Mission: Mission 116: All Along the Watchtowers - Part One
Location: Various Locations - Starbase Vanguard
Timeline: 1925Hrs - October 26th, 2393

"Wait. What?" Yamaguchi-Solusar paused. This was a major revelation to her. "Why don't you just go and bed Siaxx," she commented. "Once and for all..."

Lasky smiled. "Sorry Beth but... She's a little too small for my tastes... I prefer to be able to look my bedmate in the eyes when I bed her." Lasky explained. "Besides... Siaxx has always had issues with her footwear..." he decided to send the conversation back to where it needed to be rather than on the matters of sex. It wasn't that he minded talking about sex. Lasky did think Siaxx would look fetching in nought but her skin. He also considered that she would be an athlete in bed. However, he considered Plataea to be light years ahead of Siaxx. What was worse was that he considered Elizabeth who was standing in front of him to be far better in bed than Siaxx. "Oh yes. Siaxx and heels do not get along." Lasky commented with a smile. "Much like Plataea and heels. Getting my spouse into anything resembling a cocktail dress or anything resembling formal evening wear can be a challenge," he explained.

Yamaguchi-Solusar heard that thought. She smiled as she liked compliments like that and she knew that her time in bed with Tom Lasky was a memory that she did look back on fondly. He had been good to her and he had taught her a few things that she recalled fondly as she turned a soft shade of dark brown. "She doesn't think she looks good in evening-wear." Yamaguchi-Solusar smiled. "I can relate," she added with a wide grin on her lips. "I know I do not look good in a cocktail dress... Especally while being pregnant." she paused a moment. "Isn't Laneli like that too?"

"I wouldn't know. I've never asked her what she likes." Lasky responded as he sipped his drink. "Having another me and another Plataea around... Well. It's a little strange at times." Lasky paused. "Plataea loves having a second sibling around. She is always talking to Laneli about how to raise kids, how to handle kids and the like." Lasky paused. "Plus she's always on the com with Torilla. I swear your mom loves the attention."

"Yes. Mom does. She's never had a real sibling before... Now she has three." Yamaguchi-Solusar answered. "Mom has Korelii. Laneli and Plataea... She's still not quite sure of what to do with these three other women." Yamaguchi-Solusar smiled as she sipped her drink.

Solusar raised an eyebrow. "How does Plataea feel about all of this?" he asked Lasky.

"She finds it helpful," Lasky answered with a smile of his own. "Besides Laneli has over a dozen of her own. Five are biologically hers and eight more were adopted." Lasky explained. His smile did not fade away as he spoke.

Yamaguchi-Solusar grinned at Lasky. "Now that's one woman who likes having children around."

Lasky paused before he added. "She has so many grandchildren and great-grandchildren that it's a full-time job getting birthday gifts for them all."

"Oh, wow," Yamaguchi-Solusar answered with a smile. "I see what you mean."

Solusar regarded his spouse. "In time. Your mother will have that same concern too... She's got you with one, soon to be two. Gabe with his three... Though I know he's planning number four with Sav..." he explained. "Rachael has her five and Selendis has her two..." he then shrugged. "There is still Ouros and Lasarra who have no children as yet..." he then smiled. "Then there is Lasarra's girlfriend... Who might become a Yamaguchi soon." as he regarded his spouse with a smile.

Yamaguchi-Solusar blinked. She had no idea that Gabe had been planning to have another child with Savannah. This was a major revelation to her. "How did you know about Gabe?" she asked softly.

"He and I got talking about children and he came right out and told me," Solusar answered. "I was as suprised then as you are now."

Lasky raised an eyebrow. "I recall when Savannah had Gideon. Wasn't she at a dinner party or something?" he frowned as he didn't fully recall the event in question.

"A double wedding actually," Yamaguchi-Solusar answered, a rather wide smile on her lips. "I mean there was Savannah. Looking ready to pop wearing nothing but a simple black cocktail dress... Then there was the backache she had been ignoring all day. How she was able to do that. I will never know..." her smile only widened. "That woman has tolerance's that I can only imagine."

"Isn't backache for pregnant females a right pain?" Lasky inquired the younger woman before him.

"Oh yes," Yamaguchi-Solusar answered, the mirth in her eyes reflected what she was saying. "How bad can it be?" as she grinned at him. "Well... Let's just say it's worse than the human ladies time of the month and leave it there."

"Oooh," Lasky answered. "I've heard tales."

"Those tales only sugar-coat the matter," Solusar answered before he sipped the drink in his hand. "There are various medical cases and issues that can make matters far worse than for the average," he added. "Painkillers don't always work Tom. Sometimes the ladies among us must endure..."

"Elizabeth?" Lasky regarded her as he was about to ask if she had those issues.

The pregnant woman paused. She could detect his unspoken question. "No," Yamaguchi-Solusar answered softly. "I don't have those issues. If I did. I would take alternate precautions." What those precautions would be. Yamaguchi-Solusar did not say.
