Mission: Mission 97: The Fleet Reorganization Saga
Location: Chung Airfield, New Holland
Timeline: 0800Hrs - October 30th, 2392

Ryi grabbed some Bajoran citrus fruit as she made her way through the galley. She found a seat in the half-empty dining facility. It was shortly thereafter that Nick sat beside her.

"Good morning Taffy." He stated in a chipper tone.

"What's so good about it?" Ryi grumbled.

"Well girl, I have my own quarters, I'm not stuck on a ship, the weather is warm and dry, and we are on a casual training schedule," Nick told her. "I take it your, not a morning person?"

"I am a morning person." Ryi snapped. "I'm not a hot weather person. I thought this world was an ice ball?"

"No, there is a narrow strip of desert," Nick informed her. "Enough desert for Star Fleet to build an airfield."

"Yeah, lucky us," Ryi replied in a sarcastic tone.

"Wow, you really don't like the weather," Nick stated.

"I'm Andorian, I have blue skin. What all about that indicates I would like hot weather?" Ryi asked.

Eight Ball took a seat with the two. "Morning!" she cheerfully greeted them.

"Why are you so happy?" Ryi asked.

"Because we are dirt side and getting a lot of sun and not a lot of work. You really are a grumpypuss this morning, aren't you?" Eight Ball asked.

"Blah," Ryi replied.

It was then that Dirty Jack came up to them. "Sorry to disrupt your breakfast kiddies but we have formation at 0900 hours."

"Are we going to have any stick time today?" Eight Ball asked.

"Not today, the birds are in for maintenance," Jack replied. "Today is a sham day. Leadership is going to work out a training schedule soon so you can get your flying fix." Jack looked over at Ryi. "Cheer up Taffy, You'll be your old self soon enough."

Ryi just shot Jack a look.

Just then the door opened and in walked a shorter than average Bajoran female, a wide smile on her lips. "Hello." she greeted everyone as J'Herim Hadar looked around. Jem grinned as she regarded the irate looking Andorian Shen in the crowd.

She came over to the table a few minutes later before she slid her body into a chair across from the Andorian. "Taffy, I can assume you hate deserts?" she smiled. "It does feel a tad overdone, doesn't it?" she commented. "I mean you can take my hot ass out of the oven now, I think I'm cooked well enough." she turned to one of the men at random. "Stop staring at my ass."

Noble Six placed a large bowl of food before him then he sat down as if appearing from nowhere. "Gem, stop picking on the younger guys, it's beneath you."

"What. I like him, he's here and so am I." Gem commented. "You know what I want?"

"I know exactly what you want, I have a feeling all the men and some of the women do too." Six commented in a rather dry tone of voice.

Ironhide was listening to the developing conversation with interest as he slowly ambled on over before he sat down across from Nick. "Morning folks," he commented. "So. Gem complaining about not getting any?" he inquired with a wide grin.

"We have plenty of off time today for sex." Eight Ball replied.

"I'll be on my bunk alone and trying to endure his purgatory," Ryi added.

Just then the door opened and in walked Rachael Cullen, she was wearing her engineer's duty uniform with a large pack on her back, she pulled it off and dropped it at the door before she went through the lineup.

Noble Six regarded Taffy. "Its too hot for me as well." he shrugged as he added. "I grew up on a temperate world, nice and cool... why are we building this place in a desert anyway?" he sighed

"Hey, guys." Cullen selected a seat beside Noble Six. "I heard you guys were down here and I felt it right to intrude," she commented as another Andorian piped up. "Speak for yourself, Rachael. I hate this place."

"I know," Cullen answered Smoke. "Which brings me to why I'm here. I wanted to let you know that we now have cold water for the showers and bathing facilities." she then smiled. "I also wanted to tell you that they are now fully operational."

Noble Six raised an eyebrow. "Why did you end up as an engineer anyway?"

"I have three kids, soon to be five. What can I say... I'm in demand." Cullen answered with a smile."Taffy, you can now enjoy a cold shower. Same with you Smoke."

"Ahh, I will name my firstborn after you." the tall Andorian responded loudly.

Cullen found herself being surprised by the first Andorian piots response. "Okay my name is spelled Raarr, Ayee, See, Ayech, Ayee, Eee, El," she explained evenly

Smoke nodded. "Got it, thanks."

"Thanks for the cold water Rachael," Ryi spoke up. "While I can appreciate the cold water, I thought you would be happier as a pilot."

Cullen paused before she turned back to Taffy. "I can't fly even if I wanted to. I'm pregnant with twins," she explained to the Andorian pilot. "Sorry. The medics would have my ass, my tits and my pussy on their desk along with my wings." she sighed softly. "Having a family sucks Taffy. You recall Saki?. I know she remembers you very happily."

Ryi's demeanor improved a bit. "Yes, I have fond memories of Saki. And I know you can't fly now but don't you at least think about returning? The fighter corp is drastically short on pilots."

"Oh. You guys ain't seen the last of me. Ripcord will be returning someday." Cullen explained with a smile. "I'm not done with you Taffy, I still have so much to teach you," she added, with a grin on her lips.

"That's awesome news." Ryi smiled.

"You ever gonna have children, Taffy?" Cullen inquired. "When you do, remember me and my five kids." Cullen smiled as she began eating her food.

"As of now? No. That could change though." Ryi replied.

Cullen nodded. "Fair enough." before she felt someone wrap their arms around her torso from behind and physically pick her up. "Hello, Ripcord." Ironhide greeted her. "Hows my favorite engineer?"

"Your favorite?" Cullen inquired. "I'm surprised to hear you say that."

Ironhide slid his massive form into the chair next to where Cullen had been sitting before he pulled Rachael onto his lap. Needless to say, Rachael looked more confused than anything else. "Ironhide, don't get fancy. My husband would protest."

"Oh, I forgot you were married. I'm devastated."

"I am sure," Cullen answered in a flat tone before she shifted her position. "Mmmm." she turned to Taffy. "So, you dating anyone.?" while sitting on Ironhide's lap.

Ryi's face turned a darker shade of blue. "Er...sort of." Nick looked at her with raised eyebrows.

Cullen chuckled. "You either are or you aren't," she commented. "Good looking stallion like you should have netted herself something by now." she winked at Taffy. "Besides I recall how-"

Ironhide smiled. "Let me up, Rachael."

Rachael hoped off of her would-be suitor's lap as he got up and moved off as she sat down in the chair he had just vacated. "Taffy, not a word of this to Saki, clear?" she commented. "I'll never live this down."

"What, that you manhandled a man larger than you?" Ryi joked.

Cullen sighed. "You mean how I almost got turned into someone's fucktoy." she paused. "Taffy, you know what I mean," Rachael added. "Don't tell Saki about any of this, I have a hard enough time with her as it is, she keeps asking if she'll ever get to see her favorite Andorian." she paused. "You really made an impression on her."

Ryi looked at Cullen. "I wouldn't do or say anything to diminish Saki's mother in her eyes. Saki doesn't deserve that and neither do you."

Cullen instantly smiled. "I think you'd make a hell of a parent Taffy. Any child would be blessed with you in their lives. I know Saki is."

"That means a lot to me thank you," Ryi replied. "So what is on the schedule for you today?"

Cullen smiled. "Good. Saki likes you and she wants to hang out with you." she paused. "To be honest, not much of anything at all," Cullen responded with a smile. "I'm probably going to be heading back to the ship in an hour or so but I do have some free time," she commented as she raised an eyebrow. "Why do you ask?" clearly dropping the Andorian Shen a subtle hint.

"I'm just curious as to what you're doing today. Did you want to do anything? My day is open." Ryi replied.

"At present, not much of anything," Rachael explained evenly. "I do need to check and make sure the system actually works and not just say it." she indicated the door. "Shall we?"

"Yes, I think we shall," Ryi replied.

Rachael Cullen smiled as she went out the door, the Andorian following her. In the hallway, it was just the two of them. "I want a cold shower with you... and I want to have my way with you," Rachael said to Taffy.

"Sounds good, lets go." the Andorian answered, she knew what was coming to her.

Ironhide came back. "Wait, where did my favorite engineer go?"

Hadar smiled. "She was here, where she has gone?, I cannot say..." as she gave him a rather sultry look.
