Marcus Solusar looked over at his sister-in-law as he and Kadian Paris exited the garage and into the main house itself. Elizabeth grinned at Solusar before she gave him a hug. "Marcus. You're looking well." she greeted him. Solusar gently hugged the larger woman back. "Hey, Beth. You look tired."

"Young children are demanding," Yamaguchi-Solusar answered with a soft sigh. "Kameron is in the kitchen, making sure you two have enough stocks for the next while."

"Next while.?" Solusar commented quietly. "Is there something going on?". he asked. "Other than me relocating here. I assume this residence is mine on a temporary basis?"

"No. It's yours. We have no use for this space." Kameron Solusar answered his elder brother's comment with his own. "Beth and I were going to return it to the local Starfleet quartermaster for use as he or she saw fit, but you can use it more than we could," he commented. "That was always the plan. It was this back in November when we first mentioned it to you and thats not changed. This home and everything in it is now yours." he produced a PADD. "The documentation saying as such." He then offered it to Solusar. He plucked it from his brother's hands. "I'm not sure of what to say. I've never had a home that I could call my own before."

"Look after it, Marcus. Don't regress into being a dumb fratboy. Thats all I can ask of you." Kameron smiled at his brother.

Solusar smiled, he then hugged his brother. "Thank you."

"Hey, looking after the family." Kameron paused a moment. "You might want to get your flight licence sorted out soonest. There is a used shuttle dealership not far from here. They do discounts to Starfleet families." he explained. "But I wouldn't recommend it. Not today at least. Not with all the weather going around." Kameron nodded to Paris. "Alright. That more or less covers everything. The rest, you two should work out between you both." he commented with a smile. "Ready to go, Beth?"

"Yeah," Yamaguchi-Solusar answered, a grin on her face. "Have fun, you two." With that, the gathering ended as Solusar, followed his wife into the small garage and was gone a moment later.

Solusar turned to Paris. He was slowly shrugging out of his coat, while he slipped off his boots. "Ahh." he groaned ever so softly. "Much better," he added. Paris smiled, her eyes twinkling in amusement. "Let's go check out the kitchen," she commented.

Paris led the way through the house. Solusar noticed that all of the doors were a good ten centimetres thick rather than the thin doors he was used to at his former home, or those on the ships he had used to get here. "Are all the walls and doors this thick?" he asked. "Why so thick?"

"Armor plating," Paris answered. "All the new residences are made from the new starship armour plating. It means that they can be prefabricated and replicated in one go, before putting in pipes and power conduits," she explained. "Each one of the facilities is completely self-sustaining and self-contained," she explained. "We can handle anything up to a major volcanic eruption without breaking a sweat," Paris added, the two entered the kitchen a moment later. "Here we are."

Solusar took a moment to look around, this was one exceptionally well-appointed kitchen. It had a central island area with two fully stocked pantries. One was for food storage and the other stored everything else. "Very nice," Solusar commented. "What about if the power does go out?"

"Thats what storage room one, which is downstairs, is for. The room has almost four hundred litres of potable water and enough food for a family of six, to last two months." Paris explained. "It's not considered a good idea to go in there unless needed, or unless you want to take inventory," she added.

"I will want to take inventory. Just in case." Solusar answered. "Just not today," he added.

"Okay." Paris nodded her head. "I'm good with that," she added. "The main living area is right there with an outside deck," she explained. "There is a hot tub outside." she smiled at him. "If you feel like taking a dip outside."

"Whats on the various floors?" Solusar inquired.

Paris inhaled a lungful of air. "On the main floor. You have a bathroom and a storage room." she paused a moment. "Upstairs, you have four bedrooms, one master bedroom with its own bathroom. The rest all share a bathroom with a common room connecting all rooms together." she explained. "Down in the basement. You have a fully furnished basement with one bedroom. Three storage rooms. A bathroom and a laundry room.." Paris smiled. "This house truly has everything you can want and need from a home."

Solusar smiled as he regarded her. "Lets head on downstairs," he commented. "Its been a long flight and I'd like to settle in."

"Right this way." Paris grinned at him.
