The Marine Reorganization

Mission: Mission 49: The Stars Look Down
Location: Various Locations - USS Argonne
Timeline: 0900Hrs - November 8th, 2391

Captain Tienn Nerra was wearing her usual duty uniform, which indicated she was a Combat Engineer and today she was wearing a happy smile on her face, the last few days had cleaned up a great deal of issues for her and the Orion Pheromone incident had caused her to become embroiled in its insanity as she ended up with one of her Second Lieutenants.

Just then another Marine showed up, this guy wore black for the undershirt rather then the sand colour of Tienn's own uniform. "Captain." he nodded to her in greeting.

Tienn smiled at him. "Hey.." She knocked on the door and waited.

"Enter!" Hobbs replied.

The door opened as Tienn tapped the release, she then slipped through the door with the bulk of Fraser following her into the office. "Captain Tienn reporting. you screamed for me?" Nerra inquired

"Captain Sir Bruce Fraser also reporting for duty sir." he paused. "I'm the fifteenth Baron Fraser of North Cape." he added with an impish smile. "But you don't need to call me sir... I'm casual." he added as he regarded the fine looking woman before him, he also found himself reevaluating her looks. 'Damm, she's hot.' he thought of Hobbs.

Brianna gave the newcomer a curious look before returning to Tienn. "Captain, I'm offering you the position of Headquarters Commander. You will be working on the Argonne but it can be a stepping stone to more promotions."

"I see." Tienn responded. "Wouldn't that be a demotion of sorts for me?" she inquired. "In any case.. it'll be like old times... I heard that Major Rohr is coming here too..."

"You'll be promoted to Major for starters." Hobbs told Tienn. "You'll also get to do higher command functions. It will make it easier for you to get Lieutenant Colonel in the future."

"Oh... Well then I will be happy to accept." she responded. "Hopefully we don't have any more lunatics like.... ratbag here again." nobody needed to ask who 'ratbag' was as everyone could guess.

"Good." Hobbs replied before turning to Fraser. "Captain, I would like you to take command of the marines on Dreamcrusher."

"Aye Colonel." Fraser responded. "When does all of this take effect?" he inquired.

"In a few days." Hobbs replied. "When Major Tienn returns to Dreamcrusher to get her things in order, you should go with her. She can show you how things operate over there."

"Yessir." Fraser responded.

Tienn regarded Hobbs. "So... who's taking over the two other Battalions aboard ship?"

"Daisy is taking the first battalion." Brianna replied before running her fingers over her PaDD. "Lieutenant Colonel Jackson."

Fraser sighed. "Oh no... not Jackson." he sighed. "I served with him once before... he was a second El Tee during the war.. and we didn't get along."

Tienn chuckled softly. "It could always be worse.." before she blew him a kiss. "So... when you get off duty... I'll meet you somewhere and we can make sweet love together"

Fraser raised an eyebrow. "You my dear... need to get out more."

"Nah..." Tienn responded. "Can I borrow your lady for a time?." she inquired. "I promise to return her intact."

"That I have no doubt." Brianna replied. Hobbs then looked to Fraser. "Jackson's file looks impressive. Do you have a personality conflict?"

"That was a long time ago... we had a different of opinion at the time.." Fraser responded. "I wanted to attack a Dominion observation post to distract them while we withdrew from Chin'toka while he argued for a full retreat."

"He will not be in your chain of command." Hobbs told Fraser. "As a matter of fact, you'll be on different ships."

"Thats fine... It was a long time ago sir... and I'll try to get along with him." Fraser responded. "I got over it long ago but... I thought it was worth mentioning it just in case."

"Thank you for bringing me your concerns Captain." Hobbs told Fraser.

"Yessir." Fraser responded as Tienn smiled. "I will take him out back and have my way with him then I'll be back to see to it the HQ battalion runs like a well oiled machine." she indicated Fraser. "If he denies me, I'm sure your lady can help me."

"I'm glad to see you embracing your new post." Hobbs told Tienn.

Tienn raised an eyebrow. "Is there anything special I need to know about my new posting?"

"Other than you will be running the equivalent of three companies and the command staff, no." Hobbs replied.

"I see." Tienn responded. "Thank you." as she indicated Fraser. "I'll be ready to take over in two days after I show Mister Walking Comedian the ropes over on the Dreamcrusher."

"Hey I protest, the lady slanders me.."

Tienn gave him an amused look. "How so?"

"I resemble that remark.." Fraser responded.

"Oh, a pom with a sense of humor." Brianna smiled at Fraser. "You'll fit right in to our awkward family."

Fraser raised an eyebrow. "A Pom?." he inquired. "What is... a Pom?."

Tienn smiled as she tried not to snicker but she failed rather pathetically. "It could be worse.... you could be meeting the Colonel's predecessor." Tienn turned back to Hobbs. "He was... Different." she said before she smiled.

Just then there was a knock at the door.

"Come in!" Hobbs replied, ignoring Fraser's question.

The door opened as a second Bajoran woman stepped in, this one was wearing the rank of Lieutenant Commander and she looked almost identical to Tienn Nerra.

The second woman smiled almost instantly as she regarded her younger sibling before turning to Hobbs. "Colonel." she introduced herself. "I am Lieutenant Commander Tienn Kerris, the New and Improved Chief of Security aboard this... ship... I'd like to go over the marines situation with you at length... deployment details and things of that nature." as she paused. "I also want to steal Nerra for a time too... but that can happen afterwards.."

Nerra regarded her older sibling. "You'll be wanting to talk to me about Marines too."

"Good." Kerris responded with a smile. "I hear that Iteela is lurking around here... Ezas is too."

"Yes.. They are." Nerra responded. "So.. Colonel... be careful when you yell 'Tienn' as four of us will respond."

Fraser smiled as he said. "Here I was thinking this assignment was going to be boring."

"Commander Tienn, Captain Tienn is free now." Hobbs told the Bajoran. "I'm not sure what the 'marine situation' is but I'm sure you'll inform me."

"I meant in terms of marine discipline and how they relate to security." the taller Bajoran smiled. "I don't like cracking skulls.... I prefer diplomacy and talking it out... rather then using force." she explained evenly.

Nerra smiled but kept her silence.

"Well maybe if our senior officers keep from engaging in mutinies the lower ranks will follow their example and behave." Brianna told Tienn. "In the meantime, we just had a command shake up. I have only one major reports of discipline problems and they weren't on this ship."

Tienn Kerris chuckled softly. "Yes I read about that. Well.. I intend to ensure that discipline is kept... with your permission of course. I'd rather not have us fighting over things... I read about your predecessor and I aim to avoid that outcome."

"That shouldn't e too hard." Bri told Tienn. "The man was a bore. It was through Nechayev that he even managed to stay in Star Fleet."

"A bore?" Kerris raised an eyebrow as she shared a look with her sibling. "Not the words I'd use... but okay."

Nerra chuckled softly. "I's call him a nutcase."

"I knew him much longer than you did." Hobbs told Kerris. "It has only been the last few days that he has lost all reason and sanity. And I was trying to use polite language."

Kerris nodded her head. "Fair enough.." the Bajoran smiled as she regarded the Colonel. "Can I organize some drills between your marines and my security troops."

"Good idea." Brianna replied. "Just gave us a couple of weeks to reorganize and replenish our losses. Right now, we are operating under strength."

"Of course." Kerris responded. "I will handle policing duties and keep the marine issues from piling up.. Are you heading out on leave sir?"

"Yes, after everything here is reorganized." Bri told her.

"Sounds good sir." Kerris smiled.
