Mission: Mission 49: The Stars Look Down
Location: Various Locations - USS Dreamcrusher
Timeline: 0930hrs - November 8th, 2391

Lieutenant JG Lasarra Unal, nicknamed Kat was seated at a terminal in the ships library, she was busy looking over the histories of her new reality. "So... Robert Leyton's coup was a failure here.." she muttered aloud to herself.

"Something the matter?" she heard a male voice, she turned to find herself face to face with a ghost from her past. "Nick..." she said quietly, as if suddenly nervous.

"We've met before?" Erikson responded, while he reacted to her being nervous.

"Have a seat.." Lasarra responded while she waved to a chair that was presently unused.

Erikson sat down next to her. "So...?"

"Yes.... I'm not exactly from around here... I'm a refugee from another universe.. a darker one compared to this place..." Unal explained.

Erikson raised an eyebrow as he regarded her. "Oh... Well... I umm.." he paused. "Do you need help with your homework?"

"Sure." Lasarra responded. "But lets go back to your place..." she paused. "If you're okay with that."

"Sure.." Erikson responded. "I guess..."

"Nick... We knew each other where I came from... Its... different when I see you alive.."

"I died?" Erikson watched as she logged off the system, she then gathered her PADD's before she rose to her feet. "Yeah, you did." she answered. "You were up on various charges like stealing state secrets... Which were brought up by my bitch of an aunt.." she hissed softly.

"What?" Erikson inquired. "Your aunt... who's that?"

"I'll tell you shortly... Lets get outta here." and with that Lasarra led him out the door and down the hall. "My aunt is... April 'The Witch' Yamaguchi... Nothing like the April in this universe, my April was malevolent and cruel..."

"Malevolent and cruel doesn't fit with the Admiral Yamaguchi I've seen... That makes no sense."

"From your perspective... yes.. But if you knew the demon in my home universe.." she sighed. "I'm sorry... I'm still adjusting."

"Well first off, you should think of this reality as home... since you're clearly stuck here.."

"Here I had a version of Dad who actually has a heart.. I've never known a decent man before... well before the other you."

"Other me... I think I'm insulted." he smiled as he played with her.

Lasarra looked at him before her expression softened from outrage. "You're toying with me..."

"I am yes." he responded with a smile.

"Oh... Sorry... I keep forgetting."

"Well.. you'll adjust, give it time." he responded as they reached his home away from home. "Here we are, come in and make yourself at home."

Lasarra smiled as she kicked off her shoes and then her uniform jacket, before she went over to his desk terminal. "I still got a ton of research to worry about."

Erikson went over to his replicator. "Whats your poison?"

"Orange Punch please.." Lasarra responded. While Erikson turned and ordered their drinks and food. "Great White North Pizza, Extra Large."

Lasarra regarded him with a soft smile. "Well... come on here and lets eat... I never had much of a breakfast today."

"I have no idea if you liked this food." Erikson admitted as he set the place before him, between them both as she plucked a slice from it.
"My favorite food.."

For Erikson this was all a lot to take in. " Lasarra admitted before she took a mouthfull and ate it. "Mmm..." as Lasarra closed her eyes to enjoy the moment. Nick respected it as he regarded her. "So... tell me more... about myself.."

Lasarra regarded him as she began to explain. How they met and their relationship and how it ended in a rather brutal manner. "Seeing you again... its just... strange for me."

"I think I understand." Erikson responded.

Lasarra got up before she went over towards the bulkhead. "I got used to you being dead...Now your alive again.."

"You feel like you're betraying the other me's memory." Erikson responded.

"Yes... I do.... I mean you're him but not him because your alive and he's not and its all so confusing." all the words came out in a rush as Erikson came over to her, he gently slipped his arms around her. "It'll be okay... I'm not seeing anyone and I'm single."

Lasarra smiled. "Excellent.."
