Posted on Fri Jan 1st, 2021 @ 1:40pm by Commander Victoria 'Enyo' Yamaguchi & Commander Ethan "Hardcase" Duval & Lieutenant Commander Ouros Yamaguchi & Commodore T'Shaamet 'Runt' Antilles & Colonel James "Gryphon" McTaggert

Mission: Mission 105: The Mirror, Shattered
Location: Various Locations - USS Infinity
Timeline: 1300Hrs - September 27th, 2393

T'Shaamet was sitting in her ready room when suddenly there was a beep at the door. Colonel McTaggert who was sitting on the sofa nearby, he regarded the small female before him. "Expecting someone?" he inquired of her, she nodded. "Enter."

The door opened and in walked three officers, one of them was wearing the colors of a Starfleet Marine and the other two wore command red uniforms. "Commanders Ethan Duval, Victoria Yamaguchi, and Ouros Yamaguchi, reporting for duty sir."

"Take a seat guy's and we can do this," T'Shaamet answered as the three did as asked, rather than argue with her. "Alright. Ouros, I'll deal with you first... That's Colonel James McTaggert, he's the commander of the marines aboard the Infinity and he'll be your boss for this assignment, I have heard a great many things about you, Captain and I am told you are an excellent asset to whatever unit you are assigned to, because I'm going to be throwing you into the fire." she sighed softly. "I don't like doing this to people I don't know... So you'll be supporting the Colonel with whatever needs to be done." she turned to Enyo. "I read all of your files, including what's under all that black ink. Starfleet Intelligence doesn't like it when I do it but I needed to know who and what I was dealing with." the small Vulcan explained. "All three of you have led interesting lives..."

Enyo nodded her head, there was nothing for her to say on the matter so she decided not to bother with it.

Ouros regarded the small Vulcan female in silence for a moment. "Whatever it takes to see this mission completed, will be done."

"Just like that hmm?" T'Shaamet answered in a flat, even tone of voice.

"Yes, the Empire can't sustain itself, but that's for them to sort out themselves..." the large female paused. "I apologize."

"That's alright... T'Shaamet. I like this one." McTaggert suddenly interrupted as he indicated Ouros. "I read her file... Reads like a novel. You have scores to settle, axes to grind and asses you wish to kick... Don't you young lady?" he inquired. "Oh, don't bother to deny it. I've met way too many overly eager people like you in my time... You remind me of my spouse, all eager for battle..." he turned to the small Vulcan. "Keep an eye on her T'Shaamet, she might be after your job." as he gave Ouros a rather unsettling evil grin. "

Ouros raised an eyebrow. "I prefer the job I have..." she answered quickly.

"For now, young lady... Only for now." McTaggert answered

T'Shaamet spoke up next. "Be that as it may, Captain Yamaguchi, you'll be looking after the marines... You will teach them how to blend in, getting them and anyone else who will be interacting with this reality, the proper clothing and such things. We do not plan to be boarded but you will be assisting us with those issues, if and when the time comes." she regarded Ouros as she spoke, she could sense the other woman's psionic abilities and they felt formidable.

"Yes, Captain. I will start immediately." she paused as if she was unsure. "Dismissed Captain, Colonel?"

MacTaggert rose to his feet. "Come on Ouros. We need to chat about things." and with that, the two of them departed in silence.

T'Shaamet turned her attention back to Duval. "You, Commander will be acting as my second officer for this assignment, I will inform Kayden Nell of the change, I think he'll like the change as he's going off to his own command when this assignment is finished, same with Commander Horner."

"Oh, so you'll be looking at redoing your entire senior staff when this mission is over?" Duval answered before he nodded. "I will assist you as needed during this assignment."

"Thank you," T'Shaamet answered evenly before she turned to Enyo. "You'll be assisting my intelligence guys and the marines with efforts, you will also be leading the assault on the prison camp when the time comes." the small Vulcan paused. "I was told that was what you would be doing and thus, I will see that it's done... But first, I must ask... What's your stake in this mission?"

Enyo regarded the small Vulcan female, she had the power to pull the plug on this mission and she knew it. "I have two children who are there, enduing god only knows what from who knows where... and what's left of the crew of the ISS Shield of Vega, my former crew... I feel I owe them to find and free them."

T'Shaamet regarded the other woman before her, with her large expressive eyes, she had no idea how she would feel or what she would do if something like that had happened to her children, but she did know about loss because of what had happened to her husband. "I understand... and I will see it done... Officially it's listed as a secondary objective... but if I hit the prison camp first, then all I'd do is alert everyone that I'm present."

"I know, the mission first... The database for the gateway project was located at a facility called Whiteout station... Since the base was destroyed, the backup would be located at Starbase Sixty Two." Enyo explained. "The way to deal with these guys is to act like you own the space you are dealing with, a ship like this will garner unwanted attention as there are only a half dozen in the fleet at last check... I assume Infinity is much more powerful?"

"She is, yes," T'Shaamet answered. "Any questions before I kick you both out of here?" she inquired.

Both Duval and Enyo shook their heads no. "Alright, dismissed, go settle in and then go help out with the loading and the like." and with that, the meeting was over.
