Mission: Mission 64: Mortal's Chiefest Enemy
Location: Deep Space
Timeline: 0800Hrs - February 15th, 2392

Commander Celeste Yamaguchi found the hallways around the Dreamcrusher to be a lot more crowded then she was used to as dozens of not hundreds of refugees were eager to explore, many of them were also replicating new clothing so they looked like something other then rustic people who had never been off-world in their lives, which some of the younger refugees had not but some of them had.

"Commander.. thanks for saving us." were some of the comments Celeste Yamaguchi found that were being directed towards her and the starfleet crew in general.

Yamaguchi walked into sickbay where she found Scorch which wasn't surprising considering that he and his guys had fought a two hour running battle with two battalions worth of Klingon private military contractors or house infantrymen they were not well equipped or very well lead but they still had managed to kill sixteen of Scorch's marines and wound almost everyone else.

Yamaguchi went over to Tanya Stevenson who honestly looked like crap, her hair was mussed and her uniform was ruined, soiled with blood from her neck to her waist. "Hey Tanya, are you alright?"

"Commander... I feel like shit to be honest... Coffee is all that's keeping me and my guys from falling apart... It was nice of the third shifters to kick my first shift guys outta here several hours ago, hopefully, they are sleeping at least so they can come back and relieve the second shifters... "

"You and your guys did well down here Tanya. You saved a lot of lives with your efforts.."

"We were ready for it and we were also well-motivated.." Stevenson then smiled. "Besides... Some of the Spartans were helping us with orderly duties, they also pitched in and helped where needed.. Those guys could also sit and act as nurses so... We utilized them in that role."

"Good... I'm glad it worked out."

"We still lost sixteen..." Stevenson responded. "I've been putting off the certificates.."

"I can understand... I have a little time... come on. Let me help with it."

Stevenson nodded before she followed Celeste into the doctor's office. Inside was Commander Patricia Kingston who was working on something else. "Ladies." she greeted them both before moving over to the other two could squeeze past her.

Meanwhile down in Engineering. Lieutenant Monique Deepshadow regarded Noq't with a measure of affection as she handed him a PADD. "the final damage report from the battle yesterday, most of it is light and gentle... I have repair teams working to repair the issues we're dealing with."

Noq't turned to address the shorter human female. "Good." he rumbled, his voice had a deep bass tone that could be mistaken for anger but all one had to do was look into his eyes and see the intelligence located there. "How long before everything is fixed.?"

"About six hours.. Alpha watch will handle everything.. Beta watch can do diagnostic checks." Deepshadow explained.

"Excellent. proceed."

Meanwhile. Lieutenant T'Lee Duval regarded the display before her as she had a hundred of her guys going through the inventory to make sure everything was as they said it was. So far it all looked accurate, suits of armor with enough military hardware to outfit an entire division of marines, all in one go and enough grenades to blow up an entire city. "This explains why those Klingons wanted this stuff."

"Yeah, no kidding El Tee... Look at this stuff." as another one of her security guys came over to her. "We spent all night looking this stuff over. Its all legit... but its all old.. but a planetary ground force would find this stuff to be invaluable."

T'Lee frowned. "Mmm.. well I'll go report to the skipper then and we can see what else happens as a result of this stuff.... " as she downloaded the rest of the files from the other man's PADD onto her own. "Alright.. I'll go brief the skipper.. thanks everyone." the young Vulcanish looking woman explained before she departed the cargo bay area.

Minutes later T'Lee emerged onto the bridge as Orianna reported. "We'll be back at the fleet in eight days, present speed skipper."

Shadowsong smiled. "Back to sitting on our asses, doing very little." she commented. "I'm not sure what was worse... going into battle or the long moments of boredom orbiting B Kayor Nine Bravo."

McKnight shook his head as he shrugged. "Who knows.. yes El Tee?" he addressed T'Lee.

"The inventory of the gear we lifted yesterday sir.. It's all what it looks like and Scorch will be happy to know that something good came from his guys sacrifices at least."

"I doubt anything will help his mood at this point Lieutenant but its understandable." he sighed softly. "Still... I hate this part... the memorial service.."
"Its scheduled for two days.. dress uniforms are mandatory," McKnight explained. "Maiev, let the crew know about it and inform our guests too.. I suspect many will wish to share their respects.."

"Yessir." Shadowsong turned as she went to work at her panel.
