"Frankly, the last six months have been nothing but a fucking horror from end to end. Now that I want out of Medical. I can reflect and apply what I've learned. Frankly. I'm thinking that it's time to move on to other assignments out of medical... I want to stop feeling I'm ten minutes late to an appointment. I want to feel like I am worth something to someone other than being good for sex and a nice face." Yamaguchi-Solusar's fury finally came out. "I want to feel like people actually give a shit about my well being before I pass out from sheer overwork because you can't get your staff to do their jobs." and with that, Yamaguchi-Solusar hauled off and smashed her fist into Galiaan Fordring's chest.

Fordring winced with the blunt force of the impact, she had not been expecting it and it showed. She rose to her feet. "I think it's time for me to go."

"I agree," Solusar-Yamaguchi answered from the bedroom door. "Come on... I'll show you out." Kameron watched as Fordring rose to her feet and moved out of the bedroom, tears in her eyes. She approached the door before she looked at Kameron, suddenly sighing. "I'm-" was as far she got before Kameron interrupted her.

"Don't... Don't say it, Doctor... I am not interested in your apologies... I don't want to hear it." Solusar-Yamaguchi said quietly. "Elizabeth hit you... Didn't she?"

"She did," Fordring answered. "I will relay her message to the command staff..." she added.

"I see..." Solusar-Yamaguchi answered softly. "Beth asked me to stay out of the matter at hand... While I would very much like to tear you two new ones for this... I gave her my word that I would remain out of it... But Doctor. This is twice that Elizabeth has had a major life-altering situation come up because of Medical's fucking her around..." he explained. "The last was on the Roanoke... with Tienn causing her to lose the ability to walk."

Fordring frowned. "I thought that-" was as far as she got before Kameron sighed and then he snapped at her. Solusar-Yamaguchi glared darkly at her. "I do not give a fat rats hairy ass that she was cleared... As far as I am concerned, she is as guilty as fucking sin... Nothing will ever change this... Accept this as a given... When it comes to my wife's safety. You had fucking best believe that I will do whatever it takes to keep her and our children safe... Regardless of the cost to me..."

Fordring turned and went out of the door only to be greeted by General Ranik Solusar. He regarded the massive woman with a look of dispassion. He did not look happy or amused to see her. "Doctor." he addressed her, and yet he somehow had the term sound almost as an insult.

Fordring regarded the General in silence as she nodded to him, one officer to another before she beat a hasty retreat.

Solusar-Yamaguchi closed his eyes as he mentally counted to twenty before the doorbell beeped at him. "Come in!" Kameron called. The doors parted and General Solusar entered. "Hey, son." Ranik greeted his son. "What was all that about?"

"Doctor Fordring felt the need to talk to Beth..." Solusar-Yamaguchi breathed out slowly.

"Do you want me to file a restraining order with Starfleet JAG? Say the word Kam and I'll make her go away." Solusar answered with a gentle smile on his face.

Solusar-Yamaguchi was highly tempted to say yes to his father's idea, he paused as he shook his head. "As tempting as it sounds. As much as I'd like to take you up on your offer... I don't think Beth will go for it. I'm sorry dad."

"That's what I like about Beth. She has more guts than most marines I know." Ranik commented with a gentle smile. "How is she?"

"She's had a trying twenty minutes or so. I think she'll be right out..." Kameron paused. "I'll let her know you're here."

"Alright." and with that. Ranik sat down on the sofa. Avalanche the cat slowly made her way over to him. "Oh, hey kitty," Ranik commented. "Is this your spot?" he asked of the cat. Avalanche meowed in response. Ranik gently presented his hand for the cat's inspection. The cat seemed to be overjoyed with the attention before she hopped up into the General's lap. Ranik gently petted the kitty. "It's okay kitty. You do not need to move... This is your home. I'm just a guest here..."

Avalanche purred softly as she made herself comfortable on the General's lap, resting her head on his hands. She looked up at him as Ranik knew he would be waiting a while. His son talking to his spouse was not something to be rushed and regardless. Ranik more or less made his own hours and he did not mind waiting for his son and daughter-in-law. Their issues were far more important than his own.
