Posted on Tue Mar 10th, 2020 @ 6:18am by Division Admiral Maraad Skyshatter & Lieutenant Commander Mav'a Tiris & Lieutenant Commander Jorge Hular & Lieutenant Commander Bernadette Chevalier & Lieutenant Commander Gabriel Yamaguchi & Lieutenant Savannah Yamaguchi

Mission: Mission 82: It Is War’s Prize to Take All Vantage.
Location: Derelict Klingon Ship - IKS 'run'SaL
Timeline: 1730Hrs - April 21st, 2392

Lieutenant Savannah Yamaguchi smiled. "The Klingon's left a lot of wrecks in this battle." the young woman commented to herself as the conn officer nodded to her. "Skipper. I'm reading several dozen lifesigns on wreak sixty-one, I can beam people in but the lifesigns are clustered in various spaces... and coms are a mess... I'll need a minute to sort it out."

Lieutenant Gabriel Yamaguchi regarded his wife from where he was seated near the back of the bridge. "We have no weapons being locked onto us... Should we help them?"

Savannah knew full well why her husband was asking. "We have a duty to try. They have beaten anyway... and if they step out of line. I can always ask you nicely to make that flying scrap heap go away." as she grinned at her husband. He smiled back at her.

Akaris got in contact with Command then soon after she got her answer she said. "Alright, well command inst as interested in rescuing Klingons from these ships, However, they are looking for intel, so Renhai, if you don't mind, assemble an away team. Roanoke will be sending an Away team as well."

Renhai nodded, then grabbed an Akurian Combine rifle to complement her Akurian sidearm, "Alright then, I'll lead, she then looked around the bridge crew, any volunteers."

Gabriel smiled. "Me."

Savannah smiled. "Once I clean up the comms, I can serve as your overwatch... If you want."

Gabriel wouldn't deny his wife if she wanted to go on the away mission but she wasn't the combat master that he was, however, he was training her and she was learning quickly. "We have several locations to set down a strike team," he explained as he brought up the areas in question. "Mostly in the outer hull areas. These four locations would be best."

Renhai nodded, then looked to Bernadette, saying. "How many people can you spare."

Bernadette volunteered herself. "Well, I go myself, and I can bring on about half my security staff, But I don't want to go any lower than that, just in case."

Savannah Yamaguchi turned. "Coms are straightened out now guys, I can keep tabs on all personnel assigned." the blonde female explained with a smile.

Gabriel tapped his display. "Roanoke is hailing, they will use this location." he then displayed it on the viewscreen at the front of the bridge. "It's about twenty-two meters from my location for beam in.."

Once, Bernadette, had her personnel assembled, she turned to Renhai, "Alright, We are ready."

Renhai nodded. "Let's go."

Gabriel Yamaguchi walked towards the turbolift, he turned as he entered the lift as he smiled at his wife. Savannah turned back to her display as she focused on the task before her.

Meanwhile over on the USS Roanoke. Lieutenant Mav'a Tiris and her half dozen personnel were assembled and ready to go. Tiris drew her sidearm. "Ready"? she asked the assembled troops. There were nods all around. "Energize."

Renhai's Team beamed in amidst two rather surprised Klingons. The Klingons didn't have any time to react before being shot. Renhai herself took the point, her sidearm at the ready. The moment they went through the first door, a Klingon attempted to hit the diminutive Kurokuri with his bat'leth, however, she easily dodged the attack and activated her sidearm's secondary weapon, an energy blade. Renhai swung with the weapon, aiming for the Klingon's neck. The warrior attempted to block with his bat'leth, but the energy blade easily sliced through the batleth and through the man's neck, and seconds later his head rolled off his shoulders.

Maraad Skyshatter had a smile on his face as he smashed a Klingon's skull with his hammer with such force that the head of the Klingon simply ceased to exist, he then swung his hammer in a flat arc with his left as he shot dead two Klingons and his hammer impacted the third with such force that the Klingon ended up getting splattered against the back wall of the hallway about six foot away, as the Klingon slid to the deck, one could tell that many of the bones in the man's body had been shattered.

Skyshatter came face to face with Renhai. "Commander... It's good to see you." as he lowered his rifle.

Renhai nodded, then she shot two Klingons who rounded the corner. Unlike with Federation phasers, her weapon didn't cauterize the wounds that it inflicted, and both Klingons went down in a pool of blood. "Yeah, it seems not all of House Tekevek was taken care of."

Skyshatter smiled. "I'm okay with this.." the massive being responded in a dry tone of voice. "So.. Whats the next move?" Lieutenant Mav'a Tiris inquired of Renhai as her guys secured the area around them. Jorge Hular nodded. "New look for your hammer big man?"

"Pink is not its color.," Skyshatter responded evenly.

"I can tell." Hular chuckled as a female voice came over the com system. "Nice work guys. no life signs within fifty meters of you in any direction."

Gabriel Yamaguchi lowered his rifle. "Copy that," he responded to his wife who was presently handling overwatch. "Coms are still in need of tweaking.. its the battle damage... You have another six Klingons moving towards your location, hallway to your left.. they are forty meters and closing."

Yamaguchi nodded as he turned to his left. "Guys we got company coming."

"I got this," Renhai commented. She then moved to the doorway that the Klingons would come through, and then she adjusted her energy blade to make it practically invisible, then held it to it went across the doorway. The first Klingon to run through the doorway sliced himself in half on the weapon, and the second one followed, also slicing himself in half. The Third Klingon stopped just before the door, not too inclined to kill himself, so Renhai changed her tactics. She rammed her weapon straight through the wall, and right into the Klingon on the other side, causing him to scream in pain and drop to the ground. The Remaining three Klingon didn't know what to make of the situation and hesitated. Renhai pulled her weapon out of the wall, then in a blur, she charged the remaining three, promptly bringing down the surprised Klingons.

Gabriel Yamaguchi lifted his rifle but he didn't fire as he regarded Skyshatter. "You think the Commander needs a hand?" he inquired.

"Nah. I think I'm not needed for this one." as Savannah's voice came over the com system. "Guys, it's a trap. Get out of there!" as another fifteen or so Klingons all dove on the front of the strike team which was Gabriel, Skyshatter, Hular, and Renhai. One each went for the larger beings whereas everyone else went for Renhai.

For the first time in the fight, Renhai awakened her energy manipulator powers, using them to enhance her speed and energy shields. Some of the Klingons shots bounced off her shields but most failed to hit. She immediately got four of them by firing her weapon in continuous beam mode, while the remaining Klingons charged. Renhai then pulled out a second energy blade and went to work, slicing off arm's, going through batleth's and taking the occasional leg or head.

Yamaguchi found his rifle being sliced in half by his attacker, as he drove his fist into the man's chest, using his psionic abilities, he shoved the man back but his enemy was extremely strong before he quite literally ripped the bat'leth out of the man's hands and he nutted him with his own weapon, then he quickly swung and cut the Klingon down with his own weapon before he went to assist Hular with his attacker as the two were presently locked in a wrestling contest.

Skyshatter simply swung his hammer in a flat arc and smashed the Klingon's head flat off of his shoulders before he did the same to the two Klingons attacking from the front, the first fell but the second was able to get some kind of shield up right at the last second, the shield collapsed but he was still alive.

"What!" Skyshatter commented in surprise.

"Now you die!" the Klingon rasped before Yamaguchi sliced through his with the bat'leth in his hands. "If you're going to kill someone, kill them. Don't stand there talking about it," he said before he shoved the Klingon into his two new teammates that had just shown up, wearing some kind of armor. "Well... this is new!"

Renhai fired several shots at the armored Klingons, but they had energy shields that absorbed the shots. One of the Klingons returned fire with a CRM 114. Renhai managed to avoid getting hit directly, but the explosion caused by the beam sent her flying, and one of her energy blades flew out of her hand and off into a corner of the room.

Skyshatter moved in, swinging his blade, the impact was loud but the hammer simply bounced off, before the Klingon swatted him aside, Skyshatter ended up down on his face.

Yamaguchi swung his blade, it connected but it likewise didn't do anything but the Klingon punched him, sending him flying into the bulkhead, he slid to the deck with a soft groan.

The two Klingons both turned as they proceeded to turn their attention to the small being before them. Hular sighed softly as he opened fire on one of the two Klingons in the armor.

Renhai decided a head on attack wouldn't work, so she tossed a smoke grenade out while saying," Hular, retreat."

Hular nodded as he moved. "Confirmed." he paused as he began shooting at both Klingons. "What about our wounded?" he inquired

The voice of Savannah Yamaguchi answered him. "Don't worry. I have them." as the downed Starfleet personnel began to be beamed out as Hular moved off down the hallway before he snarled something at the Klingons. Tiris meanwhile turned. "This way.." she called as she joined Hular in shooting at the second Klingon's armor plating. "Damm.. these guys are tough.."

Renhai had managed to use the distraction caused by the smoke screen to slip out of the room. She then went through the surrounding hallways until she found the hallway the armored Klingons had gone through. Now she got behind both of these Klingons, who were still focused on what was in front of them. Of course, it helped that Renhai's smoke grenade also included a sensor jammer, which interfered with the Klingons sensors. The first indication that the Klingons had that anything was wrong was when one of them felt an energy sword go through his neck, neatly severing his spine. the other quickly became aware of his compatriot's death, but fortunately for Renhai, the armor was slow, and Renhai was able to get around him as well, first cutting off his leg at the knee through the weaker armor joint. The Klingon fell to the ground with a very loud thud, and that's when Renhai put her energy blade right through the neck joint.

Hular waited for his people to flee as he and the Bolian female he was working with covered their retreat. "Go El Tee.." as he turned, he headbutted one of the Klingons slump and fall over with a rather loud clang. The second joined him a moment or so later.

Tiris began advancing towards the two downed Klingons only to find herself face to face with Renhai. "Well... That's one way to do it." she turned. "Clear!" she called out.

Renhai picked herself up and pulled the energy blade out of the Klingon's body. "Well, it seem's they have been improving."

Hular nodded his head. "We could take the power armor... see how it works and maybe devise some counter to it," he explained. "We don't need the Klingon bodies, however."

The female Bolian raised an eyebrow. "We should keep moving... See if there is anyone other than these gun nuts about, maybe salvage some information.."

"Guys. there is a computer core not forty meters from your present location. Down that main hallway." came the voice of Savannah Yamaguchi. "The main door, however, is locked... you'll need to find a bypass for it."

"Eh doesn't need to worry about that," Renhai replied," I have a universal key." Renhai then activated her energy blade and rammed it into the door as she began the process of cutting a hole in it.

Hular meanwhile secured the two large bodies for transport back to the Spirit of Winter as she had much better facilities than Roanoke herself did before he returned to the strike team. "That's... one way to do it," he commented. "Wait. are we missing anyone?" he inquired.

Bernadette did a quick headcount then found that R'Merah was missing. "Uh, Yeah we are missing one, R'Merah. Damn, we've gotten into several melees with the Klingons, must have lost track of him."

Hular regarded the smaller human female. "Maybe he's wounded. Should we go find him?"

Tiris turned her head. "I don't think we have that kinda time... Overwatch... any signs of him?"

"I'm on it," responded Savannah Yamaguchi. "I'm having issues finding him but... It's..." there was a pregnant pause. "They have sensor jammers all over the place.."

Tiris sighed. "Great."

Renhai finally got the door open," well once we access their data core, we should be able to shut down the sensor jammers."

Savannah's voice came back. "The sensor jammers are indeed clustered there... But it goes without saying?" she commented.

"Yeah.." Hular answered. "Overwatch, whats the status of our wounded.?" the massive Capellan inquired quietly.

"Well. Lieutenant Yamaguchi and Chief Skyshatter are both quite banged up but they'll both be alright."

"That's good news.. thank you Overwatch," Hular responded, with a smile appearing on his face. "Right.."

Tiris regarded him as she looked around. "Ready," she commented softly before the door opened, the strike team moved out to finish their mission objectives.
