Mission 105: The Mirror, Shattered
Location: Various Locations - USS Infinity
Timeline: 1010Hrs - October 2nd, 2393
Jake Yamaguchi grinned as he grabbed the Vulcan and physically picked her up by the throat. "Oh my, you have such spirit... But you also have passions that are forbidden for a Vulcan... But it's not logical... Is it...?" as Jake regarded the small Vulcan in his grip with a mocking smile. "If you only knew... Vulcan's are among the most emotional species in known space... Then you repress your emotions in the name of progress and then you declare it logical that you repress a vital part of yourselves..."
T'Shaamet groaned softly as she felt his grip was like iron against her throat, she could not breathe as she fought his grip but try as she might, she simply could not pry him loose.
Jake grinned. "Oh, how I will enjoy your body... You hold back such passions, such emotions... such energy is-" was as far as he got before Ouros smashed one of the larger phaser rifles against the back of his head before she physically grasped him and threw him across the room, releasing the small framed Vulcan in the process.
T'Shaamet dropped to the deck with a clang as she winced, she coughed as she gently rubbed her throat and neck. "Jake never had a grip like that, even when he was holding me in his arms as he gave me my son," she muttered ever so softly. "But you knew that... didn't you..." she muttered softly.
Ouros smiled as she fought with the manifestation of her fear, her terror and it was fitting that it had taken the form of her late father, the dark reflection of the man she now called dad. "You are not me... You don't deserve to live!." Ouros snarled as she blocked his swing with a large blade that had suddenly appeared before her. Before she parried another blow that would have cut her in twain, she swung back, slicing off his arm that he wasn't using, only it didn't slow him in the slightest.
"Awww, you poor pathetic child... I am everything you lost... I am everything you are not..." the dark reflection of her father taunted her. "You are such a pathetic child..."
"I don't know you..." Ouros answered.
"Ouros, he is you, he's your fears and terrors, given form..." T'Shaamet yelled from across the armoury as she hauled herself to her feet before she picked up a double-edged blade with a handle that was not on one end, but it was in the center. T'Shaamet moved across the armoury before she drove her blade into the center of Jake's chest, as Ouros swung her blade wildly and sliced off his head. Rather than fly through the air or fall to the deck, it simply evaporated away like smoke. The body evaporated away as well only this took about two seconds longer.
Ouros fell to her knees as she let out a loud grunt. She turned to T'Shaamet in surprise. "I... I feel... weird..." as the small Vulcan gently slipped her arms across her shoulders as she was so much smaller. "This place Ouros... Its a thoughtscape... Your thoughts become your reality, you can do anything here." the small Vulcan explained. "Because I entered your mind... This is your domain but I have a great deal of say here... That thing who attacked us was a part of your personality..." the small Vulcan sat down next to the larger female, as she gently drew Ouros closer to her. "You have such promise Ouros. You are a kind and gentle soul... even after everything you have been through... I'm not saying ignore it for it is a part of you... But you have allowed your fear to keep the rest of you imprisoned." she paused. "Why... because it's easy.. I've done it myself... Jackson freed me when I learned he loved me, the first time we had together. I... I forced myself to mind-meld with him... I refused to permit him access to me... Even though I was crying for help... He fought is way through my defences... My fears... My terrors... and he freed me..."
"I feel light..." Ouros answered. "Like I can jump twenty feet..."
"I know... Your fear no longer has that hold on you..." the small Vulcan explained. "But you will need to reconcile these changes for yourself, I cannot interfere with you doing that... for you must accept it for yourself," she explained. "Shall we head back to the normal world?" the small Vulcan asked.
"One thing first..." as Ouros gently touched her lips to T'Shaamet's as she kissed the Vulcan, the Vulcan female, sensing what Ouros wanted and needed, kissed her back, their kiss which quickly turned passionate ended about twenty seconds later. Then T'Shaamet felt the other woman's need fulfilled so she then terminated the meld.
Ouros opened her eyes as she found herself back in the Captain's ready room, kneeling on the floor. "Captain?" she whispered with tears streaming down her face.
"I'm here sweetie," T'Shaamet answered softly. "Emotional transference is a part of the meld, I apologize." the small Vulcan explained softly.
Ouros gently wrapped her arms around the small Vulcan's chest before she hugged her. "You freed me... From myself. Thank you T'Shaamet..." she paused. "Now I understand... Why dad thinks the world of you, why you earn such high praise from him..."
"Your father is kin to me, had he not ended up with your mother..." she sighed. "I would have taken him as my mate." as she slowly stood up. "But that was not permitted..." as she gently took the hands of the more massive women before her, as she gently tugged her up to her feet, Ouros went along with her rather than fight with her. "The report you were waiting for..." she paused. "How long were we doing that mind-meld..." she asked.
T'Shaamet regarded the desktop clock she kept. "About an hour or so..."
"Wow... I thought it was closer to ten or twenty minutes... It was the short chat we had, then the fistfight... Then you freed me... that was after you came looking for me." she paused as she picked up the PADD and handed it to the other woman. "This is what Enyo and the prisoner discussed."
T'Shaamet tapped her combadge. "T'Shaamet to Stormstout, could you come in here please?"
