Nighthawk listened but what got her was the words that said she was able to go back to her home reality. "Wait... I get a choice?" she paused. "Why?"

"Because we're presently in a state of war with the nation you serve."

"They can die, for what they did to me," Nighthawk said softly. "Wait.. what are.. my choices.. again?" she asked softly.

"Either you can stay with us, pretty much as a refugee, or you can go back to them," P'relle answered.

"If I remained. What would happen to me... I mean would I be able to do anything other than remaining as an object of no worth?" the small Bolian paused. "There is another me here in this reality," Nighthawk added. "You met her already. That security officer didn't feed either of us for four days because he regarded both of us as stateless entities with no rights."

P'Relle gave Nighthawk a look. "Well, that explains a few things, Thank you for telling me that." She then quickly wrote down some notes on the matter. She then continued, "Anyway, if you chose to stay, you would become a Federation citizen, and if you chose to stay with Starfleet, as long as we have all your relevant paperwork, you would be able to retain your current rank, though after some retraining."

"I spent much of my career in special forces. It's something I love." Nighthawk explained. "Are there openings here for me with that sort of background?" the small Bolian inquired, sounding almost hopeful.

P'relle sighed then mentioned. "to be honest, we have too many open positions everywhere, with the Federation's military, in general, having to expand so rapidly everywhere. Why??" came the unexpected response. "Is there a specific ship or base that you want."

Nighthawk grinned. "Excellent. Where do I sign for refugee status?" she inquired. "Do I have anywhere I can go to wait?... how long does it take and do I need to check in with anyone after I leave here?" the small Bolian inquired.

"Actually there will be quite a few checks," P'Relle explained. She then handed her a PADD. "This is the initial application form for refugee status. Keep in mind that if you want to transfer into our Starfleet you will need to complete retraining courses and you will have to undergo a psychological evaluation. You also won't be eligible for command of any units for a few years, but as I mentioned, you will get to keep your existing rank."

Nighthawk accepted the PADD before she began filling out the relevant details and the like. "Well, fortunately, I have an implant that allows me to store all of my documentation, it's located in my left foot, just in front of the Achilles tendon." the small Bolian explained. "When we finish here, I'll ask a medic to fish it out and an engineer to defuse the bomb, it's booby-trapped to prevent tampering, in case I was ever captured." the small Bolian proceeded to explain at length.

Whiteshadow regarded the small Bolian with a critical eye. "What was your mission here?"

"Mostly infiltration and theft of classified information, weapons and the like. The leaders of the Empire are desperate so they are willing to resort to any means to keep what they have." she shrugged. "My implant will have information that's useful to you about my mission and the like."

"I'll have a look at it, once you have it out," Whiteshadow answered evenly. "I'd like to ask you a few questions about your treatment under Commander Rota if that's alright."

"Of course," Nighthawk answered eagerly. "What do you wish to know?"

"Why did the other Siaxx lose her temper so quickly where the man was concerned.?"

"Well, that's simply because he treated the two of us as imposters from the other reality, rather than just me. We were held without charge for close to four days, which is illegal as one can't be held without charge for over twenty-four hours. We were also not fed, in fact, we were completely ignored during our entire time in that cell." Nighthawk explained bluntly. "Siaxx gets low blood sugar because she has just given birth recently. Had Rota held her son in addition to us, I am sure that Siaxx would want to murder him." she then chuckled softly. "I would assist her with this matter."

"Really now." Whiteshadow paused. "I think I'm going to be needing to have a separate word with Mister Rota. These are serious accusations."

"The evidence of the cell monitoring equipment will back up what I'm saying," Nighthawk answered in an even tone. "Plus interviewing Rhaenys and the other Siaxx will also corroborate my story."

"I'm going to look into this matter, myself," Whiteshadow answered. "In any case." he turned to his comrades. "Do either of you have anything to add for Ms. Dvald?"

Cloudkit double-checked his notes then answered. "No, that's pretty much it."

Whiteshadow nodded. "Alright. Well, Ms. Nighthawk. I confess. I am not sure of what to do with you."

"That makes two of us," Nighthawk answered evenly. "I can't have a command because this Starfleet thinks I'm nuts, they are not far wrong by the way. So... I think I should take some time to connect with my family in this reality and then I should consider what new name I want. Considering you have a Siaxx Dvald present. I am a copy so." she simply shrugged.

Whiteshadow paused. "So... Do you need time to consider it?"

"No," Nighthawk answered quietly. "I'll select Daenerys as my new name. When we finish here. I'll go see the Operations guys and make it official. Will you guys require anything from me before I leave? I need to go find my mother... I think she's assigned to the Stalingrad." Nighthawk explained. "I think she could benefit from having another family member present." she paused. "I could benefit from her and the rest of my kin here.." she sounded almost wistful.

Cloudkit shook his head, "No, we don't need anything more from you, that's pretty much it, just remember to fill out your report regarding the other universe soon."

"That's fine. is Oh eight hundred hours tomorrow good for you guys?"
Daenerys inquired with a smile.

"Yeah that's fine," Cloudkit answered.

Daenerys smiled as she accepted the PADD. "Okay, I'll see you guys tomorrow morning then." and with that, the small Bolian female
