Location: USS Spirit of Winter - Sickbay
Timeline: 1120Hrs - April 23rd, 2392

Lieutenant Sokanon peered at the display before her when her stomach growled at her, demanding attention, she was pregnant and thus she needed to eat more when one of her nurses came over. "Doctor... You asked to be informed of any changes to Chief R'Merah.?"

"I did... Whats going on?" Sokanon inquired.

"He's coming out of the coma. He should be awake shortly."

Sokanon cheered at the sound of that, she tapped her combadge. "Sickbay to Renhai. Chief R'Merah is waking up. I thought you'd like to know."

Renhai quietly made her way over to sick bay arriving only minutes after Sokanon's call.

One of the nurses smiled as she regarded Lieutenant Gabriel Yamaguchi was he was in getting a follow up done on his wounds sustained a couple of days earlier, he sat in silence.

Meanwhile, Autumn Yamaguchi was also in sickbay as she was reading a PADD which she held in her hands, the PADD was oversized considering she was not a large woman. "Mmm... Okay.. Ensign Heidi Maran will need several sessions, that's fine. I'll book her into my workload..." she paused as she regarded the nurse who went over to Sokanon. "R'Merah is awake."

Autumn followed the larger Caitian female in silence after she lifted her medkit in her hands.

Renhai also followed, keeping silent herself. There were still multiple Ferasians in sick bay, some of them recent rescues.

R'Merah peered at the people assembled before them, however, his eyes looked dull and almost lifeless, he also showed no signs of recognizing anyone. "Who are you..?" he asked in Klingon but before anyone could answer. He asked the second question. "Who am I?."

Sokanon peered at him. "You are Chief Petty Officer R'Merah. You are a member of this ship's crew."

"Chief Petty Officer R'Merah..." the confused Caitian answered in a soft voice. "That's a long name."

"Its just R'Merah," Yamaguchi explained in flawless Klingon. "Your name I mean."

R'Merah peered across at Autumn Yamaguchi. "Who are you?"

"I am Autumn." she indicated the larger Caitian female nearby. "This is Sokanon and that is Denise Sanders. She's the one who has been looking after you while you slept." Yamaguchi explained as if talking to a child.

"You are patronizing him," Sokanon informed her.

"I am helping him," Yamaguchi responded. "How about you leave counseling to me."

Gabriel Yamaguchi watched and observed quietly as Ajal waved her hand in a dismissive nature. "It doesn't matter."

"How so?" Autumn Yamaguchi inquired of her girlfriend, her tone was gentle.

Ajal regarded R'Merah with an annoyed glare. "He's faking it."

"No, he isn't." Gabriel Yamaguchi interrupted before anyone else could before he regarded the small collection of females before him. "Ladies. I'm a telepath as well as a telekinetic. Granted I'm almost mute but. Hey... I can tell you he's not faking it." as he found himself almost nose to nose with the Klingon woman, he was quite literally inches from her. "Do you doubt me?" he almost growled at her, he needed t deal with Ajal soonest before this escalated.

Ajal blinked as she backed down as Yamaguchi glared darkly at her. Gabriel sighed softly as he didn't like getting into other people's faces but in this case, handling a Klingon woman who was protecting her mate required a certain brute force as Ajal backed down.

Autumn Yamaguchi regarded R'Merah as Sokanon turned to growl at Gabriel Yamaguchi and Ajal who were looking like they were getting into it. "If you two can't behave, then I will have you thrown out."

Gabriel Yamaguchi glared darkly at the Caitian female but he didn't say anything, however, it was the nurse who commented. "Doctor. She's protecting her mate... In her eyes, nothing has changed."

Autumn Yamaguchi turned. "Guys... Enough," she commented quietly. "How long before he can leave?" she asked, referring to R'Merah.

Renhai had had enough so she looked at both of the instigators. "Sokanon, Ajal, both of you, out. You both have other jobs to do, so stop hovering around here."

Gabriel Yamaguchi sighed. "Guys, could someone handle my paperwork. So I can get the hell outta here and actually do something productive. Other than sitting here and listen to the estrogen rage around me."

Sokanon snarled as she took a swipe, catching Gabriel across the face with her claws. Gabriel blinked as he gently touched his fingers to his face as they came away wet with his blood, he turned his attention to Sokanon. He had to restrain himself from decking the Caitian female before him. "Okay. I can sense you have some repressed daddy issues lady but don't you think you're carrying on your drama a little too far.?" he growled at her. Sokanon hissed loudly at him as Gabriel handed his PADD to Renhai. "You are out of control and you can't tell your friends from your enemies..." he paused. "You are dangerous Lieutenant... so get your fucking head outta your ass." he paused. "Can I have my turn now?" he inquired with a smile. "You hit me again.. and I'll rip your claws off of your body. Do not fuck with me woman or I will really fuck you up!"

Ajal gently but firmly stepped in as she pushed the two of them apart. "That... will be quite... enough out of you." as she regarded Sokanon. "We have a shit ton of work... and you are adding to it. Snap out of your funk, wipe the shit from your eyes and focus on the problems at hand... Stop making new ones!"

Meanwhile, a nurse came over as Gabriel's temper wanted to meltdown as he was now going to be delayed further.

Renhai just facepalmed then first turned her attention to Sokanon, she didn't even bother to say anything, instead, she went into full-on mother mode, Grabbed Sokanon by the ear and dragged her out of sickbay, keeping her energy shields up which prevented Sokanon from retaliating.

Sokanon squealed as she clawed and hissed at the smaller being before her as she got dragged away.

Ajal sighed softly as she shook her head. "Unbelievable."

Once the two felines were out in the hallway, Renhai let Sokanon go saying. "You, what the hell is your problem, you are acting like a child."

Sokanon glared darkly at the smaller being. "Lemme go!" she snarled. "You wanna know... what my issue is..?" she inquired. "I went through that shitheap that was Roanoke. To top it off... I was in a relationship with a Marine.. a human bigot... I didn't see it coming and when we ended our liaison, it was brutal. So.. punish me and send me back to work.."

Renhai glared at Sokanon crossing her arms. "No, you need to take the time to calm down, you're off duty for the rest of the day, go to your quarters and calm yourself down."

Sokanon's response was more or less incoherent growling and mumbling before she turned and stalked off, her rage clouding her eyes and her body posture as she moved away.

Renhai then walked back into sickbay and turned her attention to her next target, Ajal, who was still near Autumn, R'Merah and Gabriel" Ajal, what are you still here for."

Ajal regarded the small being so she decided to come right out with it. "I'm here because I was dropping off an item... and because I refuse to trust R'Merah with Autumn. He nearly killed her the last time the two were alone.."

Renhai sighed, then replied. "Alright, Ajal, you're being a helicopter mom, back off and give Autumn some space, R'Merah is dead, the Caitian in front of you is not him. Even though he wears the same name."

Ajal paused. "Good riddance to the bastard." and with that, she turned and marched off. Meanwhile, Lieutenant Gabriel Yamaguchi was sitting in sickbay, the wound on his face gave him a wild look that was downright intimidating. The nurse meanwhile was not qualified and she was apologizing to him for it.

"It's fine ... Don't worry about my face.." Yamaguchi said quietly, even though it looked like someone had taken a knife to him.

"I can bandage it for you."

"Please. That'd be great." Yamaguchi then settled in as the nurse proceeded to clean and then bandage his wound, giving no reaction when she cleaned it with old-style aesthetic even though it set the nerve receptors in his face on fire. He wanted to scream in pain but he forced himself not to give voice to his pain, utilizing his training to do so.

Renhai walked over to Gabriel and asked. "Alright hand me your paperwork."

Yamaguchi's eyes opened as he found himself looking at a being who was half his size, rather than protest he simply gave her what she wished as he handed her the PADD in his left hand, he didn't say a word the entire time.

Renhai looked over the paperwork, then she signed off on it and handed it back to Gabriel saying," Alright you're good to go, once I am done here I'll come back to you later and patch your face up."

"Thank you so much Commander." and with that, he hopped off the bed and departed quickly. Autumn meanwhile was sitting at R'Merah's bedside as she gently brushed the fur on his hand. "It'll be okay R'Merah.." the small human woman was saying in Klingon. "I can help you with recovering your memories but... you must prepare yourself... you may not like the answers of what you find..." she paused. "Let me get permission for us to leave sickbay.." as she turned to find herself face to face with Renhai. Her eyes went wide as Ranhai had clearly surprised her. "Renhai..." she breathed out and then back in again. "Can he leave?"

Renhai nodded. "Yeah he can but I would like to have a quick word with you first."

Autumn nodded before she turned to R'Merah. "I will be right back.." and with that, the small human female went out the door with Renhai following her. "Yeah... I know about Ajal's issues with him, she's convinced he's going to beat the crap out of me and rape me again.." she paused. "I don't think he's capable of harsh words at this point."

Renhai looked in R'Merah's direction. "Honestly, he is not the one I am worried about, it's this dispute between Sokanon and Ajal. Both of them are stubborn and I rather doubt they are going to drop this issue so easily, so keep an eye on Ajal, if you can. Honestly, at this point, it seems she is the one who needs more help than you do."

Autumn nodded. "Consider it done... " she responded. "Not to mention that So0kanon aggravated a third party on this little issue. Gabriel Yamaguchi... Which will bring his spouse into the matter on his side." the small female woman shook her head. "Also, I am worried about Ajal... Considering that R'Merah violated her at the same time he violated me... But hers was of a different nature to mine... Considering he beat me half to death. Had I been a normal human, he would have killed me." she sighed. "Fortunately. I'm not... shit." she paused as she let out a sigh. "You'll need to call the skipper and Lieutenant Chevalier... I have to turn myself in."

Renhai didn't quite catch what Autumn was implying. "Wait, what, why do we need Akaris and Bernadette?."

"Because... I am a human augment. Regs require this to be dealt with.." there was something cynical in her tone. "Twenty years ago. Captain Julian Bashir nearly got booted from Starfleet because he didn't disclose that he was an augment, however, had he done so, he would have been jailed for it."

Renhai sighed, then replied. "Fine, I'll call them then."

Shortly after both Bernadette and Akaris arrived, and the four moved into Autumn's office.

Autumn sat down behind her desk. "I have to turn myself in.. I am an augment... Lets me explain what happened.. when my mother was pregnant with me, she was captured by an alien race whose name is unimportant as we'll never encounter them again..." the small female explained. "Upon my mother's rescue, she assumed I was dead and moved on. Except I was experimented upon, tortured and mutilated to become an infiltration weapon. I was artificially aged to my mid-twenties so I'd blend in better... I also have extremely strong bones and I have an eidetic memory, along with various other ... refinements. I also have an extremely high tolerance for pain." Autumn sighed. "However my failure is that I am a foot shorter than I was expected to be... and when my training failed to take hold. I was classified as a failure and scheduled to be terminated." she paused. "It was a chance that a Narvian nurse kidnapped me and arranged for me to escape." Autumn finished. "Now... None of this is in my records. As I wanted to serve in Starfleet. Had I revealed all of this? I would have been debarred from serving and probably ended up in a special jail for augments as the masses would think I was another Khan Singh."

Bernadette, Akaris, and Renhai all exchanged looks, each of them knowing exactly what to say, and then Bernadette took the lead saying. "Well Autumn, sorry to disappoint, you, but I'm not charging you. Let's face it you may be an augment, but I bet that these two little cute ones in here could still turn you inside out with very minimal effort. Renhai here has those crazy energy manipulator powers, and so does the captain, on top of that, she is also a cyborg whom wouldn't need her powers anyway. Besides, as far as I am concerned, those anti-Augment laws are nothing more than racist laws anyway."

Yamaguchi regarded the larger human woman with a curious look. "I misjudged you. I thought you were the type to enforce the rules without regard... I see I was wrong." she paused. "So... what now?"

Bernadette expanded herself. "Well, there is a difference between the law and Justice. I stand for the latter."

Renhai then added. "Well, for now, we do nothing, however, I suspect that in the near future these laws will be openly challenged."

"Good. Those laws need to be placed in the dustbin of history." Yamaguchi responded. "Now... All that said, I'd best get to my patient. I've neglected him long enough and he's wondering where I am." she paused. "I know you have your issues with me treating R'Merah... But Renhai said it best.. The old R'Merah is dead and he won't be coming back... this new person in his place... I can help him.."
