| Personal History | T'Sara was born the youngest of her various siblings on the Vulcan Lunar colony on the 11th of March, 2299 in the Terran calendar. She grew up in a traditional Vulcan household with no emotions whatsoever otherwise she would be disciplined quite severally with hours of extra schoolwork her parents would create for her. As she was the youngest, her parents are often harsher with her they then were for the others as she was the one who was more in tune with her emotions from an early age. Growing up. T'Sara found that her emotions would not be denied and as such she went through the pon-far for the first time at age fourteen after being betrothed to a male Vulcan who might as well have been a cardboard cutout of a real person. When her time came she denied her would-be mate after she found him to be lacking in many ways. Needless to say that this made an already bad situation with her family worse by several orders of magnitude. When T'Sara graduated from the Vulcan education system. T'Sara quietly applied and was accepted into Starfleet Academy. However, her siblings found out and when they reported it to her parents. Their reaction was downright brutal. They kicked her out of their home and they also removed her family the family records, her siblings and all of her other relatives severed all ties and from that point, T'Sara was alone. Yet she had her wits about her. T'Sara moved in with a friend's family for a short time until she got word that she had been accepted into the academy then off she went to Earth. It should be noted that she would not return to Vulcan for sixty-three years. Her time at the academy was educational in how she would live the rest of her life, she converted easily and passionately to the academy's way of thinking but everything went to pot in her fourth year during an exercise on Mars when she was aged 21, she went through her second pon-far. Knowing she faced almost certain death if she remained, she decided to finish the exercise then return to Vulcan to take a mate but two of her classmates, both aware of her situation decided to assist her, one would physically assist and the other would keep everyone else out of the matter. Cadet James McKnight was young and good looking, he was also mild-mannered and somewhat shy but he was able to assist T'Sara in her hour of need but he also had feelings for her. T'Sara had never known kindness like this before so she decided to get to know James McKnight rather than summarily terminate their relationship. As time passed. T'Sara graduated from the academy, with James at her side. They were assigned to separate ships but they were reunited a couple of years later while assigned to the same Starbase. T'Sara would go on to have all of her children while assigned to this starbase James McKnight and T'Sara McKnight would maintain a happy family but because of their various postings, they were forced to split the children between them. As a result, only three of the six went into Starfleet. Stephen, Daniel and Jennifer whereas none of the others did. T'Sara's assignments kept her away from hearth and home which she decided would be Starbase 54, also she knew that in time she would be able to call the shots on what assignment she wanted when the time came. She served several years commanding the USS Iron Duke after she had her twenty-year shakedown when she was refitted with components and systems from the new Nebula and Galaxy classes which were both presently under construction. She also served as the first skipper of the newly commissioned USS Roanoke when she was fitted out as a science vessel. Her chief medical officer was a woman named Commander Rachael Yamaguchi, needless to say, both women got along very well because they both had families. T'Sara was reassigned back to Starbase 54 for the third time after leading her ship out on a successful charting assignment to the Gum Nebula, after charting over a thousand cubic parsec's of space and participating in over a dozen first contacts. She relished the assignment and found that she would miss the experiences of being out there in deep space, charting new places and meeting the people there. T'Sara would find her hopes for the future turn to ashes as she watched as the Federation encountered first the Borg and later the Dominion. When the time for war came, T'Sara was on the front lines as part of the Fifth fleet commanding a battlegroup of smaller ships, Two Steamrunner's and eight Sabre's to be exact. She would find in some of the Dominion War's most brutal fights alongside her children. Stephen, Daniel, and Jennifer who also would fight in some of the battles alongside their mother. She was offered a promotion past Captain several times in her career and she refused it each time as she was happy where she was. When the war ended she took stock of what she had gained and lost. She had gained a half dozen medals but she had lost a lot of people around her, from kids right out of the academy to starfleet personnel a century old. When the Dominion War ended. T'Sara requested assignment back to Starbase 54 where she has remained until she got a better job offer in late 2393. She would have plenty of time to get to know her grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she spoils mercilessly when they come to visit. Stephen and her other children provided her with the family she never had since her family back on Vulcan still refuse to admit they were wrong in their treatment of her. Her new assignment was as the Chief of staff of Starfleet Command, it came with a promotion to Grand Admiral. She accepted and off she went to Earth. A planet she had little respect for. |
