Mission: Mission 82: It Is War’s Prize to Take All Vantage.
Location: Derelict Klingon Ship - IKS 'run'SaL
Timeline: 1750Hrs - April 21st, 2392

In the chaos of the fighting, many could be forgiven for thinking that various people had wandered off but in this case, it was more that Chief Petty Officer R'Merah had simply been separated from his team. so now R'Merah was on his own as he slowly padded his way down the hallway, he could smell Caitian flesh in the hallway and he knew that a Caitian was close by.

He pictured in his mind that what he was smelling was a Caitian female that was helpless and was ripe for his taking.

Meanwhile, up the hallway, a single person waited in silence. A Lethan female turned her head and spotted the lone Starfleet officer coming towards her, she slowly smiled as she ducked back into her cover.

Renhai meanwhile had just gotten the sensor Jammers down, so now they could scan throughout the ship. then Bernadette Asked. "Alright, where is R'Merah."

Renhai used the Klingon ships internal sensors, then she frowned saying. "Well, this complicates things. There is more than one Caitian on this ship. But if I am reading this right, they are all in one section. There is a couple of live Klingons around there as well as a Lethean."

Lieutenant Jorge Hular raised an eyebrow. "A Lethian... Now there's a name one doesn't hear often... Don't they use some sort of psionic attack?"

Tiris meanwhile pulled out the power cell of her rifle as she discarded the old cell before she rammed home a new one, she had one left. "Alright.. Where are they from here Renhai?" she addressed the smaller being by name as she had been told to before.

The voice of Savannah Yamaguchi came over the com system. "I can guide you to your destination with greater ease, now that you guys took care of those damned jammers." the young woman commented.

"Hows the download coming Overwatch?"

"Eight four percent... It's being slow about it." came the response. "Be another forty-five seconds before its done."

Renhai readied her sidearm," Alright let's go."

Meanwhile, R'Merah smiled as he could smell the scent of Caitian on the wind, it was a female and now he was sure that she was a young female and in heat no less, he almost drolled at the scent of her and when he found her, he would have her.

At the same time, the female Lethian smiled as she pounced upon the Starfleet officer, with her left hand she swatted aside his phaser before she grabbed his head, then she threw all of her psionic effort into the attack, the end result was more then she wanted.

Alas he was not expecting the Lethan to ambush him, she grinned as she shoved aside his phaser before she grabbed his head with her claws, he felt his mind suddenly go blank as the world went white around him, the last thing he heard was himself screaming loudly. In rage as he had been denied and in pain as she quite literally cooked mid mind within his skull. The last thing he heard was a male Caitian's angry scream.

The Lethean barely had time to register her attacker before her head slowly rolled off her shoulders and fell to the floor, followed by her twitching, headless body. However, Renhai knew she was too late, for the damage had been done to R'Merah. She then called over the Comm. "I need an emergency beam out for R'Merah, yeah, this is ugly."

Yamaguchi's voice came back. "Stand by... transporting the Chief to Sickbay.."

Jorge Hular sighed as he regarded the downed Caitian. "What's wrong with him?" he inquired as he watched the Caitian be beamed out but it was Savanah Yamaguchi who answered. "We have no idea. we'll know more when we get him under a scanner... in the meantime... liberate these slaves please boys?"

Hular nodded. "I'm reading four Klingons remaining.."

Renhai opened up the door to the slave rooms and found a rather disgusting sight, a fat overweight Klingon known as Hurp was having his way with a small caitian child. Hurp however, noticed the arrival of the newcomer and turning around his heart froze in fear. He recognized the species of the being, and then hurriedly he grabbed a disruptor and pointed it at the caitian child in his arms. "No, No, stay away, Don't come near me."

Renhai gripped her energy blade so hard she bled from her hand. It had been a long time since she had been truly angry, but this was one of those times. Her fur stood on end and the air started sparking from her energy manipulator powers, she then slowly walked over to Murp and his hostage, not saying a word, her body was starting to give off a pale blue glow from her powers.

Lieutenant Savannah Yamaguchi narrowed her eyes. "What the hell... Strike, I'm reading some high-level energy readings here... Strike?"

Hular responded. "Yeah... about that... " he sighed "That's.. the Commander, she's ... well, I think she's okay... she's presently... educating someone in... I think she's interrogating someone. I ummm dunno really." he paused. "Errr... Stand by Overwatch. we'll get back to you."

Yamaguchi shrugged. "I've never seen readings like this before," she said more to Akaris then to herself. "Copy that strike. I'll be waiting.."
the young woman let out a sigh.

Akaris came over to Savannah's console, then replied. "That would be Renhai's energy manipulator abilities. Judging from their level, someone has just pissed her off."

"Oh," Savannah responded in a soft tone. "How does one generate that level of energy though?" she paused. "I didn't' think that was even possible."

"I'll show you them at another time," Akaris mentioned," But right now we have other things to deal with."

Back on the Klingon ship, Hurp was so terrified he couldn't hold his disruptor straight. More out of fear than anything else, he pulled the trigger, however, the bolt didn't hit the Caitian, instead, it stopped just before hitting there, and hung there in mid air doing nothing. Then it disappeared. Renhai held up her hand, and Hurp felt a sharp pain in his hand. He looked at his hand only to find nothing more than a bleeding stump, and his hand, with the disruptor, was now lying on the ground. Hurp screamed in utter terror and pain, then dropped the Caitian and ran for the door. However he didn't get more than two steps before falling on his face because his pants were still around his ankles. Renhai slowly approached the terrified Klingon and held her blade to his throat.

"Miserable pathetic creature and you call yourself a Klingon." The Air stopped sparking as Renhai's powers settled down, and she debated on whether she wanted to end his pathetic existence or not.

Hular entered a moment later, his two rifles at the ready as he had taken a moment to pull himself together. He regarded Renhai but a moment later he spotted the Caitian child who looked terrified, he growled before he snarled something in his native language before he slid his two rifles onto his back. "Now you will answer for your transgressions. Klingon." as he snarled, before moving to the Klingon in two steps, snatching the man from the floor before he began to strangle the Klingon who was weeping and crying in a pathetic tone.

Renhai deactivated her energy blade then approached the young caitian while Hurp started peeing in terror, getting it all over himself, the floor and Hular.

Hular snarled loudly as his self control rapidly melted down to nothing. "You honorless dog" as he dropped the Klingon before he hauled off and kicked him in the chest several times before hauling him back to his feet and then kicking him into the wall, Hular let the man slump to the floor before he grabbed the Klingon by the hair. Hular snarled something as he began smashing his fists into the Klingon's face, chest and upper body, after several minutes, he finally began to tire. The Klingon's body was a shattered husk with blood everywhere, his fists and the front of his uniform was drenched in blood. "Well... I won't announce him to heaven.," he commented. "Poor player.. you young fool. I hope you rot in... Whatever passes for hell..."

Renhai was now hugging the terrified caitian girl, who for the first time somewhat felt safe in the arms of the Kurokuri. Renhai then looked over at Huler, saying. "Yeah, that's going to give even me nightmares."

Hular growled. "Klingons... It's open season on you ..." he muttered softly.

Renhai then tapped her combadge saying to Savannah. "Hey we have a bunch of Caitians to beam out, so can you beam the lot of them as well as myself directly to sickbay." She then looked at Huler. "Might as well beam out Huler as well."

Yamaguchi nodded her head. "Willdo," she said simply. "Evacuating the wreak now." the young woman added a moment later.

Moments later down in sickbay, the Caitian slaves arrived, followed by the security personnel as Lieutenant Sokanon regarded Jorge Hular. "What on Cait happened to you.?"

Tiris regarded the Caitian female. "He dispensed justice on a Klingon who raped a Caitian child.." she explained. "Hular... Went crazy and beat the Klingon to pieces... Quite literally."

Sokanon regarded her and then shifted her attention back to the small being. "Renhai. What happened?"

"We have, quite a few freed Caitians to treat, and it looks like I will be playing doctor for the next little while." Renhai grabbed a medical kit and turned her attention to the young caitian that was beamed in with her, while other Caitian's were beamed into sickbay as well. In total there were sixty-seven of them.

Sokanon sighed softly. "Yep... Well, I already discharged Lieutenant Yamaguchi and Maraad Skyshatter so... I called all personnel in and they are presently gearing up." the pregnant female explained. "I'll handle the Lieutenant... and his smashed up looks."

Hular was sitting on the bed. "He had it comin'." the Capellan growled.

"Considering you are covered in blood and Khesan knows what else Lieutenant. I hope so." Sokanon responded, while she did so a dozen or so doctors and nurses began filing out of the large changing area into the main sickbay. "Hey, guys. we have sixty plus Caitian slaves and several wounded Federation personnel. We need to get them treated as soon as possible so we can get them off of the front lines."

Hular felt someone touch his hands, he sighed in pain. "I'm sorry..."

One of the Caitians looked up at Huler, realizing that it was his tail that accidentally touched Hular, however, he was too nervous to say anything.

Sokanon regarded Jorge Hular. "Let me handle you," she commented as she went to work on his wounds.

Renhai meanwhile contacted Akaris to update her on the situation, and then Akaris contacted Rear Admiral Carl Patterson and Division Admiral Kumirae. Once she got them both on screen she reported, "Admirals, we have run into one Klingon ship that is carrying Ferasian Slaves, and I suspect it isn't the only one."

On the USS Leviathan. Admiral Carl Patterson tapped the display as he turned his head slowly. "What?" he paused. "Oh fucking crap..." he growled. "Not these bastards again..."

Nevanzi then mentioned, "Well, those would probably be House Tekevek ships. Ferasians were their specialty."

"Which means us having to board and search every one of them," Kumirae replied, annoyed.

Nevanzi nodded. "Well, the ones that haven't been completely obliterated. But judging from the wrecks, there are over a hundred wrecked Tekevek ships. However, there is some good news about that."

Patterson sighed softly. "Good news... How is there any possible good news in all of this insanity?" he inquired.

"The Good news," Nevanzi explained. "Is that when we took down house Tekevek, there were only about 200 of their ships we didn't account for. All the rest are either in our possession or were destroyed by us. And of those 200 that are unaccounted for, at least 150 are confirmed to be floating pieces of wreckage around us right now, which means that the total number of Tekevek ships still in Klingon hands, is less than 50."

Patterson paused, he slowly nodded his head. "Alright.. so we got maybe fifty ships at most." he paused. "So.. any time we see these ships, we try to disable them and capture them.."

Nevanzi and Kumirae both nodded. Meanwhile, Back in Spirit of Winters Sickbay, Renhai walked over to where R'Merah was and asked Sokanon. "So how is he."

Sokanon was busy working on Hular's injuries. "Whoever pissed this guy. I hope he's dead.." as Lieutenant JG Sarah Ashley was busy working on R'Merah. "He's in a coma," she answered. "His mind has been very badly damaged. What attacked him?"

"A Lethean. I think," Renhai answered. "Didn't really ask her before I kinda well, beheaded her."

Sokanon facepalmed before she growled something truly incoherent as Ashley provided the explanation. "The Lethian was the key to this,... we needed her... she has his mind.. and memories.." she turned back to R'Merah. "We have no chance of recovering him."

Renhai looked at the unconscious R'Merah. "Um, oops, well, I didn't know."

The door closed behind Autumn Yamaguchi. "Aww. Poor baby got his brain barbecued?" she chuckled softly as she had a wide grin on her face. "Well... I wanted his head... but I'll settle for this.."

Renhai and Bernadette both gave Autumn an absolutely disgusted look while Akaris approached quietly from behind. Renhai then commented.
"Seriously, a fellow crew member gets his brain fried and you're happy about it, what the hell is wrong with you."

Yamaguchi paused. "None of you guessed that something happened between me and him.." she then facepalmed. "Oh boy... Fine.. Let me sit down and I will explain." and with that, the small female hoisted herself up onto the biobed, she sat down before she looked at R'Merah then she turned her attention back to the crowd gathering.

Sokanon regarded Yamaguchi. "You better be fixing to tell us just what the fuck happened between you two and I mean now little one."

Yamaguchi regarded Sokanon. "Calm the fuck down," she responded in a dry tone. "Oh.. Before I forget," she commented as she tapped her combadge. "Yamaguchi to Ajal?"

"Yes Autumn." came the response. "Are you stuck and I need assistance?"

"Yes... In sickbay. Bring yourself and a smile. Pack light."

"I'm on my way. Ajal out." the com system went dead. "Ajal will be able to help me with details." she clarified.

"So.. Out with it," Sokanon responded.

Yamaguchi regarded Sokanon with a look of disdain. "How about you settle the fuck down. I'll share my tale of shame with you soon enough... and in any event, this issue doesn't really concern any of you. I'm only sharing it now because I've been left with little choice."

Bernadette and Renhai where both already quite suspicious but neither of them chose to comment, they both knew there was some serious animosity between Autumn and R'Merah, but neither knew what it was.

The door opened and in walked a large Klingon female. She peered at the gathering as she simply blinked before she moved into the room. "Ahh.. Have I been called to testify?" as she noticed the body of R'Merah on the biobed. "Whats with him?"

Yamaguchi turned her head, a smile on her lips. "R'Merah got his brain fried by a Lethian."

Ajal peered at him but the look on her face spoke volumes. "So.. Vengence has been had hmm?"

"Indirectly," Yamaguchi responded. "Anyway... The Inquisition wants answers to why things went down."

"Ahh," Ajal responded before the large woman hauled herself up onto the bed next to her girlfriend who was a much smaller woman.

"So... you ready now?"

Ajal growled softly, warning Sokanon in not so subtle terms that her insolence would not be tolerated. "Yes," Yamaguchi explained quietly.

Renhai got snappy with all three of them. "Hey, knock it off, stop acting like children."

Yamaguchi simply shrugged but didn't say anything as she waited. Ajal pulled her kit off her her back as she placed it next to her. "Fine... R'Merah and I have... a history."

Ajal regarded Autumn in silence before she placed her hands on the smaller woman's shoulders as Yamaguchi explained in a quiet tone. "Well.. the senior staff of Hurgh'maS at the time was working out how to infiltrate a rebel base along the Federation border. R'Merah and I got into an argument... Which escalated with him beating me within an inch of my life... What set him off was my laughing at him. After the beating that is..." her eyes seemed to go dull and lifeless. "So he decided to teach me 'some respect and manners for those meaner than me.'" she paused. "He raped me twice."

After waiting a moment passed Renhai asked. "And then you agreed to counsel him after he got raped by Rae Lajosse if he did that to you, why did you not tell us this."

Bernadette nodded adding. "You really should have informed us that there was a conflict of int-.." Bernadette stopped as she came to a startling realization. "Wait a minute, you encouraged him didn't you. You encouraged R'Merah to go after Lajosse, didn't you."

Yamaguchi regarded the larger woman before her. "Actually No. I didn't mention it because I didn't expect the issue to come out like this. I encouraged R'Merah to deal with this as a Klingon would... He's spent his entire life in the Empire. That part I knew about him... But I couldn't understand him... Why does a-"

Ajal cut her off. "I can." she turned. "Autumn, I love you... but sometimes, you are just so dense.... I mean .. Isn't it obvious to you..?" she inquired as she pointed to R'Merah. "He's not Caitian. Why would the empire allow a Caitian to serve in their military?" the Klingon inquired of her mate.

"I... I honestly have no idea." Yamaguchi paused. "I didn't consider it."

"No reason you should have... But he's a Ferasian. Not a Caitian. It took me quite some time to figure things out myself.. and I was an underling in Engineering with Noq't over on the Dreamcrusher keeping me busy with a lot of work... After you left. Noq't followed you and so did R'Merah. I followed him to protect you from him..." she turned to the others present. "You all know the lengths that a Klingon will go to protect her mate... However, I was not prepared to kill in that defense."

Yamaguchi regarded Ajal in silence, her eyes stung as her shame was laid bare for all to see. "I wanted R'Merah to deal with this as a Klingon would... Yes, I encouraged him to go after LaJosse but I did not intend to this to happen... I do not seek his blood. I wanted him to answer for what he did to me. No more..."

Sokanon mewled. "So.. he got mind fried. So you got what you wanted... How convenient for you."

Ajal sighed softly. "Seriously?" she inquired in a quiet tone of voice.
"It is not convenient... For anyone.."

Yamaguchi wanted to haul off and smack the Caitian female before her but she kept absolutely still, instead, she simply ignored Sokanon as she had no time to be provoked. "Did I think I was going to be able to talk R'Merah down..?" she inquired. "not for a second... But I thought I could still do my job and keep my emotions, personal issues, and concerns out of the equation and I failed... However.. I did not expect La'whateverhisnamewas to overpower him another two times. I simply assumed that something went peculiarly wrong."

"Yeah about that," Bernadette explained. "LaBrosse was a case of augmentation gone horribly wrong, and horribly right. more than a few thing were messed up about him, but yeah, I also figured something was really off about R'Merah's service record. Let's face it, the empire doesn't allow Federation citizens to immigrate to the empire, but I had no way of really confirming these suspicions until the Ferasian crisis a few months ago. I tried to talk to him about it but he evaded my questions."

Renhai looked over at R'Merah commenting. "Though I have to wonder if he was a former Ferasian Slave, how the hell did he end up in the KDF."

Another Ferasian who was sitting on a nearby Biobed provided the answer. "He probably got into the KDF through the various Gladiator pits that House Tekevek ran. Occasionally when one of us would show promise as a fighter, sometimes a member of the house would take interest in that individual and sponsor them to enlist in the KDF, but even then, those lucky enough to be allowed that would never be anything more than second class citizens, so even then, there was no way to be truly free."

Renhai nodded," That Makes sense, R'Merah was only the way he was because that's what House Tekevek turned him into."

Ajal regarded the unknown Ferasian who spoke. "House Tekevek... It always keeps coming back to those bastards... Doesn't it."

Yamaguchi regarded Ajal with tired and weary eyes. "Ajal... Don't do it.."

"I'm going to contact my aunt Di'nal," she responded. "You recall her?"

"Oh yes." Yamaguchi smiled. "I recall what happened when you mentioned slavery to her. I thought she was going to kill someone."
she paused. "Captain Di'nal is very anti-slavery. She was one of Martok's followers. That's assuming she is still alive."

Oh, she is. People have tried to murder her but they keep failing." Ajal explained. "I believe she is up for the General's rank sometime soon... so while you all destroy House Tekevek from without. I will help destroy it from within... and any stupid fool who gets in my way."

Renhai turned her attention back to Ajal. "Well my compatriots have already practically emasculated the house, but there is one thing that You could do. We have a lot of crippled house Tekevek ships that we need to board and check for slaves, I think you could help our away teams in this matter."

Ajal nodded her head. "I'll be there." she nodded, her two large ponytails bobbed with her moving her head. "Let me know where and when?"

Renhai nodded then turned to Autumn. "Well anyway, I will let you know this, you did mess up by not telling us there was a conflict of interest when you counseled R'Merah, however, I won't punish you for it, not this time anyway. However, if you ever, ever do something like this again, I can assure you, the book will hit you as hard as a railgun round."

"Yes. I understand." Yamaguchi answered quietly before she let out a sigh.

Ajal regarded Yamaguchi in silence before she shifted her attention to the other people present, she noticed all of the other people present as the Klingon female let out a sigh, trying not to feel like she was being cornered.
