Mission: Mission 90: Revisiting a Supernova
Location: HD-385784-2395
Timeline: June 1st, 2392

"Sounds good." and Hodges departed sickbay as she went back up to the bridge where she found Elathian Jii in the middle of a chat with Lieutenant James Madison who was the ships Chief of Science and Master Chief Petty Officer Rochelle Simpson who was the ships Chief of the Boat. "Well, Rochelle. I'm not sure of what to tell you in regards to the true operational status of the base's computer systems. I also noticed there were no lifesigns." Madison was saying.

Elathian Jii nodded. "But how does that explain all of the damage over there?" he inquired. "Hail the Washaibo, and patch in the Tvashtar and the Warsaw," Elathian commented.

Lt Commander Janeen Whitson nodded. "contacting them now."

Tvashtar's response came back first. "Tvashtar, Konavalov here. Go ahead?" she inquired as the response from the Warsaw came back a moment later. "Cooper, Warsaw here."

Elathian sighed. "We've recovered three survivors, all of them seem to be from the USS Pinto. What do you think should be our next move guys?"

Kasana looked at her sensor read outs and noticed that long range scanners where picking up a cluster of incoming contacts. "Looks like we may not have much of an option, my long range sensors are picking up incoming contacts, I think we alerted someone else to our presence."

Elathian Jii sighed softly. "Red Alert. All hands, battlestations," he commented as he nodded.

"Channel closed." the Operations officer responded. "Wait... I'm detecting the Pinto... She's on the run from those contacts."

Elathan Jii smiled. "Hail her, inform them we're here and we will assist them..."

The Operations Officer nodded as he went to work, his response came back a moment later. "They are adjusting course, heading for the Wormhole."

Lieutenant Bronjiarr Zhel sighed softly. "Shields are up, maximum strength. Weapons are ready," he added.

Elathian Jii sighed softly. "Time to arrival?"

"Just over ten minutes."

"Alright. Tell Tvashtar and Warsaw to prepare to receive visitors. I highly doubt they will be friendly." Elathian ordered. "Inform them the Pinto has been found and she's being recovered now."

"Messages sent."

Meanwhile over on the USS Tvashtar. Captain Autumn Konavalov sighed softly. "How many were there?"

"Six ships sir, all approaching us at faster than warp nine." was the expected response. "They are chasing the USS Pinto..." was the unexpected addition

Julia Yamaguchi sighed softly. "Here I was hoping to get through today without something stupid happening." the female Dranaei responded.

Kasana then mentioned over the Comm. "I think it's a good idea for us to withdraw for now. We have no idea where the Pinto might be, and I don't think these six ships are going to be our only company. My ship can set a minefield at the entrance of that wormhole to discourage them from following us."

Elathian Jii nodded his head. "All Federation ships, withdraw through the wormhole. Screen the Pinto."

The Warsaw turned and made its way back through the wormhole with the Tvashtar following, the USS Pinto was next with the Pillar of Autumn being the last one through. All three ships formed up with the USS Warsaw which had moved to near the wormhole.

Wasahibos was the last ship through the wormhole, however, they dropped hundreds of mines just on the other side, ensuring that any non Federation ships that tried to follow would run into a nasty surprise. The wormhole opened and hundreds of the miles moved towards the wormhole, mass-detonating in a truly massive explosion, this in turn destabilied the wormholes subspace matrix which ccollapsed the wormhole forever.

Tvashtar meanwhile had moved away from the wormhole as the Warsaw was also moving off, both were heading into different areas of the system clearly to chart it. The Pillar of Autumn remained behind with the Akurian vessel.

Elathian Jii refused to simply call the mission over, just like that but he had known that the chances of finding the Pinto were extremely low. Yet there she was, being assisted with the There was no reason to assume she wasn't already destroyed elsewhere. "Hail the Akurians." he paused as the connection was made. "Okay, now that we've found the USS Pinto, who do you think our next move will be?, other then to chart the system." he inquired.

Kasana shrugged. "Honestly, I have no idea what to do with this issue. It may be best for you to contact Starfleet command on this one."

"Alright. I'll ask Fleet Captain Yamaguchi to handle that. We can chart the system in the meantime." he responded as he tapped his combadge. "Elathian to Yamaguchi. I need you to contact Starfleet command and inquire about orders."

"Will do Jii. I've been monitoring and I'll have something for you soon." Yam,aguchi was known to be on a first name bnasis with anyone he worked with. He was even more laid back with his style of work then Jake, his twin brother was known for.

"Thanks, Lee. Elathian out." as he turned back to the other situation before him. "In the meantime. Let's go ahead and chart the system. Maybe Starfleet will have something for us." he said to the Akurian commander.

Kasana then suggested, "It is probably a good idea however to take the USS Pinto to the nearest starbase medical facility as soon as possible."

Elathian Jii nodded his head in agreement. "The closest base is Starbase Two Fourteen. We'll head there with the Pinto, even though she was recovered, she looks to be in terrible shape." he commented as he tapped his combadge, he gave the orders to the bridge crew as he tapped the display. "Lee will handle things from here. Elathian out."

He rose to his feet and went out onto his bridge. Meanwhile, the Pillar of Autumn turned as she began her long exit of the system.
