Mission:
Mission 94: Shattered Shields and Crack'd Swords
Location: Various Locations - Starbase 12
Timeline: 1000Hrs - September 10th, 2392
Lieutenant Jiao Anderson was standing at the replicator as she considered what she wanted to eat when this large Caitian male walked past her. Balin meanwhile got into the line up as Kimora Anderson smiled as she regarded the massive Caitian, a sly smile on her face. "Well hello, handsome." she began hitting on the Tiger before her.
Balin was not in the mood for the attention and it was showing too. "Ummm... Please leave me alone," he responded, clearly not wanting any sort of attention and wondering where the heck Tienn had disappeared too.
"What?" Kimora Anderson was now insulted which led to her losing her temper. "You fucking asshole!" she screamed at him.
Sian Anderson was a year older and was a little larger than her younger sibling. "Kimora. Let it go already. So he doesn't like you. What of it?" she seemed much more rational than her younger sibling.
"He's being a little bitch," Kimora complained.
"I could say the same about you. " Sian answered with a sigh. "He doesn't know you. Let him be." Sian added in a firm tone before turning to Balin. "I'm sorry, big guy."
"I will live," Balin answered quietly.
"Fucking worthless housecat." Kimora lost her temper right before she hauled off and smacked Balin once. Sian's jaw dropped as she watched the massive Caitian proceed to block her second blow with his left elbow and then he parried a third before he countered with a punch to the chest, this had the effect of ending the fight and dropping the teenager to the deck.
The teacher who was minding the small group meanwhile called Security right before Jiao Anderson walked up to Balin and demanded an explanation, under threat of force. This was the worst move she could have made as he turned and hissed angrily right in her face.
Anderson then slapped him across the face, he simply hauled off and slapped her back across the face, she had age and experience whereas he had size and mass working for him.
Three security officers showed up right at that moment and arrested everyone involved. Balin found himself in a cell as he got comfortable.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Jiao Anderson and Major Tienn Nerra were both summoned to the Executive Officers Ready room on the USS Roanoke-A.
A short time later, the three children and the two parents were present, gathered for Teval to deal with this case. Major Tienn Nerra sighed softly but she said nothing.
Lieutenant Jiao Anderson still sported the red mark on her face from where Balin had slapped her. The Caitian meanwhile looked downright angry while the two teenagers looked irritated and concerned respectively.
Both Teval and Varkon walked into the office, neither in a very good mood. Teval slapped a PADD down on his desk then glared at the individuals in front of him, "So, you want to tell me what all this is about."
Sian sighed softly as the older teenager began to explain what happened when Kimora muttered something. Balin turned his head before he growled ever so softly.
Tienn could feel the hairs on the back of her neck, standing on end as she quite literally forced herself to breathe.
Teval heard Kimora's racist comment quite clearly, and his fur began to puff up in annoyance. He decided to ignore the children, however, instead he addressed Jiao. "So Jiao. Did you teach your children to be small-minded bigots, or did they learn this on their own."
Sian opened her mouth first. "Interesting accusation you throw at me. Considering I tried to resolve the issue before it got out of hand," she responded, not losing her temper in the least.
Jiao raised an eyebrow. "I didn't teach them anything about being a bigot." the older woman sighed softly. "I wasn't even present at the time," she added.
Kimora was the one who sighed. "All I said was how nice he looked, he was the one who told me to fuck off!."
Balin turned his head. "No. You didn't," he growled at her. "I said I wasn't interested and then you proceeded to turn into something like a Klingon slaver I once knew."
"You fucking asshole!" Kimora snapped at him. Balin growled as he lifted his hand to take a swipe at her, he then hissed loudly at her.
Tienn spoke up. "Balin. Its okay," she said softly. "Ms. Anderson. I highly recommend you not do anything stupid or I'll be the one to deal with you." the small Bajoran female said in a quiet but firm tone.
"Stupid fucking overgrown housecat," Jiao muttered softly.
Tienn caught someone muttering something but she didn't hear what it was but she elected not to press for specifics.
"Varkon," Teval growled.
Varkon nodded and intervened in the fight. He casually walked over to both Balin and Kimora and picked both of them up, separating the two of them and preventing them from fighting.
Jiao leaped to her feet and drove her fist into Varkon's chest as hard as she could, all she got was a broken hand and several broken bones, she instantly crumbled back into her chair, clutching her ruined hand while she whimpered in agony.
Tienn watched in silence. "Balin, he's just holding you there to keep you away from her. It's gonna be okay." the pregnant Bajoran tried to calm her son.
Balin's response was to claw Varkon with his hands, only to end up leaving himself with dull claws. "What are you?"
"I'm a Brikar," Varkon answered simply. "It is wise for you to not try and punch me or claw at me, you will only hurt yourself doing that." Varkon then sat Balin down in Teval's empty chair then he put Kimora on the other side of the room.
Tienn had a moment of thought as she considered just how ironic this situation was to her, just a couple of months ago she was reassigned for losing her temper, that started her on a path to her husband and her pregnancy. "Balin. It'll be alright," she said to the rattled Caitian in Teval's chair.
Balin meanwhile shifted his position in the chair. "Mmmm comfy," he commented as he settled down instantly while ignoring Kimora who was giving him an evil glare.
Sian sighed as she looked at her sister. "Kimora?" she paused. "Kimora!" she snapped at her sibling.
"What!" Kimora snapped back.
"Holy fucking shit, you are so immature it's beyond stupid, How am I fucking related to your dumb ass?!" the older teenager snapped back.
"Ladies. Enough!" Tienn growled. "This is not helping." she indicated Balin. "Do you two girls know anything about him?. He was born a slave, separated from his mother and siblings almost at birth, he was trained and then used as a brood stud. To Impregnate as many females as possible."
The two teenagers looked at each other as Sian held her silence. Kimora growled something. Tienn meanwhile didn't catch it but she decided to deal with it. "Out with it girl. What did you say?" she growled.
"Nothing," Kimora responded.
"Keep your mouth shut then a girl. Lest I close it for you." Tienn growled softly, there was no missing the outright hostility in her voice.
Morales nodded. "Indeed. Now.. Jiao. As you are one of my officers. You disappoint me. What Torilla sees in you is a great mystery to me at times." he commented, the first words spoken by him in over ten minutes.
Teval turned his attention to Jiao. "Yes indeed, Now, I'm sure your CO would agree with me, but I think you and your daughters need to attend both counseling and racial sensitivity training."
"Yes," Morales responded. "He is in agreement and you will be attending these classes, Jiao. Your daughters will be in attendance too. Try not to honk off Saia otherwise it'll go poorly for you." he commented.
Tienn watched her son more than anything else, she could see he was highly agitated and wasn't calming down. "Balin?"
"Yes?" he inquired.
"Breathe in, slowly through the nose, then count to ten and exhale. Do it ten times." Tienn explained with a gentle smile on her lips before she rose to her feet and moved speedily to his side, mostly to reassure him that she was there.
Teval then turned to Morales, saying. "If you will be so kind, please get Jiao and her children out of my sight, I have said what I needed to say."
Morales nodded. "Lieutenant Anderson. You are dismissed. You'll be waiting for me outside my office in thirty minutes, have your children along as I have some words I wish to say to you three."
Anderson sighed. "Yes sir." and with that she. Sian and Kimora all rose from their chairs and departed. Tienn meanwhile had one hand over her face. "Wow," she muttered softly.
Teval let off a long sigh of annoyance, then turned to Tienn, "So, have any idea's on how to keep dumb crap like this from happening in the future."
Tienn regarded her son with a curious look before she shifted her attention to Teval. "No." she answered bluntly. "I didn't see this issue becoming an issue so I need to go do some homework." she turned. "You and I need to talk Balin. You didn't claw her which I am quite surprised about," she commented. "But I need to check with my other children and figure something out."
"You're free to go then," Teval replied in a dry tone.
Tienn nodded. "Okay." she turned. "Come on big man. Let's go home." she rose to her feet as the large Caitian followed her. "By the way, she was it she said?" Tienn asked as the two walked out the door.
A moment later there was a loud shot. "WHAAT!!" came Tienn's enraged strident tone through the wall.
Morales raised an eyebrow. "I'll try to keep Tienn from murdering Ms. Anderson. I will, however, make no promises." he sighed. "and here I was thinking my new command was going to be a dull one. Well, I'd best get back."
Teval heard the shouting but decided to ignore it, he no longer wanted to deal with this issue.
