each. "It's good to see you two," Plataea commented.

"It's good to be seen," Kameron responded in a light tone of voice. "How are you doing?" he asked of Plataea.

"I have no complaints. For my part that is.. I know you guys however do." the older woman let out a soft sigh. "I just started to process that my twin was gone forever and now I hear that she's not. She's alive and well. After a fashion." she paused.

"I don't get it either," Elizabeth answered softly. "I was just starting to process it."

"It's gonna be okay sweetie," Plataea responded. "So.. Shall we eat?"

"Yes, sounds like a great idea." Kameron returned with a smile.

Ouros regarded her twin before she smiled. "Computer. Time to order breakfast." and with that, she ordered a large meal for three with two pitchers of soda, before she lifted the two jugs while Elizabeth lifted the large pizza and the two women came over to the table so the foursome could eat a large meal. Kameron lifted a slice and began to eat in silence while Ouros regarded Elizabeth. "How is your little one doing?"

Elizabeth smiled. "Well. It's doing okay last I checked," she responded. "But I have a few people watching this pregnancy with interest. One of them is your son's girlfriend." the large female said to Plataea.

"I know you and Tienn have issues," Plataea commented softly. "At least you two are making an effort without killing each other."

"Tienn. She was drugged but she was never the intended target of that, it was actually supposed to be her girlfriend at the time, another Bajoran named Benice Gyce." she paused. "Tienn and I got into a fight where she mopped the floor with me. Since then I went back into the martial arts and it's coming along slowly." she paused before the large woman let out a sigh.

"How are you taking the news that your mom is alive?" Ouros inquired.

"I honestly don't know what to think on the subject," Elizabeth responded softly.

"Well. I do. if it'll help you." Plataea commented softly.

"Oh?" Elizabeth inquired. "How so?"

"Well. Don't sweat the small stuff and let her explain what happened to you in her own time, she isn't in her own body as you know, she's in an Akurian one and this is a massive change for her, far more for her than it is for you." Plataea explained with a smile on her lips. "She's used to being six foot tall and having psionic and telepathic abilities, now she's about four and a half feet tall with nothing to back that up. She's feeling lost and helpless. I can sense her mental state but she can't sense mine or anyone else. Try to be understanding with her about things and give her time to adjust... The rest will attend to itself..."

"I'm not. I'm. I'm just glad she's okay." Elizabeth responded quietly.

"Well, that's different than I expected. I was expecting more of what happened with Gabe. He's really upset over the entire chain of events from his mother dying to be revived in a different body. He is taking this very poorly."

"Gabe was very close to mom, more so them myself or Rachael," Elizabeth responded before the big woman let out a soft sigh. "He's going to take longer to adjust than myself or Rachael. Paul, Tressa, and Diamond are all too young to know about their mom." she let out a soft sigh.

"Don't worry about it. Gabe will come around when he's ready. You just worry about yourself and the unborn baby you're carrying. Let Rachael worry about herself when the time comes." Plataea smiled. "Now. Let's eat and let the worrying be done later."

"Sounds like a great idea," Elizabeth responded before she eagerly turned her attention to the food before her.
