Mission:
Mission 82: It Is War’s Prize to Take All Vantage.
Location: Various Locations - USS Spirit of Winter
Timeline: 1900Hrs - April 25th, 2392
Captain Torilla Yamaguchi was seated in her command chair as she looked down to her left and to her right, no sign of her two dogs. The older woman let out a soft sigh. "I miss my dogs. I miss my kids.."
"I hear ya." Commander Javier Morales who was seated at her right side, nodded in agreement as he responded to her comment with one of his own. "And.. we're being hailed... The skipper of the USS Spirit of Winter would like a word.."
Yamaguchi raised an eyebrow. "Route it to the ready room. I'll take it there." as she rose to her feet. "you have the bridge." and with that, she went into her office before she tapped the large wall monitor. "Akaris...What's going on?"
"Your family members, That's what's going on," Akaris answered in a dour tone. "All three people on my ship with the last name of Yamaguchi have landed themselves in the brig."
Yamaguchi blinked. "Umm. What?" she paused. "I assume you wish for me to come over and yell at someone?" the older female inquired.
If you think it's necessary," Akaris replied," But I think it would be nice if you came if at least so you can tell just why they decided to get into a battle royal with Ajal and Sokanon."
"I'll be right over. Yamaguchi out." and with that, she hung up and went out the door. A few minutes later she walked out of the transporter room on the USS Spirit of Winter. She was greeted by Renhai. "Okay. where are these delinquents?" she inquired. "The brig I assume.... shall we go visit them?"
Renhai nodded. "Yeah' I'll take you there, Akaris is not too fond of dealing with them at the moment."
"Understandable... I will take it from here if you wish it." Yamaguchi responded in a soft tone.
Renhai nodded. "Yep, go ahead."
"Very well." Yamaguchi turned before she started walking towards the nearby turbolift. "Let's see... " she commented softly to herself as the doors opened, the lift was empty as she smiled. "Brig," she commented before she picked up Renhai in her arms before she tossed the smaller being up onto her shoulders. "Feel free to hitch a ride. I won't object." Yamaguchi commented.
The doors opened as Yamaguchi stepped out of the lift, taking care to crouch down so Renhai didn't whack her head off of the top of the doorway. "Almost there," she commented as Yamaguchi walked into the brig space.
Within was all the personnel gathered, in their various cells. Gabriel Yamaguchi was meditating and his wife was likewise doing the same across the two cells but others were angry and all glared at each other. "So.. I assume Captain Akaris is moving her command center down here?" she inquired. "It's not what I'd call the best-designed command center I've ever seen.." as Torilla locked eyes with her only son, she mentally inquired why he was here.
Gabriel Yamaguchi regarded his mother in silence as he mentally answered her question. Torilla nodded her head as she took a moment to look at the various people present. "So... Lieutenant Sokanon. It has been awhile, How have you been?"
Sokanon regarded Torilla Yamaguchi. "I've ... Been better.." she paused, unsure of how to finish her sentence so she doesn't try.
Yamaguchi turned. "Autumn. You had a hand in this... What's your excuse!"
Autumn tried to respond but Torilla can't hear her before the tall female reached over before turning off the sound inhibitor. "Right. I didn't start the fight."
"I did," Ajal responded but Torilla couldn't hear her. "Who are you anyway?" the Klingon inquired
Yamaguchi turned. "Can you hear me?. Nod once for yes."
Ajal growled as she nodded once.
"I am Captain Torilla Yamaguchi... Why did you feel the need to start an incident like this?"
Ajal regarded her in silence before she looked at Lieutenant Yamaguchi before turning back to the older woman. Ajal quickly realized that she was dealing with Gabriel's mother. "Awww shit." the Klingon woman swore.
Yamaguchi looked down at Renhai who had hopped off of her shoulders. "Well. What to do with these guys...?" she inquired.
Renhai looked up at Torilla. "Well, Gabriel and Savannah aren't the centers of the problem here, no its Ajal, Autumn, and Sokanon. At this point, the only thing I can think to do is separate them. Have Autumn and Ajal go to a different ship. Meanwhile, Sokanon should be relieved of her CMO duties temporarily and have someone else take charge. Unfortunately, with that Roanoke doesn't have an extra medical officer to really spare."
"I however do," Yamaguchi answered her. "I'll give you Lieutenant Pravdin. She needs something to distract her from her husband's death and this will suffice there.." she paused. "Roanoke I believe has no Chief Counselor... But should we send them both to the same ship?" Yamaguchi asked quietly.
"That should be fine," Renhai answered.
"Alright then," Yamaguchi responded. "We could send them both to the Roanoke. Hopefully, their situation doesn't get too stupid.. but..." the large woman sighed softly. "I'm cynical by nature.." she paused as she tapped the hanger forcefield to Autumn Yamaguchi's cell. The force field emitted a loud crackling sound as it collapsed. "Alright... you, go home and pack... we're sending you over to the USS Roanoke. you'll take over as their Chief Counselor. They presently are without one."
"Yessir." the smaller Yamaguchi responded.
"On your way then." The small female turned and walked out the door before Torilla came to her son's cell, she then skipped his before she released Sokanon next. "You are to report to the USS Courageous. Inform Commander Rachael Haig as to why and that I will brief her within the Hour... Then you'll turn over your command to Lieutenant Calliope Pravdin, She will replace you as Chief Medical Officer for this ship until further notice... On your way."
Sokanon didn't react, other than to turn away and depart quickly while Torilla regarded the Klingon female who was almost her own size. "Lieutenant Ajal. I'm sending you over to the USS Roanoke... Because I think you and your girlfriend have issues you must deal with together but that's me and I have a bad habit of being easily disappointed. Go home and pack... Lieutenant Lee 'Apollo' Adama in charge.."
"Aye... Captain."
"On your way." and with that Ajal turned and left, this left Torilla with only two people left as Savannah was kneeling down on the floor, her eyes closed. Torilla tapped one of the forcefield deactivation buttons while she used her mind to tap the second one. "Alright, you two.." Yamaguchi addressed her son and daughter-in-law. "Come on out of there... I left you two to last for two reasons."
Gabriel stepped out of the cell, regarding his mother as he did so. "Because you're disappointed and wanted to tell us quietly.?"
"Partially," Yamaguchi answered. "But also because from what I've been told, you two had nothing to do with any of this trouble... So I want them to think you two are being punished... Whereas you do not so go home and." Yamaguchi paused as she smiled. "You're grounded."
"Really mom?" Savannah had to laugh at the comment. She didn't know how else to respond.
"Sorry. I couldn't resist... Anyway, go on. Get outta here you two.." Yamaguchi answered.
Gabriel Yamaguchi and his wife both turned and departed in silence. Torilla turned to Renhai. "Well now. That was different. I expect this level of insanity from Roanoke. Not this ship.:" she let out a sigh. "I hope this gets sorted out... But if not then we might need to consider more punitive steps."
Renhai nodded and left without saying a word.
