Posted on Tue Aug 4th, 2020 @ 4:55am by Division Admiral Thomas Lasky & Captain Traci MacIntosh & Lieutenant Commander Ouros Yamaguchi & Brigadier General Jerris zh'Fegerro

Mission: Mission 105: The Mirror, Shattered
Location: Marine Facilities - Utgarde IV
Timeline: 0915Hrs - September 25th, 2393

Brigadier General Jerris Zh'Fegerro led Ouros Yamaguchi out of the gym, once the door had closed behind the second woman. Zh'Fegerro turned to look at Yamaguchi. "I have a rather odd request, with your name singled out for specific mention." the Andorian Zhen commented, she was expecting Ouros to protest or otherwise say something or do anything other than what she did, which was nothing. "The Admiral is sending a strike force to return to your reality of origin and he wants you to go along, to handle the marines he's sending." The Zhen explained why she was dragging the marine before her from the gym class presently in progress.

"I see sir," Yamaguchi responded as if she was hearing someone tell her of their sexual encounter the previous evening rather then something that could redefine her existence. "Do you want me to go, General?" Yamaguchi inquired of her.

"Do you even care Captain?" The Zhen noted the younger woman's attitude with the matter before her, she decided it needed to be dealt with.

"Permission to speak freely General?" Yamaguchi inquired in a flat tone of voice.

Zh'Fegerro regarded the other woman before her for a moment. "Granted..."

"With respect General... This is my home now... That reality is an aberration that does not deserve my continued attention or the right of existence." the tall human-looking female explained. "But yes, I'll go... If only to laugh at their misfortune to have angered a rival superpower."

"Well, that was rather sudden and dramatic Captain. I expect you to behave and conform to the ideals of a Marine... In short, you are there to assist with the efforts of our people and the marines we'll be sending... Not to engage in acts of revenge." the Andorian Zhen explained, she felt somewhat redundant in explaining all of this but she felt it was better it be said rather than not be said.

"Yessir," Yamaguchi answered in a flat tone of voice, neither emotional or dispassionate. "No acts of vengeance or revenge," she added.

Zh'Fegerro regarded her for a moment in silence as she reached into her messenger bag that she carried with her, she produced a PADD. "The particulars of the assignment are there. You have two and a half days before this assignment leaves, prepare quickly and ensure that any issues are dealt with before you leave the dock."

"Yessir." Yamaguchi accepted the PADD in silence.

"Alright then, go on back to your gym class and sort out the monkey-wrench I just handed you. On your way Captain, you got a lot to do and very little time to do it." and with that, the Andorian turned and walked away, heading back to her office as Yamaguchi went back into the gym. She let out a sigh as Vaal came over to her. "What was all that about skipper?"

"I've been asked to handle a rather stupid assignment Gunny," Yamaguchi commented. "Not all of our guys, just me alone... It has to do with my reality of origin... Captain MacIntosh will be in command while I'm gone..." she explained as she indicated a woman nearby who was running on a treadmill.

Vaal nodded. "Alright, so we'll carry on with the plan of the day then while things happen for you.?" she asked of Yamaguchi.

"Yeah," Yamaguchi answered. "I leave immediately. I've been given only enough time to say goodbye before I hit the road." the tall female sighed. "I'm surprised they are letting me take a shower..."

"Lovely." Vaal's sardonic humor emerged. " Any ideas on how long will you be gone?" she inquired.

"I have no idea... " Yamaguchi answered. "Hopefully not too long. But anyway Gunny, take care of yourself and them." she indicated the unit she was commanding with a gentle wave of her right hand, with that, Ouros departed, heading for the women's locker rooms so she could shower and depart, she grabbed her bag on the way out, as she moved into the locker room and she shed what little clothing she wore before she went to take a quick shower. Meanwhile, back in the gym. MacIntosh had noticed the chat that had taken place, so she had turned off her treadmill and then she went over to the rather displeased Gunnery Sergent. "Gunny, whats going on?" she asked in a quiet tone of voice.

Vall shifted her attention over to the younger woman who was talking to her. "You're in charge now, the skipper just got ordered to handle a rather stupid assignment, which I suspect we'll hear about soon enough... She said you were in command."

"Okay," MacIntosh answered quietly.

Meanwhile, the Andorian Zhen went back into her office as she sat down at the desk that General Zh'Fegerro called her own, she tapped her combadge as she asked the com center to call Starbase Vanguard, care of Admiral Lasky. His face appeared a moment later. "You asked for me General. What can I do for you?"

"Captain Yamaguchi has accepted this rather daunting assignment, she should be knocking on your door sometime in the next hour or so," Zh'Fegerro explained.

"Thank you, General," Lasky answered evenly. "I will look after the Captain's various needs and wants... Hopefully, it'll all go well."

"I would like to have her back when all of this drama is done." The Zhen paused. "Do you anticipate any serious issues?"

"Perhaps General. I'm making preparations, just in case." Lasky answered. "Hopefully they will not be required. The mission starts in two days and hopefully, they can accomplish what they set out to do."

"Alright, then I'll leave you to your work. Zh'Fegerro answered softly before she hung up on Admiral Lasky in silence.
