Mission: Mission 105: The Mirror, Shattered
Location: Admiral Lasky's office - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 0845Hrs - September 25th, 2393

Division Admiral Lasky was sitting in his office, mindfull of the beehive of activity he had just kicked loose, he found himself looking at the roster of the crew tat were presently assigned to the Charal. He frowned as he noted that many of them were green and needed some serious work but that was his own opinion and mindset on the topic. His hand gently touched the console as if he was gently running his fingers over his wife's smooth figure. "Lasky to Lasky?"

"Yes my dear?" came the gentle dulcet tones of his spouse. "You called?" she added.

"Could you contact General Jerris Zh'Fegerro, I think she's planetside at one of the marine bases..." Lasky explained. "I need a marine for a rather sensitive assignment and I know what I'm after."

Captain Plataea Lasky raised an eyebrow, she knew her husband's mind as well as he did and she was also aware of the assignment in question, she also had a good idea of just which marine her husband wanted specifically for this assignment. "Very well, I'll place your call now. Please wait a moment," she commented by way of an explanation. Her fingers began to move across the panel before her.

Lasky nodded. "Thanks, Plataea. Lasky out." and with that, he gently tapped the display again, which terminated the com signal.

The female Lasky nodded her head, she was glad to be sitting down as she felt bloated on most days, she was coming to the end of her long pregnancy with child number three, the second child she would have with Tom Lasky since she had considered Kurt Lasky as hers but it was Torilla who had conceived him and Elizabeth who had brought him to term. She still had yet to decide on a name for her youngest son. She smiled as she made the request for a comline to the General, her request was answered a moment later.

Lasky was still seated in his office, as he waited patiently, he knew that Andorian Zhen he was trying to reach was a very busy woman. When suddenly the screen activated and her face appeared. "Admiral Lasky, what can I do for you?"

"General. I know you are busy so I'll come right to the point. I'd like to borrow Captain Ouros Yamaguchi for a very dangerous assignment back to her reality of origin. I know its short notice and I apologize for this. But she has skills and knowledge of that reality which I believe will be of great benefit to me." he explained to the Andorian.

"Could I get some background. Why her?" Zh'Fegerro inquired.

Laky nodded, this was a fair request. But first, he had to ensure that several things were taken care of first. "Is this message secure on your end.?" the Andorian nodded her head. "Yeah... Go on.?"

"Okay... So Starfleet has decided to send a mission to find out how to terminate that gateway between our realities, thus far anything we have tried has failed. So we need to know how they were able to open the gateway in the first place to find out how to break the connection." he explained the particulars. "The marines on the USS Charal, the ship I'm planning to send are mostly green and I want to switch out the skipper of the unit for Ouros. They need to be ready for war and I don't want to cause more disruption to the marines then I need to." Lasky commented. "Can I borrow her?"

"Ouro is presently between exercises so yes, I can ask her for her thoughts on this... But if she refuses me then I'll have to refuse you taking her."

Lasky nodded in silence, then a moment later, he commented. "I understand," Lasky answered. "Id like my commanders on this mission to have access to the information that natives of this reality process... I do have two other options but I want to see about Ouros first."

"Alright," Zh'Fegerro answered in a light tone of voice. "Let me call you back with her answer." and with that, she hung upon him. Lasky turned from his desk monitor as he went back to his paperwork. Meanwhile, two and a half thousand kilometers below his feet, down on the surface of Utgarde, the Andorian General rose to her feet and departed from her office. She knew where she would find Ouros Yamaguchi.

The General moved through hallways and corridors, eventually coming to one of the large gymnasiums, were a hundred and twenty marines were all working out, the General opened the door as someone screamed "Attention on deck!" as there were a sudden series of loud clanging sounds as metal crashed against metal. Zh'Fegerro hated this as she gave the offender a rather evil and withering glare. "Carry on marines, before you tear something." the Andorian shouted as she found her quarry. "Captain Yamaguchi, can I borrow you a moment?"

Ouros Yamaguchi had been doing leg press, she took a sip from her water bottle in silence. "Yes General," she said as she closed her water bottle. "Carry on guys." as she brushed her hands across the front of her tank top and shorts. "What can I do for you General.?"

"I have a rather strange request... concerning you, but we should discuss it outside." the Andorian answered before she turned to depart. Yamaguchi followed in silence.
