Commodore T'Shaamet Antilles nodded at the tall female as she walked onto the bridge. "Captain, we've recovered one prisoner and while Commander Yamaguchi was talking to her, I was able to obtain some information regarding our prisoner. Plus the security recording from the brig."
"In my ready room." the small Vulcan stood up and went into the ready room, Ouros admired her muscular and slim physique as the Vulcan walked past her. "Coming Captain?" T'Shaamet inquired over her shoulder. She let a small grin cross her lips as the look on her face indicated she knew exactly what the other woman had been thinking about.
"Right behind you skipper." as she followed the small Vulcan female into the office. "Sorry Skipper, just a moment of woolgathering." Ouros attempted to explain herself, with being bluntly honest on the matter.
"The uniform flatters my looks, you do not need to make excuses for admiring me, Captain. I do not object." T'Shaamet commented with a soft smile. "Though I am mated, I do not mind the attention... Thank you." the small Vulcan sat down in a chair before her desk rather than behind it.
"You remind me of my dad..." Ouros commented softly. "He sits like that..." as she sat down next to the woman who was half her size.
"Your dad is easily one of the best friends I have ever had the privilege of knowing, he gave me my son... Though I asked him not to claim Evoras as his own, it would have caused us both issues but he was prepared to face it whereas I was not... The Jake Yamaguchi I know is one of the bravest, most selfless, most caring people I've ever known... He's a great inspiration to me."
Ouros paused. "I wish I could-..." she paused as the sentence trailed off as T'Shaamet regarded her. "Oh Ouros... I am so sorry... You are indeed Jake's daughter... but you come from this universe... I always thought you were Elizabeth's twin..." she sighed softly. "I sense a great deal of confusion with you Ouros... May I?" she lifted her right hand. "Maybe I can help soothe your fears... ease your suffering. Your father once did this for me... Perhaps I can help you."
"Sure..." Ouros answered softly.
T'Shammet gently placed her hand onto Ouros's face, her thumb gently came to rest over her lips, one of her fingers over the bridge over her nose, the third finger gently found itself below her eye and the last was over her ear as T'Shaamet gently found herself facing a telepath of formidable skills. "My mind... to your mind... my thoughts... to your thoughts... we're are merging... our thoughts are one..."
T'Shammet opened her eyes as she found herself on the bridge of the Infinity. She glanced around as she looked down, to gently run her finger over the console which lit up over her gentle touch. "Ouros...."
"I am here." came the computer's voice. "I am... unable to show myself... The system is damaged."
"No, it's not," T'Shaamet answered. "You intentionally walled yourself off." the small Vulcan moved over towards a turbolift and proceeded to enter the lift. "The bridge is not the command center... The armoury then." she watched the lift doors close before her. "Ouros. I intend you no harm but I must see you... Your mental defences are reacting to my presence."
"I know... It's hard to fight over ten years of bad habits but... Considering what happened." Ouros explained softly.
"I know..." T'Shaamet answered. "Ouros you know this isn't how a mind-meld works... You could harm me, mentally..." the small Vulcan explained. "I don't wish that..." she added.
The doors opened as T'Shaamet stepped out, she turned left and then she entered the armoury where she found herself, with the classic armoury set up with hundreds of weapons of all kinds including several standard missiles. There were hundreds of grenades of several types and rifles galore, plus various types of Phaser weapons as T'Shammet ignored all of it before she moved into the armoury officers office, there she found Ouros sitting at a desk. "Ouros," T'Shaamet commented, her tone was flat and without surprise. "You are afraid of me..." it wasn't a statement.
"I am afraid..." Ouros answered quietly. "Afraid of what I've endured... What I've done... and that I might have a good life in your universe... Because at times, it feels almost too good to be true." she admitted as she watched the Vulcan move to one of the wall monitors, as soon as she touched it, she gained access to Ouros's memories from the moment of her birth, her misbegotten childhood and all the nightmares that she endured, the beatings, the abuse and the incident of rape, her father succeeded in raping his child.
T'Shammet watched in horror, she was unable to do anything, powerless to change Ouros's fate and unable to help her. Her eyes grew large with unshed tears. "Awww Ouiros..." she whispered. "The Jake I knew would rather die than do this to his children..." she said softly.
T'Shaamet fell to her knees as she finished processing all of the memories that the other woman had to share, the merging of minds was now complete. "Ouros... I... I am so sorry..." she gasped.
Ouros regarded the smaller Vulcan before her, as she gently helped the smaller Vulcan to her feet. "I keep my issues tightly controlled... They don't control me..." she commented softly
"But.. sweetie, they do," T'Shaamet answered softly as she felt Ouros help her into a chair. "Your memories should be a reflection on who and what you are... But these... This is a prison... and its time to set you loose..." as she gently slapped her left hand over half of Ouros's face. "Beleive..." she whispered.
Ouros's uncovered eye opened wide as she felt the changes to her mind, her memories, and her subconscious that T'Shaamet was doing to her. "T'Shaammet...." she whimpered softly. "Why..."
"Because you need to be free sweetie... You deserve better than to know nothing but fear, self-loathing, and self-disgust... I must free you from your demons..." as she moaned softly when suddenly the door opened and in walked Jake Yamaguchi, he had an air of malice about him as he regarded the two women before him. "Awww. T'Shaamet. I was wondering who would be sent to come to pry me loose from this child's mind... " as he regarded the two women before him. "Well... it might be an interesting challenge, she's been resisting me... But she bores me and maybe you will be more worthy... Come Vulcan, let's dance... but know that if you fail. You are mine, mind... Body and soul..."
Ouros growled. "It's time for you to die..."
"I will enjoy you, morning, noon and night Vulcan... I am told you have excellent stamina... Let's see how long you last when I have you."
"Come then, Jake... I will deal with you myself." T'Shaamet answered.
