Mission: Mission 15: Old Ghosts
Location: Various Locations - USS Roanoke
Timeline: 1200Hrs - December 3rd, 2390

Hakaya massaged her aching forehead, while Teval chuckled," that's what you get for drinking too much again."
"Shut up."
Teval simply smiled, while Varkon remained silent, while they walked to the Roanoke. Neither Teval nor Hakaya where carrying many personal possessions, as both preferred to travel light.
"So i guess that's the ship," Varkon commented, pointing at the docking terminal where a nebula class starship was docked. The unusual trio approached the airlock where two guards where standing, one was a black furred caitian, the other was a bajoran.
Lieutenant JG Moni Nasao stood at her post, guarding the airlock a she had waved aboard a few dozen crew members already including a mother and daughter pair earlier. "Greetings Gentle beings, can I assist you?"
Her large green eyes took in the sight of the small beings and the massive Brikar before her.
"We are just checking in," Toval replied, "I am the ships new Airboss, and these two are with me." Varkon simply gave a friendly nod, while Hakaya had a sour look on her face.
Nasao nodded her head. "I'll need to check your various identification, for the record.." the Caitian purred softly. "Then I can permit you to go aboard." she then seemed to smile. "Even Purgatory has its regulations."
Teval gave a puzzled look as he presented both his and his sisters Identifications. Varkon provided his as well without saying a word.
Nasao quickly accepted the three sets of identification, without a word she scanned them into the tricorder in her right hand, she then handed them all back. "Everything is in order.. Welcome to the USS Roanoke Commander, Lt. Commander, Senior Chief." she addressed each in turn.
The trio wasted little time in getting onboard. As they wandered through the halls of the Roanoke, Teval couldn't help but notice that this ship was not as clean and neat as other federation ships of the fleet. Varkon split off from the siblings as he went to his quarters, while Teval and Hakaya want to their own quarters. As soon as they stepped into the room, Hakaya wasted no time and plopped herself on the bed. Teval couldn't blame her.

After about an hour, the siblings went up to the bridge to meet the captain, though Teval had to practically force the stubborn Hakaya out of bed.
"I hope that this ships captain is not an ass." Hakaya commented dryly.
Teval smiles while he looked at his sister, "Well hey, just maybe the captain will be a crazy drunk that way you can have a drinking buddy."
"Fat chance of that being true."
The turbolift ride up to the bridge was a quiet one, hakaya was not in a talking mood. Walking onto the bridge after the turbolift stopped, Teval approached the highest ranking person in the bridge that he could find, which was a tall Halanan woman with the rank of a commander, whom Teval could tell by both sight and smell that she was pregnant.
"So i take it you are the ships XO," Teval commented to the woman.
Commander Torilla Yamaguchi blinked as she was not expecting to be addressed as she looked across the bridge then she looked down, she raised an eyebrow as she regarded the two beings, one of them was equal in rank to her. "Welcome aboard Commander." she addressed both in turn. "Lt Commander"
"What can I do for you?" the taller woman inquired
Teval shrugged," Eh, just letting the captain know that I am here, and that i am the ships new flight deck control officer. By the way, I am Teval, and this is Hakaya." Teval motioned to Hakaya, while she gave a slow and unenthusiastic wave.
Torilla raised an eyebrow. "Ahh, welcome aboard this old rickety barge." she commented. "tell me something... do you dislike being picked up and petted?" the older woman inquired as she adjusted her position in the chair.
Eh, I'd kinda prefer not to be picked up." Teval looked back at hakaya, whom shot torilla a look, then teval sail to torilla," But if you pick her up, you might be better off cuddling with a live hand grenade."
"However... be warned... others on the crew are.... less forward thinking then myself, expect some idiot to make the attempt and when they do... I will ask you not to maim them...." she slowly smiled in a sinister fashion. "Too much..."
Teval simply smiled," Well, I'll be sure to be careful about it, but i make no promises for my sister. She already left one guy in the starbase bar wondering if he will ever have kids again."
Torilla chuckled softly. "Fair enough... I will inform sickbay to expect your wounded, I'm sure Siaxx will love you for this..." she grinned. "So.. you're the new air boss..."
"Yeah i am," Teval looked around the bridge, then asked, "So where is the captain anyway."
"The skipper is in the ready room, writing letters to the families of the fallen from the last mission." Yamaguchi explained. "Our new flight deck personnel should be arriving, new equipment and Starfighters..."
"Yeah, my sections senior chief already told me about it, that i am going to have a ton of new people." Teval looked at the ready room, then inquired," So is now a bad time to meet the captain, because i did want to get it out of the way."
"Fair enough..." she commented as she indicated the door. "Well... I won't stop you. she's in there....
Teval simply nodded, and went over to the ready room, with hakaya following, but staying quiet. He went up to the door and hit the ringer.
"It's open," Zara replied as she drank on the remainder of her brandy.
Teval walked in rather slowly, while Hakaya stayed behind him, In his typical informal manner Teval stated, "Hey, I am Teval, and i am your new Airboss."
Zara blinked. She honestly had no clue what she was looking at. Cat? Racoon? And Four feet tall too. Was it the Klingon drugs in her system futzing with her? "....Urm. Well...."
Teval blinked in utter confusion, having never seen this reaction before. It was then that he could smell the dope, and the realization dawned upon him. Their captain was stoned out of her mind. Hakaya looked curiously at the vaper that was still in the tray.
Teval commented lightly," Well hakaya, I think you got your drinking buddy."
"Ermm...." Zara blinked again as she finally registered the talking rodents. "Where are your clothes? Don't the Disney parks have clothes on your guys?"
Teval had no clue what to say to this one, realizing there was no way he was getting anything done with Tane, he grabbed Hakaya by the tail, and left the room rather quickly. Still having hakaya in tow, Teval walked up to Torilla and said," Yeah, you had a point about the captain, because she is stoned right now.
Torilla looked unimpressed. "I did try to warn you..." she commented as she ran her hand over her face.
Teval shrugged," I've seen some insane captains before, but I have never encountered a captain whom was stoned on duty. Who did I piss off to end up on this ship."
Yamaguchi raised an eyebrow. "I ask myself that question every five minutes, believe me... I feel your pain..."

After their meeting with Tane, Teval and Hakaya went to sickbay to get the physical they knew that they would have to deal with, neither siblings particularly liked them, but they didn't have much of a choice. He was thankful that at least with his sister still a bit drunk, so that he didn't have to drag her in by the tail.
Lieutenant Siaxx Dvald was sitting in her office, her boots propped up on the table as she was clearly not interested in paperwork whatsoever.
She had her eyes closed as she was signing something softly. The song was called 'Hoist the colours.' On the desk was a flaggon of rum and a half eaten meal of ribs.
Hakaya eyed the rum while Teval mentioned," well, this is not normally what I expect from CMO's.
Siaxx opened one eye as she heard voices as she found herself face to face with two beings, both of them were very small. "Well.. what brings you to my private hell?" Siaxx inquired as she regarded the two beings.
"We are new to the ship," Teval commented," And we need to get our checkups done."
Hakaya gave Siaxx the ' Say something stupid and I will claw your tongue out,' look.
Siaxx rose to her feet as she came around the table. "follow me." she responded, leading them over to a biobed. "hop on." she indicated the bed before her. "I'll give you a quick examination..."
Being so short, both siblings practically had to jump up to the beds, but Hakaya's leap was noticeably clumsier and less graceful than her brothers.
Siaxx watched in silence, she noticed the second being's jump and the landing was far less graceful. "You okay?" she asked the second of the two since she couldn't tell their genders apart.
"So... which one of you should I examine first?"
Since hakaya was just not in the mood for being social, Teval answered for her," Eh she just had a couple drinks that's all."
"Really..." Siaxx inquired. "I see... a couple.." she sighed softly. "Alright then... she then produced her tricorder as she opened it. "I'll check you over first." she indicated the drunk one before starting her physical. "I see... well you're not kidding... if you want, I can give you something to cure your problem.." the Bolian commented without smiling. "other then that.... you're in a excellent health.."
Hakaya simply shrugged without saying anything, while Teval said," Yeah, just give it to her, I'll talk to her later about it."
Siaxx produced a hypo as she selected the drug she wanted, she then gently injected the small being before her. "Hows that?"
"That's fine," Hakaya said, and then it hit her, hard. Hakaya had to put her arm out to keep herself from falling back. "that's potent."
Teval simply smiled and said," There, now is my sister back to her usual cheery self."
"Oh shut up Teval."
Siaxx watched in silence before she opened her mouth. "Your turn now." she indicated the first one. "open wide and say aahhh." she then smiled.
"I've had a physical before, that's not necessary," Teval replied dryly.
"Indeed sir?" Siaxx inquired. "My hypocrisy goes only so far..." she rolled her eyes. "Its standard procedure."
Teval didn't really get it so he just sat there quietly while Siaxx scanned him.
"You're both in excellent health." Siaxx commented. "I'll update your medical records..."
"Alright, thanks," Teval replied, then both he and Hakaya left sickbay.
